I think eachdraidh might be a good fit for you. They have a lovely ASOIAF cast. Some people do rely on the lockets (network system), but there are a pretty decent amount of logs as well. It's a fantasy based game and there are monthly events for characters to be involved in. It's backtag friendly from what I've witnessed and it's not overly large in that it's hard to handle or keep track of.

I believe reserves open at the end of July and the app process will be for August. It's every 2 months.

That's a pretty spiffy looking cast. I'll definitely keep an eye out for test drive going up/reserves opening.

We might be a little slower than you're looking for, but if not, I'd love to see a Tyrion at outer_divide. The genre's a blend of soft sci-fi and mystery, but we've got a pretty varied fantasy cast, and the learning curve for tech is pretty gentle.

One of our main plot threads is ferreting out potential political corruption, and there's a player faction that may or may not be gearing up for a rebellion, so someone with Tyrion's political savvy would probably be able to find his feet pretty readily.

It looks a little slower than I'm looking for, but I'll keep you in mind if I decide to pick up a second game.

You've already got a few hits but I'll throw this one out anyway. entranceway has a growing asoiaf cast, and I for one would love to see the hound running around wonderland. the ac requirements seem like a bit of a nightmare at first, but once you break it down it's actually pretty easy: one open post every two months, and in the off month just four threads of around 7 comments. The basic premise is loosely inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the idea is that Wonderland itself is pulling characters from these worlds. Events run every three weeks, varying from silly and fun to traumatic and awful, so it's a little like the best of both worlds in terms of game genre.

Our ATP ad is here, where everything I've tried to say is phrased much better and a bunch of links are available too, but basically I'd love it if you took a look!
