I've done journal-based games before, but I definitely always felt more comfortable with games that had a single comm for Network-related posts and/or logs. They just clicked better for me.

Plus, some people's journal layouts would give me headaches because of either font or color choices.

I see. That's fair enough! Its totally okay if you're not down with things, but if you do ever feel like braving the world of journal games again, then I'd be waiting with arms widen open at luceti for another member of the air family! (We do have an amazing Ikki and it seems we'll be getting a Jinora too!)

For what it's worth, new players are always encouraged to turn off custom layouts on their comment pages! And I think might be setting to keep one from seeing custom comment pages as well! All I know is it feels like a long time since I've seen any custom comment pages.

But, yeah, for right now, still kind of leaning away from journal-based. We'll see what happens as I look around more.

I'll have to fiddling around with the settings to see if that's possible; I'm...decent when it comes to journal modifications, as you might be able to tell from some of my layouts.

allow me to gently recommend high_seas or eachdraidh, if you're not already in either of them? they've both got Avatar-verse casts that would love to see Meelo, and High Seas has a 2k12 TMNT cast that would probably love to see Karai! Each also has a ROTG cast and a Percy Jackson cast, and I don't think either of your offers on that front are currently taken?

They're both comm-based and pretty open-world! High Seas runs more quickly and requires more AC, and it is pretty big in size, but AC also only rolls around every other month, so it tends to balance out fairly well. There are also a lot of CR opportunities since characters have to join a sailing crew, and mod-run events come around often enough.

Eachdraidh runs more slowly from what I've seen so far, and it definitely seems to have an overarching plot in mind, while still leaving room for characters to breathe and do their own thing. AC is once a month with less comment-counting required than High Seas, and there's quite a bit of world info to sink your teeth into! There's also a while yet until apps open up again, so plenty of time to think it over.

I'm vaguely familiar with eachdraidh due to plurk, but I don't think I've ever seen the other one before? Or if I have, I don't remember. I'm hesitant about fast games because I'm in quite a few already, but I'll check it out and judge by the game itself rather than just pacing/ac alone~

The multiple possible options are also a plus.

Not in particular, I'm open to everything! Not gonna lie, I'm sucker to exploring their relationship, to see how they bond since I totally see Jack adopting North as his father figure. But if you prefer adventures I'm open to plot something too! Or hell, AUs where they are actually family. Or whatever.

I just tend to assume Jacks come here for North. Because they usually do.

Hahaha I was eyeing both Zatanna and North tbh - hell when I remember the good old GB times I even miss Brittany! So whoever you'd like to do a psl more with, I'm game. I'll thread with both even.

Also I'm all for Z/J shipping because I loved their friendship and I know they can go better form there, but I must note that I don't do shipping with canon Jack, so if you're ok with some sort of AU, then yeah, count me in.

It be amazing if you would bring young justice Zatanna to Omegafriends, it's an AU superhero game with a saturday morning cartoon flair to it. Slade is always looking for teenage heroes to taunt, and our game's Cyborg is forming a sort of club for teenaged superheroes as well.

It would be EVEN MORE AMAZING if your brought over Klarion. Our game needs more villains, especially young ones.

It sounds absolutely fascinating. What would you say the overall tone would be? Saturday Morning Cartoons can range from B:TAS kind of dark but not too dark, to TT!GO (which I try to ignore existing, but sadly, it does exist) to JLU, which is kind of a blend between the two.

I would say that it's a blend. And not just a middle ground, I mean sometimes serious, sometimes silly. Kind of like the Teen Titans cartoon from '03 (Sometimes you get Trigon, sometimes you get Control Freak). I've been running some massive player plots with Slade that are a bit on the dark side by Saturday morning standards: kidnapping, blackmailing, manipulation, mind games, etc. And other times we have, well, stuff like this: http://omegafriends.dreamwidth.org/18272.html.

NOTE: This game JUST started like a month ago.

People RPing from Keroro I never thought I'd see the day.

But wow, yeah, I see what you mean. I'll browse around the game some and check it out and see if I think it might be a good fit. A quick glance at the current playerbase seems like it could actually work with either Zee or Klarion. She'd get to meet AU versions of Robin and Superman, and probably fit in with a bunch of other teens as well. And with Klarion, he'd probably either just tick everybody off or make certain alliances of his own until he got bored or whatever. There are some pretty awesome possibilities here.
