Mostly ME3, yeah. Kaidan, who I really need to finish canon updating to the end, is from ME3 just before the run on the Cerberus space station. Shep's from ME3 after taking the destroy option, so she gets the fun of not knowing if she lives or not. Mordin's ME2, for obvious not-dead reasons. (Although you can in fact app characters who are dead in canon.) And Garrus... Well, he gets to be envious of everyone else's reality as he's from a Worst Possible Playthrough.
