Drive-by love for Gabumon. I played Tailmon once upon a time, (in addition to Ken and Wormmon as a pair) so it's nice to see people playing the 'mons.

ngl I kinda wanna pick up all the 'mons ALL OF THEM but considering I do passwords character-specific usually, that would probably be pretty reckless if I started forgetting all my account usernames or passwords, oops!

... True. H-hopefully even if the nostalgic fanbase is watching they'll be more mature compared to back then. Hey my ship sunk and I'm not actively complaining like the... rest of my ship's tumblr tag...

But to focus on the good side, it'll be super exciting to actually follow a Digimon series at the same time with friends! I'm trying to catch up to the seasons after Frontier, in the meanwhile.

Really makes you think how far technology's come too. I remember watching Our War Game to celebrate, and that was still the time your Internet would get cut off when someone called! We'll just wait and see if they try to adapt the cast to a more recent year, or if they'll actually set the series to have been years ago.

Haha, sorry if I'm rambling! It's just my childhood adoration for this series speaking!

Well, it's like Sailor Moon; from the manga to the first anime, a disk went from a truly 'floppy' disk to one of the hard plastic floppies. I'm told in the manga re-release, they changed it to a CD. I was surprised in Crystal it still was a CD/DVD/etc. and not, like, a thumb drive. (Also Ami didn't need Luna to give her a special computer to carry around; she had a laptop.)

They didn't need to deal with continuity, though.
