Alright, let's see...

Professor Oak is a scientist (though he's more of the well-rounded type that also enjoys other things, rather than the single-minded ALL SCIENCE ALL THE TIME type) that also got to be a celebrity through his science-ing, basically the quirky mentor type.

Delia is a slightly ditzy homemaker/mother of an energetic 10-year-old son.

Claire is a fresh out of university (possibly with her master's degree?) employee/intern? at a physics lab working on time travel. There's more details to her story but they're spoilers for the game she's in. (I can tell you anyway if you want, just let me know if you're okay with spoilers.)

Also they're all sweethearts in some form or another because I like playing sweethearts, apparently.
