Although we can't offer casts, xavier_institute is quite friendly to your character types, and plot is ongoing and easy to get into, if you're okay with AUs (in this case, based on X-Men, though not any one specific version of the series). There's usually a new post or three most days, but it's very easy to catch back up if you have a slow week.
