So long as you don't mind that I'm completely canonblind after the yellow scarves arc, and will likely continue to be so for some time, then I personally am absolutely fine with canon mismatch.

That's fine! We can totally talk out how to deal with spoiler things and everything. There's a lot that Mikado doesn't tell Anri anyway, so it's not like he'd suddenly spill all the details at her.

But I am definitely interested in having her in game, and would be super happy to thread with you on the TDM, chat up stuff about the game, or any of that kind of thing.

I actually already had him talking about her to someone in game in terms of "what would she think".

I don't worry much about spoilers, mostly because I've been in RP long enough to know the second I start RPing with someone I am about to learn all their canon secrets (fun fact, I played with a Masaomi a billion years before I watched DRRR and the second the Yellow Scarves came up I was like WAIIIIIT I SAW ONE OF THOSE IN HIS ICONS so I got spoiled by icons)

I'm actually super excited now because while I haven't read the novels I have devoured the anime and manga and Anri hit me hard as my type of character so I really want to play her and to find a cast that seems really excited makes me really excited?

I see my Masaomi player linked you the comm itself for Carvaka, but peering at the info, it looks like the test drive and reserves both go up the 21st this month, and apps are open from March 27th-April 3rd.

I have midterms to deal with this week anyway, but if you'd like to test drive this weekend I will so totally hit you up.

(Also re: excited, I may have just panicked and been like WHAT IF I'M COMING ON TOO STRONG? But I've really wanted to play with an Anri for ages, and they're hard to find.)

I think the word you were looking for is ridiculous.

But yes, genuinely excited! Anri is an amazing character in her own right, aside from the obvious reasons I'd want one, and she'd be interesting in a setting like Carvaka I think. And if Mikado can awkwardly get some of that, it'd be even better.

She would be. I was actually thinking about it today, just how interesting it would be to play her in a setting like that. The manga just got me going "this could be the most amazing thing I have ever played." (I don't know how well the manga is received in the fandom mind you.) Especially with Mikado and Masaomi. SO THANKS TO YOU BOTH FOR EXISTING.

I'm not caught up on the manga, but what I've read of it looked fine to me! So I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think there are any super huge changes in Anri's character or anything that would cause a problem in playing with a mixed cast.

Yeah she seemed really consistent through the Saika Arc at least and that's the important one! sorry masaomi It also gave a lot of insight to her character and what she was thinking and expanded her relationship with Celty just a little which made me personally very happy headless mom
