While we don't have an Akatsuki no Yona cast yet, maybe you'd be interested in melodiesoflife? It's a community game inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Characters are brought into the world of Crystallis as one of the legendary "Heroes of Light" and gain new powers based on what "jobs" they have equipped. The game moves at around a medium-ish pace (depending on how involved you want to get) and has an ongoing plot with lots of room for character-building and exploration. I also find that game-wide events are really thoughtfully planned and a lot of fun!

Thanks for the suggestion! I was actually looking at that game as well - not necessarily for Yona, but maybe with a different character who may or may not be named from a flower of Tales canon

Oh, you're welcome! The Yona anime was great and I couldn't resist (everyone in it is so adorable |3). Although flowers are also really nice.

I agree! They are adorable - and the manga brings so many feels, ohgosh.

I'm just trying to think of how the powers would convert for the dragons if I brought Yona - or for certain purple flower girls XD

I keep hoping someone will license the manga in English. I'd love to read it.

As for powers, each character gets a limit break which can be taken from their canon if they have powers. (So like for Tales, one of their Mystic Artes you could keep as their limit break.)

Besides that, when you start out, every character gets up to two jobs (you can pick pretty much any of the regular jobs on the jobs page). They can be similar or completely different from how the character fought previously, and if they weren't a fighter before, well, they get to level up cool powers now!

For the dragons, you could maybe create something that's related to their natural powers for a limit break. Like for Jaeha you might would give him the Ninja and/or Thief jobs, and then for a limit break give him some sort of aerial attack with a powerful kick. For someone like Sophie, I could see maybe combining the Monk job with either one of the mage jobs or Illusionist?

Or you can choose completely random jobs for them; it's pretty much up to the person who apps in! And characters can always learn more jobs and/or switch them later on.

Yeah, I was thinking Monk or Martial Artist for her main class - Originally thought
White Mage as her sub-job, but I'll check out Illusionist to see what that is too!

Also there IS this page for manga reading, though some of the translators skipped a couple of chapters ahead (which is annoying) for some reason. But You can usually find some scanslations/summaries of the missing chapters on tumblr.
