I don't know Basara well enough to know if it'd be close CR for either of yours (we have Yukimura and Masamune), but I'd cry with joy over a Nene. Our DW cast at the moment is Shu kids. o7

Would a mix of SoL and JRPG Fantasy interest you and your Lu Xun muse? I play this old man here at empatheias, and the game meets most of your preferences. I'd say our speed varies from slow to moderate, and leans more on the latter when there are events happening in the game.

Although there can be SoL lulls in-between game events there are player plots and NPC taskboard submissions (some of which feature giant monsters to take down) to tide the more action-orientated characters over these periods. And the mods are very flexible when it comes to player-run events as well. For example, the characters (known as the Otherworlders to the natives of Empatheias) successfully petitioned the Council to create a sub-division of the local patrol force, consisting of and led by the Otherworlders themselves to respond to any safety concerns and threats created by errant Otherworlders.

The game's plot can develop based on character decisions and actions, but follows an overarching story planned out by the mods. Empatheias takes place on a floating island where emotions have an impact on people's surroundings. A few months after the first batch of 'Otherworlders' (as the characters are known as by the locals) mysteriously appeared at some ruins, powerful beings known as the Arehtei have begun to emerge and have left cryptic hints that the world is dying and that the Otherworlders may be able to help save it.

We're really really back-tag friendly and AC isn't strenuous at all (10 comments split between multiple threads, or 1 post and 7 comments in other posts). Do let me know if you've got any other questions on the game and I'll be glad to answer!

Ieyasu is probably the only one of the two with any close relations to both. I'd have to really go back and play through Tsuru's to double check (though I think she'd know Masamune due to allying with Ieyasu as well, but Basara is weird when it comes to who's with who during routes). And I have been looking for a game for Nene for yeaaaaaars, but could never find one that I kept the drive to app to, so just might settle finally. Also, Shu kids are making me rethink on who to possibly app (even though I only have one Shu among my many Weis, Wus, and Jins sob).

Have you considered thegames? It's a medium-paced game set in the Hunger Games universe, but you don't need to be familiar with the Hunger Games to play. In a nutshell, a dystopian government has taken people from their universes to play in fancy gladiator games. AC is easy to get, there's a slow-burn rebellion plot to play with, and the environment is very welcoming.

I can't offer you any castmates yet but have you considered tushanshu? We're a small/slow game with a lot of plot, some horror elements, and equal chances to largely ignore the plot and do SOL if you prefer. AC is 15 comments per month across 3 threads, with the opportunity to buy IC rewards with more, and everyone backtags into the sun.

I would LOVE to see either Sebastian or Alistair in Tushan, although from what little I know about Stargate I think Daniel would also get along quite well?

I'm currently in valoraninstitute, which is a League of Legends school AU musebox. It's a very small game, about four or five players across about a dozen champions so far, but there are events twice a month and most of the players are active enough to be tagging often.
