There is a town on an island, surrounded by murky water and fueled by demands from the ancient gods. In the center of this island is the fenced off Red Zone, where an organization known only as the Technicians work tirelessly to make every nightmare a reality. It is their duty and their privilege to cause the murders of the subjects trapped on the island, over and over again.

For what purpose do they do this? Why do they singlehandedly focus on the slaughter of innocents? Is there something deeper under the cruelty they dole out?

Perhaps. But the question that lies heavy on the minds of those trapped in this hell is only this:

Can you survive?

box_network is a medium paced game loosely based off of Cabin in the Woods and set in a city residing on an isolated island. Going into the Red Zone spells certain death- but don't let that make you think that the Green Zone is safe. Regular (usually bi-monthly) events can make things even more difficult - or at least more interesting. The events can range from gruesome to morbidly comic, and the overall genre is horror

We are community-based, and while we don't allow AUs or canon OCs, most other characters are welcome. Reserves open September 15th, and there is a test drive meme that is posted on September 12th as well. Apps open on September 22nd.
