I would like a game that allows OCs, mostly because I'm considering eventually trying my hand at one in a game; I'd rather keep myself down to one game, so even though I'm only considering canon characters now, I'd like to have that option open in the future.

No, that's not a problem at all! Both Wolf and Scarlet are from post-Cress, and I don't think either of us are looking at canon-updating to Winter for a while yet, so absolutely no rush to be caught up.

openspace is a science-fantasy game that's just getting off the ground. It has an over-arching mod plot with a mechanism for lots of player plots. Powers are nerfed but regainable. (OCs are only allowed if they were born in the setting, though, sorry!)

The first TDM is up now if you'd care to give us a shot!

Hi there! Boy, do I have an offer for you.

thelegion is a brand spanking new sci fi, panfandom superhero RP, that will be opening test drive the second week of December, reserves on 12/19, and apps on 12/26. In the game, mysterious forces are bringing people into the universe of the Legion of Superheroes and giving them powers or the powers they have are being altered. Because most of the Legion was devastated in a battle the a before, they need help. The characters are being offered a chance to become Legionnaires to help bring order back to the galaxy and find out what brought them there so they can go home.

The game pretty much nails most of your requirements:

- We don't know the pace yet but there's a player cap of 30 and it's a prose game so we don't expect it to be lightning fast
- OCs are allowed as long as they're not canon OCs
- The game will definitely have its slice of life moments of people hanging around Legion World or exploring UP member worlds
- But we also plan on having an overarching mod plot and player plots and player missions are encouraged!
- While powers have to fit what we call a 1, 2, 3 rule, many characters can keep most of their powers and unpowered characters can even gain new powers if they want.

And heeeeey you'll get to play with this guy here who'd 1) Love to hang with his buddy Starlord in any capacity, and 2) will think it's hilarious that it'll be mandatory for Peter to wear the tights.
