I would be so stoked if there's a serious-ish plotty game that's around medium/fast paced. Horror hasn't worked out in the past for me, but I'm willing to hear anything.

<username="snowblindrpg"> has a Borderlands cast, definitely qualifies as plotty and serious-ish, and fits your pacing requirements too! It is a horror game, though, but still might be worth a look?
