I think High school AU Potemkin would basically be Gamagoori from Kill La Kill. But Leo is already literally Gamagoori so I don't know.

I find I-No hilarious so if you have an idea go for it since that just means I can play comedy straight man Potemkin. Of course you can do that with Ky too, or have them both be straight men to an insane world/situation. I really like buddy cop films/Top Gun knockoffs why do you ask.
