-This is kind of an odd request, but I'd like there to be a mechanic where the characters don't necessarily have the fear of getting sent back home at any moment hanging over their heads all the time. Obviously people drop sometimes, but in some games it's explained by characters dying or wandering off on their own or something like that, and isn't something that anyone is expecting to happen. I hope that makes sense. I'll consider games that don't have this, but it would be a huge incentive.

If slice of life is a plus, have you considered forestcovered? It's a primarily slice-of-life game loosely based on Spirited Away, where characters sign a contract and work at a resort island for spirits. They lose their memory of their names and are given work names instead, but they can regain those and that's the only memory loss.

Historically, lone canon warriors and minor canons have done very well in Forest Covered! The AC is 20 comments every month from at least two different threads.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Rise of the Guardians

Hello everyone! I'm looking for new PSLs for this nerd, David "Dave" Stutler from the movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice (aka another cheesy Disney/Nic Cage movie). Awkward, dorky physics nerd who recently discovered he has magic powers - the heir of Merlin's magic to be exact. His canon is urban fantasy, so he's easy to crossover with those kind of canons (like Supernatural, Buffy or Constantine), but I can roll with anything. I'd kill for Balthazar and of course Becky, but that's almost impossible, so yeah. I'd love to explore his new life as not-so-normal and dealing with both the regular and the magic world. Also open to shipping if the chemsitry works (I can make a note of him breaking up with his canon interest some months after the movie, both m/f and m/m are fine for him). I’m not picky about mediums and I can brainstorm AUs just fine!

I also have:
-Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians. He’s having gen threads just fine in his game, so in his case I’m only looking for two things. One, fellow Guardians and the kids to do some adventure and bonding after the movie. And two, shippy AU stuff with human!Bunny or Hiccup from HTTYD.
-Bianca from the Pokémon games, mostly looking for castmates for pokéfun, but also open to AU or jamjar stuff with crosscanon. Shipping is open to both m/f or f/f as long as they have good chemistry (though if you are a Cheren then that's a 100% yes).

My timezone is GMT-3, and my tagging is kinda slow, one or two tags a day. I can do a bit more on weekends, but I rely 100% on backtagging, I'm searching for a partner who likes making PSLs last. Maybe take a look at The Fleet. It's a sci-fi setting with jam-jar elements and a meta plot.

All of your characters would be wonderful, but we have a good SW cast. And the MCU characters might be a good fit with the setting.
