Oh my God, Mark Watney.

I'd really love to see Watney at thelegion. It's a superhero sci fi RP set in the future of the DC Universe, where the characters have to help out the Legion of Superheroes in their fight against evil until they can find out why they were brought there and how to go home. Along the way they're going to have to fight against some major cosmic threats.

Some details

- on dw and comm-based
- has an overarching plot that involves saving the universe (possibly universes)
- a chance to actually be like Iron Man
- chance to meet people that actually know Iron Man
- Mark with superpowers, imagine it
- at some point they'll probably time travel to the past, so he might be able to ask Aquaman himself about that whole talking to whales thing
- an actual chance to swashbuckle with actual space pirates at some point (we have a plot planned)
- Humanity has successfully colonized Mars. EAT IT, MARS

The only thing that doesn't match your preferences is the game is slow-paced instead of medium, but otherwise, it might be a good fit and Mark would be amazing there.

superpowers for mark is simultaneously the best and worst thing that could ever happen to him, mars can't even hold a fucking candle to it.

not gonna lie, slower games tend to lose my interest because i'd, uh, forget about it, but not always!! a superhero game sounds like a lot of fun. i'll be sure to check it out :)

Sweet! Hopefully, it might be your speed? Generally, I tend to get one tag or more per thread per day from my game-mates and even some boomeranging here and there, so a lot of the speed just has to do with the game's size. Everyone's pretty active but with a smaller playerbase it does mean you can't set up a whole lot of threads to be going on at once.

Anyway, hope to see you there! If not, props for playing him in general, he's a great character. It's just nice to see him around.
