As you saw your homeworld shattering before your eyes, you found a Crystal and you sank into a void. Then, you finally come to your senses in the world of Crystallis, only to be welcomed by Moogles, small and fluffy creatures who will accompany you for the rest of your journey. Indeed, you are told you are a Hero of Light, one of the legendary heroes who once fought the Calamity from the Skies and saved the world! But now, thousands of years later, the recently formed Heran Empire threatens the stability of the world once again, and signs of the impending return of Calamity arise...

Should the Calamity return, not only Crystallis but the entirety of the worlds shall be destroyed. Will you follow the destiny these people have cast unto you, or will you drift away and walk your own path? No matter what the answers is, you will have to pierce the secrets of this world if you want to go home.

melodiesoflife is a plot-driven adventure roleplay featuring an overarching plot, with a few slice of life elements. The game is open to Canon Characters, AUs and OCs!

♦ The roleplay takes place in Crystallis, a world inspired by the Final Fantasy franchise where magic and technology co-exist. No prior knowledge of the Final Fantasy franchise is necessary to play in Melodies of Life! In spite of all the references, the world of Crystallis is an original one.

♦ Upon waking up in Crystallis, characters are all equipped with Jobs: White Mage, Dark Knight, Gunner, etc. They replace what powers they may have once had. Up to two Jobs can be equipped at once and they can be switched regularly.

♦ Characters in Melodies of Life all have their own Moogle! Besides being fluffy and faithful companions, Moogles are those who can switch characters' Jobs.

♦ Mognet is the network in Melodies of Life. It is entirely mail-based and handled by your Moogles. Characters can write a mail and send it to one or many characters: their Moogle will take the mail and make sure everyone receives it within a few hours.

♦ Melodies of Life is a slow game that can grow medium-paced during events. The player base is very backtag friendly and the Activity Check is easy, with a monthly requirement of Seven Log Comments, Fifteen Mognet Comments or a Post (only one of the three).

♦ Applications open on a bi-monthly basis. Reservations will be open from February 22nd to February 29th and Applications will be open from March 01st to March 08th.

Forest Covered is a panfandom slice of life RPG taking a loose base from world mythologies, folklores, and the body of work of Studio Ghibli; particularly Spirited Away.

Existing on another plane of reality are many hundreds of cities catering to the unseen world of spirits. These cities are vast and strange, in many ways familiar, but inhabited mostly by creatures from folklore and myth. Most of them do not actually live in the cities for long, instead passing through them on their way to new places in the human world to call home, or just visiting for a vacation. In fact, the cities are quickly evolving into massive tourist spots, and spirits are just eating it up! Sometimes literally.

Of course, the problem with rapid expansion is the need for more labour. Lesser spirits are numerous, but projecting the image of an exotic getaway calls for something new. That's where you come in.

You aren't the first and you won't be the last taken from outside the spirit realm and put to work here, in the growing city of Koriko. Don't worry, though; the witch that runs the island picked you because you have a debt to pay. Just by working here, she'll absolve your debt and grant you a little favour in return. Just sign your name away and you'll be put to work serving the vacationing spirits.

ten_fwd is a community-based jamjar with a twist game that takes place within the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe. There is an overarching plot that characters are invited to contribute toward: they have been ported to the Enterprise by Q, who has marooned your character in the far future with the TNG crew; however, you are also invited to make your own mischief, and most if not all game plots will be optional.

While the ultimate goal is at first to rein in Q, there's going to be plenty of room for slice-of-life shenanigans and missions to distant planets, with organized quarterly events. ten_fwd is backtagging friendly and runs at a medium-slow pace. ☼ The Far Shore ☽

'Dusk is the border between evening and night time.
People of the living world fear the dark and hide themselves.
People of the land of the dead slip into the darkness and dominate it.
People in the past said that one could meet apparitions at that time…
the time of disasters…'

There is more to this world than what we humans can see. We have glaring blind spots where creatures of the Far Shore lurk.
Often, they are content to let us live our lives peacefully, but there are dark beings among them - the ayakashi.
All bad things that happen in the world can be attributed to the taint of the ayakashi and though the gods fight
to vanquish these negative spirits, there are too many for any real progress to be made.

The gods themselves inhabit the Far Shore as well and stay away from the Near Shore - the world of humans - as much as they can.
However, they hear every wish and they are dedicated to their followers, doing whatever they can to fulfill the prayers
that are brought to them with the help of their divine weapons, the shinki. Shinki are departed souls turned to tools by the gods
themselves, made to serve. While they are similar to the ayakashi, shinki have been given human names, so that they may live
like humans, though not quite as humans.

Many of the gods continue to live simply because there are humans that believe in and pray to them. They are, in every sense, immortal.
Their physical bodies can be killed with great effort, but they will simply reincarnate after their death. Sometimes, the Heavens use
this to their advantage, killing off one incarnation of a god in order to birth a new generation that will be more willing to do
what the leaders of the Heavens want them to do. No one can ever quite grasp what it is that the Heavens are looking to accomplish,
but the general consensus is that they want to keep the peace between the Near and Far Shores.

Lately, though, the Heavens have taken their meddling up a notch. Not only are they executing gods from all over the world,
they are reincarnating those gods using the souls of sentient beings from every possible universe in existence, causing those beings
to be ripped from their homes and forcing them to become gods and confining them to only being able to enter a small portion of the
Near Shore - specifically Japan. Not only that, but in their attempts to bring over 'new' gods, they have dragged too many souls into their world.
These excess souls are being quickly named and turned into shinki which are then gifted and bound to the new gods.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! The old guard has fallen, paving the way for a new era...

In the wake of Malicant's defeat, the kedan have taken back both their identities and the city of Keeliai in the merged Dreaming and Life Planes. The hatchling turtles, the last offspring of their cosmic race, were forced to abandon their home and return to the seas of Konryu, and their exact whereabouts are unknown.

Three major family factions -- the mafia-like Snakes, the reclusive Woodsmen, and the industrious Metalworkers -- have risen to prominence while the Foreigners were absent. They now dominate the city with a power struggle that has spawned new allegiances, new technology, and new threats to be faced. Meanwhile, the other nations of Konryu, no longer united by the threat of Malicant, have turned their eyes to Tu Vishan, looking to take its wealth and resources for themselves.

Moreover, the distinction between the merged Life and Dreaming planes is fading, and with that comes the discovery of strange abilities to conjure -- both intentionally and not -- things into reality. Combined with magical artifacts bestowing unusual powers on those who find them, life on the turtle is anything but tame.

For the Foreigners who remain on Tu Vishan, and those who now find themselves arriving through tears in the fabric of the realms, they must forge a new path for themselves in a world who does not believe it needs them any longer. How will they choose to be involved in writing the new history of Keeliai? Will some take this opportunity to make a niche for themselves in the complicated political arena, or in the secretive black market? Will they make alliances or enemies of the many other nations coming to call?

tushanshu is a community-based panfandom fantasy-themed game
with occasional horror/sci-fi elements. Driven by exploration and plotting
strategy, where character initiative is rewarded, and where in-game actions
can and do have far-reaching and ongoing effects on the world around them.

The distant planet of Amoi is ruled by an elite force who are unreasonably wealthy and are automatically revived from death, essentially immortal. Their laws are enforced by Tanagura's authorities with nearly unbeatable advanced technology. On the other side of the fence, unrest is stirring. The people of Midas are poor and abused and rebels are banding together to respond to injustice with violence. They don't care who they have to kill, what they have to steal, or if they have to die trying. Things are going to change.

Whose side are you on?

The plot is directly interactive and the results of monthly events are determined by IC player actions. IC rewards and consequences include imprisonment, status changes, housing relocation, new tech/powers, torture, and more all earned over the course of one month. NPCs on both sides can be killed, pumped for information or allied with. The whole of Tanagura and Midas are open from the beginning to explore, with new areas fleshed out each month. These areas can be improved on through player-created businesses, destroyed by players during events, or manipulated as characters choose. If you'd rather sit out of the ongoing plot and just enjoy the cross-caste sex, that's welcome too! There are engaging and unique opportunities for both sex and plot introduced each month.

THE CATCH

Characters with blue, green, purple, brunette, or black hair are assigned to Tanagura and given a small fortune of wealth.

Characters with white, silver, red, orange, or blond hair are assigned to Midas and given nothing.

THE GAME CAP

To protect the integrity of the plot and an individual player's ability to affect it, Tanagura is capped at 150 characters. The app round for March is projected to be between 60 and 75 accepted apps, and applications are projected to be closed during April then reopened in May. Players can have a maximum of two characters in the game at any time and can only app one character per app round. There is a cast cap of 6 characters per canon.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

[SMUT] Sex is required to be played out. Smut Activity Check is every other month with IC rewards for double activity.

[GEN] The focus of the plot is the power-play involved as a divided and volatile society collapses on itself. Gen Activity Check is due every month with IC rewards for double activity.

The Test Drive Meme begins on the 3rd of each open application month. It functions as an in-game mini-event, so current players will be tagging in too!

It is an exceedingly normal day at school.

You arrive.

Depending on what sort of student you are; You learn. You nap. You doodle. You do whatever it takes to weather through your morning classes. Even those who would normally skip class are in, but somehow today still seems like just a day.

That is, until you prepare for lunch and instead of scarfing down your homemade bento, you find yourself inhaling a thick gas that sends your vision swimming.

The last thing you recall before blacking out is the sound of heavy foot falls and the strangled coughs of your fellow classmates...

When you regain consciousness, it is unclear how much time has passed. One of the first things you notice is that a sleek, black collar now adorns your neck. It has a red light that flashes periodically, and there is no clear mechanism for its removal. You also find that you are no longer in your homeroom, but instead in a dilapidated classroom. Heavily armed guards, who offer you no explanation, line the doorways and shattered windows of the room. A television in front of the blackboard flips on and a chipper, female voice cuts through the confusion...

The Lottery is a panfandom thriller AU game heavily inspired by the Battle Royale franchise. This game takes place in an alternate history of the world where countries have been forced to start anew in order to cultivate a stable global atmosphere. You will be playing a student at Shiroiwa Academy in this context.

In your application, you will write your character as an eighteen-year-old high school Senior. From there you may build CR and create your own story for your unfortunate student.

The Lottery employs a time loop mechanic which will allow for multiple rounds of The Attribution Study to be played. Each round will have a maximum of one winner. After someone wins, they will be escorted off the island...

Only to black out and wake up in their bed on the morning of March 14, 20XX. The winner will retain all memories from the previous round; though when they get to school they will discover that their classmates have no recollection of what happened.

And at 12:21pm, The Attribution Study will repeat once more.

Each round's winner will be chosen via random generation. Additionally, for each IC day (one week in real time), at least three characters may be randomly selected to die.

It is up to you to control your character, no matter what fate they meet. How do they cope with being assigned to kill their fellow classmates? How do their relationships change? Does nostalgia influence their actions? What is the story that surrounds each student? This is all for you to decide.
