Or: Hi, I play Alma at maisondeportes and clearly he needs some Exorcists to make his life difficult. We're a small but pretty active game with a mix of horror/mystery/adventure with a lot of chances for plot involvement, and our AC is basically "Did you do something this month? Good! Carry on."

xD Hi again! I wish I could but the game play itself doesn't look like something I'd be comfortable with. It looks like logs dependent on others continuing the threads to get anywhere? I'm not sure it's my cuppa.

I would adore a Hiro over at thelegion! It's a panfandom sci-fi superhero jamjar RP set in a thousand years in the future of DC Comics. Characters are pulled into the setting by a mysterious force which also gives them super powers (they're investigating WTF this is, because a majority of the Legion of Superheroes vanished from that very spot a year prior) and the characters have the option to join up and become Legionnaires. There's a specific plot for the game, and it's due to run about 1-2 years.

(Tadashi got fire powers. He's kind of freaked out about this.)

It's in the small-medium size bracket, AC is once every two months (with a check-in at the halfway mark just to say "hey, I'm still here!"), and VERY backtag friendly. It has a good a mix of plot and slice-of-life, but you can focus on either depending on your preferences.

The more I'm looking into it, the more I'm liking it even if it looks like it's rather prose heavy which usually makes me a little bit slower than normal.

It's got a comms system too, so that's also an option for getting your AC stuff done if prose isn't your favorite way to play. One of my other characters has several huge long threads in the comms because she's not all that big on in-person socializing.
