zodion is an 18+ sex-game based on the western zodiac where after four weeks you need to choose someone to have sex in order to help the world grow. sex fuels the world, don't you know? your character will one day magically travel to zodion and they'll be branded with a tattoo of their star sign. the tattoo acts as an 'encouraging' reminder from the twelve, the deities of zodion, to initiate in worship (read: sex). if your character comply within a four-week time frame then the character will be forced to as the tattoo releases an aphrodisiac into their bloodstream. but you don't have to write out the smut if you're uncomfortable with that aspect, and fading-to-black/handwaving is always an option! there's no shaming here! furthermore, zodion has an ongoing plot with slice-of-life aspects that'll be sure to keep you occupied. oh and plus, upon their arrival to z, characters will be given powers based on the elements of their signs so that they aren't completely useless.

zodion is an 18+ community-based game featuring themes from Western Zodiac in the land of... well, Zodion, where you need to have sex once every four weeks in order for the world to grow and develop. Characters are branded with the zodiac sign of their birthday (canon or one chosen by the player in application), and depending on whether they have special powers in their canon or not, they are given those accordingly to their astrological sign, so it's pretty nice if your character canonically doesn't have anything flashy. These powers improve and strengthen the longer you stay in Zodion (and the more sex you have aka 'worship' offering for the gods). Any kind of sexual act counts towards improving the condition of both the world of Zodion and also the special 'power' that your character possesses. If your character passes the three-week mark and into the fourth week, however, the brand will release aphrodisiacs into the body, making it pretty impossible for them to go for too long without doing something about it. Handwaving and fading-to-black are all options for these happenings, and we're always good about backtagging and suchlike! Events are also pretty helpful for getting CR, as they're a mix of plot advancements or sexy adventures.

At the moment the game is on hiatus to transit from livejournal to dreamwidth, but it's expected to open back on the 12th January.
The activity requirements are two options out of: 1 post, 1 log participation, or 15+ comments in a thread.

The Game: sirenspull is a dark war game set in the city of Siren's Port off of the Pacific coast of Canada. It's loosely based off of the Silent Hill games: when night falls, there are haunting sirens that sound to warn the citizens of the coming dark. After dark, the city seems to decay and monsters roam the streets until dawn when another siren announces the safe return of daylight. But even during the day there is crime and other dangers and two major companies at war for control over the Core, the machine that is malfunctioning and responsible for pulling characters into the city. SERO is the company that deals in science and human experimentation and AGI deals in human slavery and entertainment. Overall, the game is highly immersive and moderately paced, and players are not obligated to be involved in big plots, you can play anything you like there. It's a fantastic place with great mods and a wonderful and diverse player-base.

The game: milliways_bar. You know, the bar at the end of the universe. Panfandom, low-stress (like, no ACs low), wacky canon-based shenanigans welcomed in as bar-wide plots.

The caveat: We are about to move to DW. I'm making this post with post-move planning in mind, for great getting ducks in a row. The move itself doesn't have a final date yet. (The mods want to do it ASAP for accessibility concerns, but are waiting for things like the OpenID claiming to be fully sorted. Comm on DW will be milliways_bar.) If you want to test-drive someone to make sure you've got them down, I both recommend and hang out at mixed_muses and panfandomsandbox.

Warehouse 13: We have Claudia and Myka, with promises of HG Wells post-move. (We had an Artie, but he's been dropped; however, I do not know if he'll be retired, meaning he can't be re-apped. For now, I'm not seeking a new one.) We want anyone! Especially Pete and Steve (we're in early S2 for canon reference now, but don't let that stop you; it'd crack me up if Claudia met Steve in the bar well before Mrs. F Surprise Transfers him). Leena would also be made of Win. (NB: If you bring in MacPherson, Claud will kick his ass. And so will Elrond and Alyx Vance. I'm not saying don't, if you're so inclined, but... there's a posse. XD)

The special offer: I want to app Rebecca St. Clair like a mad thing, have for ages, have a journal ready and everything. But she's steadfastly refusing to go anywhere without Jack, and I can't blame her; I want to play through all their shenanigans. (AND POSSIBLY FIX BURNOUT. Seriously.)

Villains By Necessity: I'm mostly adding this because I want to believe someone else has read this book and wants to play in the sandbox a little. I play Cata and Sam; I would love to see any of the rest of the questing party or another recovering victim of whitewashing. (There are other musicians it'd be fun to see Robin bounce off of; Sam insists I put in a good word for Kaylana and Arcie; I adore Blackmail mightily; and Valerie should be around so I have the excuse to use 'welcome to Milliways, please don't eat the patrons' as dialogue.)
Here I will say that if you're interested in Mizzamir, we need to talk first. Partly because I think he'd do better as a plot-and-done character than a regular, and partly because if we don't, my pair of assassins will just kill him. (Again.)

The game: In 2009, Death City, home to the Death Weapon Meister Academy (Shibusen, "Death Military Department," for short), was torn apart by war. Lord Shinigami, the God of Death and headmaster of the school, was killed by the Witch Medusa, leaving a young, inexperienced ruler--his son--responsible for the well-being of the entire world in his stead. In Death City's darkest moment, Death the Kid inadvertantly activated the Demon Tool "BREW" and made a desperate plea:

Rescue Death City and stop the waves of Madness from overtaking the world.

With powers unknown and mysterious to all save the legendary Eibon, creator of "BREW," the Demon Tool summons in strangers from other worlds and effectively traps them--for the "BREW" can only fulfil one wish at a time.

Human, alien, young, old, great, and small, those of us who have been called share only one commonality: the potential to become what Shibusen needs most--heroes with the strength to be "Weapons" or "Meisters." Recognizing this, the Death Weapon Meister Academy takes responsibility for our needs, providing housing, food, and training in our new abilities. It's only fair; after all, this world needs us.

ABOUT THE GAME!

Somarium is a community game on DW. Slow to medium pace that has a slight fast pace during events.

Plot: You wake up and find yourself in a strange place. Perhaps an empty field, a strange building, the middle of the street, a large fountain with a bunny statue on it, or even a lake. Wherever it is, it certainly is not where you last fell asleep. You even got a welcoming gift. It looks like a cellphone. More specifically, it's a Blackberry ripoff Dreamberry that works not only as a phone, but you can also view other people's dreams with them.

...Wait what? Did that say see other people's dreams? And now you're told you're in a dream world with no known exit?

Welcome to Somarium, a strange city that the current denizens will tell you is part of a dream world. It certainly looks like a place that could only have come from a dream. Well, it isn't everyday you find a rustic village surrounded by a modern day city surrounded by a vast, seemingly endless desert at least. So is this someone else's dream, or is Somarium a world of its own?

Good question; wish we could give you an answer. But all hints and clues point to Somarium being part of a special world called Hypnosia.
