SYSTEMWIDE is a panfandom science fiction and action/adventure game, based on the premise of The Matrix movies. Set within the same universe, but in a far flung future, the game takes place in the underground cities mankind has claimed for itself in the ongoing fall out of a war between human and machine. Game play also features the Matrix, a virtual reality that hosts a myriad of worlds, all taken from the canons of apped characters.

Characters have been or will be pulled from the lives they once knew to be real to participate in the survival of humankind, defending against the ever present threat of the machines. There will be war-like elements, smaller skirmishes, training and missions, and of course, the day to day living in the wrecked dystopia that they now have no choice but to call home.

and some truth in your fiction

The distant planet Amoi is ruled by The City Council, a group of elites who are unreasonably wealthy and are automatically revived from death, essentially making them immortal. Their law is enforced by elite authorities with technology to stop even a god in its holy tracks. On the other side of the fence, unrest is stirring. The mongrel people are poor and abused, and rebels are banding together to respond to injustice with violence. They don't care who they have to kill, what they have to steal, or if they have to die trying. Things are going to change.

Whose side are you on?

The plot is highly interactive, and the results of monthly events are determined by IC player decisions and actions. NPCs on both sides can be killed, pumped for information, or rallied with. The whole of Tanagura and Midas are open from the beginning to explore, but new areas within it are fleshed out each month, making the world even more expansive. These areas can be improved on, destroyed, or manipulated as characters choose through events. If you'd rather sit out of the ongoing plot and just enjoy the cross-caste sex, that's welcome too, and there are plenty of engaging and different opportunities for it introduced each month.

THE CATCH

Characters with white, silver, red, orange, or blond hair are assigned to Tanagura, considered elites, and given a small fortune of wealth.

Characters with blue, green, purple, brunette, or black hair are assigned to Midas, considered mongrels, and given nothing.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

[SMUT] Sex is required. Smut Activity Check is every other month with IC rewards for double activity.

[GEN] The focus of the plot is the power-play involved as a volatile society collapses on itself. Gen Activity Check is due every month with IC rewards for double activity.

GAME CALENDAR

Reserves are always open.

The Test Drive Meme begins on the 3rd of each month.

You don't know it yet, but somebody has broken this world and hidden it from you — hidden the death of everything around you, covered the world up with lies and pretty memories, cut away the destruction they accidentally inflicted and tried to deny. But they couldn't turn their eyes from the truth forever, and in the end, reality made itself felt: the world has already rotted away at its core. You were living amidst the decay all along — you just never realized it until now. But how could you have missed something so obvious?

Because you didn't believe it was real.

Carvaka is a sex game with a survival/adventure style and an ongoing metaplot.
Characters are not transported to the setting, but wake up to familiar surroundings. Familiar, but decaying and ruined, as if no one has been around them in years. This is the true state of their home, and accepting or not, they're the only ones who can fix things.
