The Fleet

Welcome to the Omwi Fleet.
The Owmi, a spacefaring, nomadic civilization, have been traveling the stars for over a thousand years. That whole time, they have been searching for the remnants of their lost people, the Ibere. When their ancient society fractured long ago, the Owmi received a prophecy that said they would "find them". So far, the Owmi have been unsuccessful; but under the divine direction of their Orakalla, they press on searching the vast expanses between the stars. For belief is a powerful motivator.

However one day the unexpected happened. Stopping to refuel and gather supplies in a non-discript and uninhabited solar system, the Orakalla flared to life and declared, "They are coming," and then fell silent once again.

This caused quite the stir among the Owmi, for this surely meant they would at last be reunited with their lost people.

But, that is not what happened.

Strange people started to appear at the base of the Orakalla, strange people who were not Owmi or Ibere. Strange people who were not from this universe.

The Fleet is a pan-fandom game open to Canon, OC, and (some) AU characters from all fandoms. It takes place in space where the setting is mostly a fleet of ships (a mix of military ships and civilian ships that all have various purposes) with the fleet often stopping at new locations. It will incorporate jam-jar, slice-of-life elements with a non-mandatory metaplot that will involve mystery, intrigue, and maybe even space battles. The game will also involve mod-driven plots and player-driven plots. We are smut-friendly, but not smut-centric. The game environment is conducive to non-human characters and kid characters.

Through some means, your character has met an untimely end. However, their death does not mean the end of their story. If someone dies with regrets, then they might end up in Glie, a city walled off from the rest of the world. Here they are given the chance to right what was wrong, to finish that one unfinished task, to become satisfied with their lives. The catch? They don't remember their past life at all, and there is a pretty strict time limit they have to follow. Haibane Renmei is a slice-of-life game loosely based off of the anime by the same name. All characters are apped in as Haibane, a group of winged humans that resemble angels. Upon entry, all characters are given a trial they must complete, which will help them grow, develop, and become better people. If they can finish this trial, then they will move on to the next life. If not...well, it's best not to think of that. Haibane Renmei is a game about character development. While there will be big events, the majority of the game is about developing your character and helping them overcome a problem or flaw. Most of the events will be based around helping characters to complete their trial and earn their way out of the city of Glie. To help with overcoming their trial, characters will gradually regain memories of their past life. But the most important part of life in Glie is making friends and learning how to rely on them. Only through friendship and strong bonds can the characters complete their task and be reborn. Apps close at 11:59 pm EST on December 20th for the start of the game, and will reopen in early January.

When the operators of [REDACTED] hit the ‘on’ switch for the first time in a century, things don’t go exactly as planned. Namely, you weren’t supposed to happen.

But here you are. An interloper from another world, dumped into this one with nothing but the clothes on your back….and just about anything else you were touching that wasn't nailed down. Problem is, interdimensional transportation isn't cheap; and in a world with limited resources, you just used up an awful lotof resources. Given that you're essentially an unwelcome immigrant, who just used a very expensive mode of travel, something will have to be done with you. A bill, for one. Your one way ticket on a transdimensional express has cost you about 1,000,000 universal credits.

Thankfully, there's plenty of work being offered to you...if you don't mind a little dangerous portal hopping. The people here are willing to put you up for room and board too, so long as you are working to pay off your debts. It might be a little cramped, and there might be no windows...but considering you can't breath the air outside and the gravity would probably rip you apart in a microsecond, you might want to get comfortable.

But there's something wrong with the world you've stumbled into...and it's more than just the economy. Time flows funny, physics don't always work, and sometimes the walls seem a little thin, if you catch the drift. The consequences of interdimensional travel might be a little steeper than just airfare. You might not want to stay here for any longer than you have to.

And you're welcome to ask about your predecessors but...do you really want to know? After all, you've got a job to do.

You don't know it yet, but somebody has broken this world and hidden it from you — hidden the death of everything around you, covered the world up with lies and pretty memories, cut away the destruction they accidentally inflicted and tried to deny. But they couldn't turn their eyes from the truth forever, and in the end, reality made itself felt: the world has already rotted away at its core. You were living amidst the decay all along — you just never realized it until now. But how could you have missed something so obvious?

Because you didn't believe it was real.

Carvaka is a sex game with a survival/adventure style and an ongoing metaplot. Characters are not transported to the setting, but wake up to familiar surroundings. Familiar, but decaying and ruined, as if no one has been around them in years. This is the true state of their home, and accepting or not, they're the only ones who can fix things.

Or, at least, you think you did. That would make sense, since that's what you are now. You're a star. But in truth, everything past a few months ago is a big blur. You remember this planet, these people, but the memories are empty of all connection. The band, the music, is your life now - and as far as you can recall, that's how it's always been.

What you don't remember is that you're not from here. What you don't know is that music has power. What you'd never guess is that you were stolen from your old life by aliens, and have been brainwashed into spending your days rocking hard on stage while never questioning a thing.

Interstellar show business: it's tough.

No matter your story, the resistance arrives at your door before you've even had the chance to feel the full weight of your loss. Interstellar is the panfandom roleplaying game inspired by Interstella 5555, where characters of the multiverse have been kidnapped and brainwashed into being rockstars by the interdimensional beings that also happen to own their record labels.

One half memory loss and one half open world mission game, Interstellar has a defined plot arc that comes in two parts: the struggle of musical abductees trying to find themselves, and then the journey of the friends, cast mates, and altruistic souls that come to save them from their tyrannical alien managers. It is expected to run for 8-10 months.

The first rescuer apps will be available in January 2016.

There's the London we all know.

And then there's the Underground. The real Underground, a secret world of supernatural forces and strange creatures that walk the city streets hidden in plain sight. Witches, vampires, werewolves. Shapeshifters and humans with extraordinary powers. Ghosts. And the Other Realm, where the fae dwell, and where magic leaks out into every corner of the city.

While the parties of Westminster fight their political battles, there is another much more dangerous power struggle going on. It's a battle for territory, and it is fought by the various supernatural factions that claim dominion over the city.

About the Game
The Underground is an alternate universe (AU) game set in a supernatural version of modern-day London. The game is a mix of urban fantasy and supernatural drama, with slice-of-life elements and political intrigue.

Welcome, Fellow Traveler! The elevator pitch: Exiles meets Diana Wynne Jones’ Homeward Bounders. If you’re familiar with Sliders or Quantum Leap, there’s a bit of that too.

Synodiporia is an AU-hopping panfandom exploration game where ‘event’ and ‘setting’ are one and the same. Unknown entities have gathered a group of people from across the multi-verse, and sent them on a long, strange journey together, crashing into one world after another, meddling in local affairs, and then whisking them off again. In each world some of the travelers are ‘investigators,’ conscious of the fact that they’re new arrivals in a foreign dimension, and some are ‘infiltrators,’ believing themselves to be natives, immersed in local customs, with implanted memories of a life that never was.

As the travelers progress from world to world, they learn new skills - from the natives or from one another. In prohibition-era Brooklyn, gangsters might teach someone how to shoot a tommy gun. In a fantasy kingdom, you might pick up a little wizardry. A PC from the Persona franchise might teach you how to unlock your own Persona, no matter what canon you’re from. You can also learn to manipulate the psychic network linking everyone together, gaining telepathic or dimensional manipulation abilities. As you change the worlds, the worlds change you.

We accept all original characters as well as alternate universe and previous game versions of characters, and under certain conditions, we also can accept multiple versions of the same character. When you apply, your character can be new to Traveling, or a veteran who’s been doing this for quite some time. More information about veteran Travelers can be found on the Previous Universes & Acquiring Skills pages, as well as suggestions for introing a veteran character here.

Besides that, there will be additional mini-events in pocket universes, player plots, dream explorations, Shadow Selves… and the ongoing investigation into the mysterious forces that drew you here. You’re pawns in a game spanning time and space, but a pawn who advances far enough can make big changes, and there are plenty of secrets to uncover.

Applications are open from December 18th-31st. We are currently between Jaunts, and getting ready for a Space Opera Jaunt! We hope to see you there!

Characters will encounter the child god, Zephyr, face-to-face, help them learn, grow, and shape them into a full-fledged god. Zephyr has a name and a form, but they still have much left to figure out about themselves with the help of the characters they bring in. There are also several other gods who occasionally look in on the Meadous and have a tendency to meddle.

Mod-run events occur roughly once a month and range from silly (e.g., a kite flying festival) to serious and dangerous (e.g., gods tampering with the negative emotions of characters).

Will your character come to accept the Meadous as their new home? Or perhaps try to find some means of escape? Or maybe they'll take advantage of the wishing pond. Zephyr can grant many desires, healing characters from their previous games, restoring magic and items, and much more.

Through some means, your character has met an untimely end. However, their death does not mean the end of their story. If someone dies with regrets, then they might end up in Glie, a city walled off from the rest of the world. Here they are given the chance to right what was wrong, to finish that one unfinished task, to become satisfied with their lives. The catch? They don't remember their past life at all, and there is a pretty strict time limit they have to follow. Haibane Renmei is a slice-of-life game loosely based off of the anime by the same name. All characters are apped in as Haibane, a group of winged humans that resemble angels. Upon entry, all characters are given a trial they must complete, which will help them grow, develop, and become better people. If they can finish this trial, then they will move on to the next life. If not...well, it's best not to think of that. Haibane Renmei is a game about character development. While there will be big events, the majority of the game is about developing your character and helping them overcome a problem or flaw. Most of the events will be based around helping characters to complete their trial and earn their way out of the city of Glie. To help with overcoming their trial, characters will gradually regain memories of their past life. But the most important part of life in Glie is making friends and learning how to rely on them. Only through friendship and strong bonds can the characters complete their task and be reborn. Apps close at 11:59 pm EST on December 20th for the start of the game, and will reopen in early January.

You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Through the fog you can see shadows of movement, the muted sound of alarms crying. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're suddenly dropped several feet onto the opposite wall.

It's a rude awakening.

You barely have time to catch your breath in the chaos around you. The sirens of alarms are shrieking in your ears, drowning out the cries of confusion from the people awakening around you, trapped in their gravity couches or stumbling through the wreckage. Through the dim red barely illuminating the destruction of this once pristine medical bay, you catch a glimpse of bright light; a huge rend in the outer wall high above you, overhung by broken structural beams and damaged cabling.

Climbing up takes all the strength you have.

You emerge in bright sunlight, surrounded by an immense jungle. As your vision clears, you realize you stand on the hull of a colossal spaceship, crashed on an alien world. There's a shout behind you, and as you turn, figures climb over the curve of the ship towards you. A hand is extended to you, dirt smeared, calloused and scarred by the efforts necessary for survival.

This is your rescue party.

ATARAXION PLANETFALL is a panfandom science-fiction/horror RPG set on an unknown planet in the aftermath of the spaceship Tranquility crashing on the surface. Welcome, Fellow Traveler! The elevator pitch: Exiles meets Diana Wynne Jones’ Homeward Bounders. If you’re familiar with Sliders or Quantum Leap, there’s a bit of that too.

Synodiporia is an AU-hopping panfandom exploration game where ‘event’ and ‘setting’ are one and the same. Unknown entities have gathered a group of people from across the multi-verse, and sent them on a long, strange journey together, crashing into one world after another, meddling in local affairs, and then whisking them off again. In each world some of the travelers are ‘investigators,’ conscious of the fact that they’re new arrivals in a foreign dimension, and some are ‘infiltrators,’ believing themselves to be natives, immersed in local customs, with implanted memories of a life that never was.

As the travelers progress from world to world, they learn new skills - from the natives or from one another. In prohibition-era Brooklyn, gangsters might teach someone how to shoot a tommy gun. In a fantasy kingdom, you might pick up a little wizardry. A PC from the Persona franchise might teach you how to unlock your own Persona, no matter what canon you’re from. You can also learn to manipulate the psychic network linking everyone together, gaining telepathic or dimensional manipulation abilities. As you change the worlds, the worlds change you.

We accept all original characters as well as alternate universe and previous game versions of characters, and under certain conditions, we also can accept multiple versions of the same character. When you apply, your character can be new to Traveling, or a veteran who’s been doing this for quite some time. More information about veteran Travelers can be found on the Previous Universes & Acquiring Skills pages, as well as suggestions for introing a veteran character here.

Besides that, there will be additional mini-events in pocket universes, player plots, dream explorations, Shadow Selves… and the ongoing investigation into the mysterious forces that drew you here. You’re pawns in a game spanning time and space, but a pawn who advances far enough can make big changes, and there are plenty of secrets to uncover.

Applications are open from December 18th-31st. We are currently between Jaunts, and getting ready for a Space Opera Jaunt! We hope to see you there!

We have a cap of 100 characters, however we currently have about 74 characters, so we have plenty of room for new faces! We do not currently have reserves, but we highly recommend if you are interested in applying to post to the current test drive and get to know some of our current characters.

Indeed, you are told you are a Hero of Light, one of the legendary heroes who once fought the Calamity from the Skies and saved the world! But now, thousands of years later, the recently formed Heran Empire threatens the stability of the world once again, and signs of the impending return of Calamity arise...

Should the Calamity return, not only Crystallis but the entirety of the worlds shall be destroyed. ♦ melodiesoflife is a plot-driven adventure roleplay featuring an overarching plot, with a few slice of life elements. The game is open to Canon Characters, AUs and OCs!

♦ The roleplay takes place in Crystallis, a world inspired by the Final Fantasy franchise where magic and technology co-exist. No prior knowledge of the Final Fantasy franchise is necessary to play in Melodies of Life! In spite of all the references, the world of Crystallis is an original one.

♦ Upon waking up in Crystallis, characters are all equipped with Jobs: White Mage, Dark Knight, Gunner, etc. They replace what powers they may have once had. Up to two Jobs can be equipped at once and they can be switched regularly.

♦ Characters in Melodies of Life all have their own Moogle! Besides being fluffy and faithful companions, Moogles are those who can switch characters' Jobs.

♦ Mognet is the network in Melodies of Life. It is entirely mail-based and handled by your Moogles. Characters can write a mail and send it to one or many characters: their Moogle will take the mail and make sure everyone receives it within a few hours.

♦ Melodies of Life is a slow game that can grow medium-paced during events. The player base is very backtag friendly and the Activity Check is easy, with a monthly requirement of Seven Log Comments, Fifteen Mognet Comments or a Post (only one of the three).

Empatheias is a large, floating island and is the last remnant of a destroyed world. Its only city, Verens, is a somewhat strange place with its steampunk design and magitech technology. No two buildings ever seem to look the same, but perhaps it's not just because of the nature of its fashion. Emotions also help to change and sometimes warp the city and the island itself. Through these emotions, the island continues to grow, revealing more about what happened to the world below. These emotions can also play a role in much smaller ways. A simple laugh can illuminate a room, an angry outburst can shatter windows. The grass can both grow and wither depending on who is standing on it.

These emotions are collected in special crystal amulets and it is this amulet that you will rely on throughout your stay. As you meet and interact with people, explore the world, and go about your daily life, it will fill with the various emotions you experience. Keep it close, for it may prove to be the key to returning home.

However, there's more to this world than meets the eye. With the appearance of giant, powerful, mythical beings called the Arehtei, it would appear that while the floating island is thriving, the rest of the world is in its death throes. Something tragic happened eight hundred years ago, a mystery that no one remembers but are determined to solve. It would seem that the path home may prove more difficult than anticipated, and may require some "emotional aid" on your part. Perhaps this is the very reason why you were brought here to begin with.

But there are too many unanswered questions, and with each one that is answered, more arise. The only clues you have are tied to your emotions—emotions strong enough to shake the very foundations of this world.

So keep an eye on how you and others feel. Who knows what will be revealed next?

UPDATE: A new city, Shaarnath has been revealed to exist and somehow managing to survive on the world proper. Followers of the Arehtei of bravery and fear, Thras, they have begun teaching the ways of dunamis, the ability to control and wield one's emotions like magic. With Shaarnath comes more information and clues that will reveal more of the world's tragic past. Are there more civilizations hidden down there? Only time will tell.


Empatheias is a panfandom role-playing game where characters can affect their environment through their emotions, CR, and other discoveries they make. It has a mixture of slice-of-life and adventure with a focus on character relationships and development. Forest Covered is a panfandom slice of life RPG taking a loose base from world mythologies, folklores, and the body of work of Studio Ghibli; particularly Spirited Away.

Existing on another plane of reality are many hundreds of cities catering to the unseen world of spirits. These cities are vast and strange, in many ways familiar, but inhabited mostly by creatures from folklore and myth. Most of them do not actually live in the cities for long, instead passing through them on their way to new places in the human world to call home, or just visiting for a vacation. In fact, the cities are quickly evolving into massive tourist spots, and spirits are just eating it up! Sometimes literally.

Of course, the problem with rapid expansion is the need for more labour. Lesser spirits are numerous, but projecting the image of an exotic getaway calls for something new. That's where you come in.

You aren't the first and you won't be the last taken from outside the spirit realm and put to work here, in the growing city of Koriko. Don't worry, though; the witch that runs the island picked you because you have a debt to pay. Just by working here, she'll absolve your debt and grant you a little favour in return. Just sign your name away and you'll be put to work serving the vacationing spirits.

Their laws are enforced by Tanagura's authorities with nearly unbeatable advanced technology. On the other side of the fence, unrest is stirring. The people of Midas are poor and abused and rebels are banding together to respond to injustice with violence. They don't care who they have to kill, what they have to steal, or if they have to die trying. Things are going to change.

Whose side are you on?

The plot is directly interactive and the results of monthly events are determined by IC player actions. IC rewards and consequences include imprisonment, status changes, housing relocation, new tech/powers, torture, and more all earned over the course of one month. NPCs on both sides can be killed, pumped for information or allied with. The whole of Tanagura and Midas are open from the beginning to explore, with new areas fleshed out each month. These areas can be improved on through player-created businesses, destroyed by players during events, or manipulated as characters choose. If you'd rather sit out of the ongoing plot and just enjoy the cross-caste sex, that's welcome too! There are engaging and unique opportunities for both sex and plot introduced each month.



THE CATCH


• Characters with blue, green, purple, brunette, or black hair are assigned to Tanagura and given a small fortune of wealth.


• Characters with white, silver, red, orange, or blond hair are assigned to Midas and given nothing.



THE GAME CAP


• To protect the integrity of the plot and an individual player's ability to affect it, Tanagura is capped at 150 characters. The app round for January is projected to be between 60 - 70 accepted apps, and applications are projected to be closed during February and March then reopened in April. Players can have a maximum of two characters in the game at any time and can only app one character per app round. There is a cast cap of 6 characters per canon.
