Temeraire Series @ Soul Campaign

Hello!

I'm here to talk about two things. First, is the fact that I currently play Temeraire over in a pretty great RPG called soul_campaign and while it is all awesome and thirty sorts of fun, I still feel like something's missing.

Soul Campaign is set in the Soul Eater-verse, and you can see the premise of the game right here in the profile page (http://soul-campaign.livejournal.com/profile). However, I can say that due to that, every character that goes into the game is either a Meister or a Weapon, where the Meister forms a partnership with his or her chosen weapon.

That is where the second thing comes in: I am in need of canon-mates for Temeraire [who in this game, is a weapon himself].

There are many characters, but here is a short list of them so you can consider them:

From the human characters: William Laurence, Captain John Granby, Captain Harcourt, Captain [or if by book 5, Admiral] Jane Roland, or the dragon surgeons Keynes and Dorset would be awesome as well.

From the dragon characters: Iskierka [that would be the best just for the lulz, I mean COME ON~], Maximus, Lily, Perscitia, Volatilus, any of the Pen Y Fan dragons really; hell I would probably not even mind a Lung Tien Lien, even if they might have a good deal of rancor toward each other, but that would just mean a good deal of potential character growth between the two of them.

If you love Guilty Gear, if you're the type that spends god-knows how many hours on Dustloop looking up all the info on your sunshine bear as you can and rewatch youtube videos of your favorite characters over and over like us... you'll be fine. TOO LONG DIDN'T READ: More Guilty Gear players would be awesome. Chipp probably needs a Baiken and Anji to slap him around. If you want to play Hard Mode, try Erica Bartholomew. That shit would be super awesome. I'd love to see Venom try to work with people he normally couldn't stand, like Ky, Potemkin, or Millia Fucking Goddamn It Rage. You want Venom-Hard Mode (ahahhaha), try Zato-1 or Eddie.

Backtagging is always accepted, too, and just about everyone runs on it at least in part. We'll be a bit slower for NaNaWriMo, but this always happens. I promise we're friendly, too! DIGILIFE: A post-Digimon Adventure 02 game

It's been nine years since the fall of Belial Vamdemon, and peace graced the Digital World during this time. The children grew up and are in college. Life goes on as usual, with little to disturb the peace.

However, still waters run deep. Even as an unprecedented period of peace continued in the Digital World, darker forces worked in the shadows. The darkness is becoming restless and it yearns to call its children back. Somewhere in this darkness, where grey sands cling to the skin and aquatic decay clings to the throat, an eldrich horror bides his time.

And he's not the only one out there.

digilife is a real world-based post-Digimon Adventure/02 game. We're small, slow-paced, journal-based, realism-oriented, slice of life with a side dish of plot, and totally happy to help work out pre-existing CR that might have happened in the nine years since canon.

In particular we are after Koushirou, Jyou, Yamato, and the digimon! (Koushirou and Jyou players must be willing to put in the research for their specialized subjects.) We are also always up for the international Chosen of Digimon World Tour, the Dark Spore children, the Chosen's family members, the D-1 Tamers, and the Teenage Wolves, whom you are welcome to supply backgrounds and personalities for.

is a journal-based, medium-paced panfandom roleplay in a post-apocalyptic setting. Events, which range anywhere from body horror to excessive apples everywhere, are usually once every two weeks and controlled by the malevolent spirits in the center of the city. AC just underwent a revamp just in time for November, so meeting the activity requirements is easier than ever, requiring just a log or post and a 20 comment thread. I've played at this game for over two years and the magic still hasn't worn off- you will never find better muns and people more willing to plan and plot with you!

The Basics:

The Game
Mostly Harmless, main comm gargleblasted is a game based on Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (not so much that you have to have read/seen it to understand). Your character finds themselves aboard the SS Thor, a ship saving refugees who find themselves without worlds because they've been destroyed in weird and whacky ways. They have basic (very basic) accommodation and little money to start with but can improve their situation through a range of weird and whacky missions, many tying into the different planets the ship visits. Just watch out when it's time to travel - weird things have been known to happen when the Drive kicks in.

AC is fairly reasonable and flexible for those who prefer to thread rather than post - requirements are here (http://mostly-ooc.livejournal.com/278753.html) but for November only one post is needed.

Applications are set to be frozen after Friday 11th November (to be processed on the 12th); reservations are now closed but there's still time to app if you wish.

The Game
entranceway is set in a mansion known only as Wonderland which appears to feed on the memories of those it traps within its grounds. The mansion does its best to make everyone comfortable - rooms adapt as you need them, closets provide almost anything you could ask for (and there are vendors for the things they can't) and the dining room and tea rooms provide you with food and snacks just by willing them.

At the same time, however, Wonderland is drawing on everyone's memories and creates events based on these memories. These can range from the fun - everyone is suddenly RPing as themselves, everyone's turned into fish - to the downright terrifying where mansion residents are actually pit against each other in a kill or be killed scenario. And all the while, there are mirror selves, those who look like those brought in but who are markedly different personality-wise

Premise:

Fan of Dragon Age/Awakenings/Dragon Age 2? Come play in thedasdressing! It's a dressing room comm, which means anything goes, and we do mean anything. We regularly have both serious and crack-filled posts. Action can happen, character-building and interaction can happen, smut can happen, whatever you want can be made to happen! If there's a particular plot you want to do, put up a post in our ooc comm outofarmor and ask, and someone will certainly be willing to take part, whether it's a one-on-one thing or a big group quest. Since it's a dressingroom comm, how involved you want to be is up to you; slow taggers are welcome to keep it slow and rabid addicts will find other rabid addicts to keep them company.

We have many players with many puppets and always want more! Seriously, we want everybody, even if we already have them. The Hawkes want more Hawkes so they can form a support group for Coping With Kirkwall, the Wardens want more Wardens for going on darkspawn-slaying expeditions, Alistair actually doesn't want more Alistairs around because then there'd be less cheese for him but please ignore that, we want everyone. Especially Isabela, Aveline, Merrill, and Shale, because we don't have anyone playing those! Also more Zevran, Morrigan, Sten, Fenris, any secondary characters (TEEEEEGAN, WHO EES THEES WOMAN TEEEEEGAN), we want 'em all and as many of 'em as possible!

In addition to random posts we also often have memes and events, the most recent of which was the Face Your Fears Event, which saw everything from the Archdemon's rebirth to Varric going blind to Flemeth running out of tea.

Mostly Harmless is a panfandom community based game with a large playerbase, and is best described as a "sandbox" type game - anything goes! You want serious? Have some srs. You want cracky? We've got lots of that, too. Player driven plots are welcome and encouraged, and the game runs anywhere from medium to fast-paced, though it's easy to catch up with what's been going on even if you don't look at the comms for a couple of days. That being said, we would love, love, love to expand our Marvel cast!

As it stands, we HAVE: Loki Laufeyson (this guy obviously), Thor Odinson, Wolverine, Erik Lehnsherr, and a potential Charles Xavier on the way, all from the movies. We also have a wonderful Victor Mancha from 616-verse!

We WANT: ANYONE. That's right, absolutely anyone that we don't already have! Whether the character is from the comics universe, movies, or animated television series- absolutely all are welcome! We even welcome alternate versions of already existing character. So if you see a movieverse character and would like to app in a 616 muse, too, then that is not an issue, provided you speak with the mun already in game first!

[Bad username or site: medtech_roomies / @ livejournal.com] is sort of like musebox meets dressing room. The setting is mainly an appartment complex where your muses can choose to live if they end up in 'The Complex'. Though it's far from the ONLY setting as the Complex is only one part of the world resides in. And parts are constantly changing, new bits are always being added. The only limit is your imagination. We hold events as often as they come to us and encourage other players to add their own events as well. There is no application and no activity checks. Your free to come and go as you like. (Though if you intend to be a regular, we WOULD appreciat a notice if you leave for good. It's still not required--just a little courtesy to those your playing with.) Also, because of the setting, even if a character is already taken, your free to take them on. Though we would like to see a larger variety around. We welcome canon and AU and even crack characters as well as OC's. Our doors are open to pretty much any character you may have.

We ask that you please read the rules in the comm's info. There aren't many, mostly just common sense things like playing nice. But you should still read them, just to be on the safe side.

Some experiments are silly, some pit your character against their greatest fears, and others are...well, quite deadly.

adstringendum is a medium-paced panfandom game that focuses on journal interactions, but also has a place for community activity as well. It's set in a man-made dimension that's been taking things, not just people, from all sorts of universes. So... It looks pretty post-apocalypticy.

Community wise, I've found it to be one of the most welcoming and friendly groups of players. AC is relatively easy, only requiring two pieces every month. The method's actually been in the works of changing, so you can see that here!
