The grand parlor looms in front of you, windows grimy and dimmed with dust. A sense of age hangs around you. A heavy door stands behind you, obviously not the way you came in. It's solid and unmovable when tested, locked tight.

Leaving proves impossible. Just surviving will take up much of your attention. The people around you have no more clue than you, but you will need to depend on them now. The day stands ahead of you--time to prepare, perhaps, but night is a constant threat.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose, though we now have an IC audio function that allows for limited action tags, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! We accept OCs and AUs as well as canon characters.

We'll be moving to Dreamwidth at the end of the month.

<3!!!! I was totally shocked to see someone actually playing a Shadow out there in RP-land. And I've been thinking of playing Raven somewhere soon anyway.

XD I'd been tempted to try one of the Organoids out for awhile and decided to go with Shadow totally on a whim, and now I'm loving him. He'd love to have Raven around, only because everything is very strange without Master...

Also people can finally learn his name sob. Not being able to talk lands you with nicknames.

Having Shadow around would completely change how I get to play Raven. If I were to app him somewhere without Shadow, he'd probably break down really quickly. He doesn't know how much he needs Shadow until Shadow is gone.

So this will be awesome. <3

I'm thinking of taking Raven from just before Reese restores his memories. So he's still angry-crazy.

Aww, poor thing >: Shadow will be all the good! Although Raven may have to get used to the tiny girl-thing that is Nina, Shadow's kind of adopted her XD

Yussss. And yay angry-crazy Raven. Just the way Shadow remembers him. Shadow's from just before his death at the hands of the Death Stinger.

Finally uploading a few Raven icons now... I have a lot of Shadow icons if you need any. I went on a crazy Zoid-iconing spree awhile ago.

Uh oh. XD We'll see how that works out. If she's no threat, at least Raven probably won't be screaming at her.

She is definitely not a threat! Shadow kind of likes her. She makes more sense than adults do.

Pets adopting pets... Raven will be so confused since he'll probably just assume Shadow arrived at the same time he did.

Random question of curiosity, do you have Shadow growl like in the dub or does he do the weird metallic noises like in the Japanese version?

Aww, poor thing. Nina can explain! Shadow has decided she's good at that.

I've only seen the dub, so he growls and makes that hum/murmur thing that you usually hear Zeke making.

I still need to read more of the premise of this RP. (I got way too excited to see RARE CASTMATE.) But I'm sure I'll be able to have fun anyway, survival-horror type RP sounds interesting.
