The world is covered entirely by water. It wasn't always that way. Originally, roughly half of the planet's surface was land. Of course, the planet also used to have polar ice caps and a moon without a huge hole blown through it...

Massive city-ships and smaller outlying settlements on the water have become the harbor of remaining humanity here and these places are not often kind to the meek; the storms are vicious, the water is constant and can be both friend and foe, and radiation, poison, and genetic manipulations leftover from ancient times have created very real beasts of myth that lurk in unexplored waters. Gigantic birds large enough to eat whales, 50 foot sea serpents, and tentacled monstrosities that drag men into the depths are all very real dangers that the citizens - and your characters - may face.

Characters arriving can explore the ruins of ancient underwater cities, gather technology from the wrecked civilizations, make a home in the capitol, go further out to a smaller settlement, or go and experience a whole world of high seas adventure!

Great Blue Sea is a panfandom action/adventure game, with a focus on worldbuilding, exploration, and some slice of life elements.
