Dragon Haven

Dragon Haven is a pan-fandom, small-sized, comm-based game. It's an infinite world crafted by dragons, tasked with maintaining life and death. All characters that enter do so on dragon-back, rescued from a hostile world to the havens they've created. Once inside the havens, though, anything goes. Villains may be brought in by the playful and curious dragons, while others may cause the world to transform in...interesting ways.

After meeting an activity requirement, players are also allowed (and encouraged!) to apply for pieces of their worlds to be brought in by the dragons as well. They do love pleasing the community they've begun to create, so plot suggestions are also encouraged.

Super Robot Wars Unlimited Generation Alpha is a mecha based game. It's pretty awesome. I have two characters that would love castmates:

-For Battletech, a semi-OC (fleshing out the Heroic Mime you control in one of the Mechwarrior 2 campaigns). Ranna Kerensky is on the way. Any other castmates would be nice too, especially Phelan Kell, Vlad Ward, Natasha Kerensky or any other Wolves.

-For Mortal Engines, Dr Oenone Zero. Anyone's dandy, but especially Grike/Shrike, Stalker Fang or a Lost Boy

While it's on LJ, don't let that dissuade you. A full workaround for the changes was implimented.

zodion is an 18+ sex game based loosely on the western Zodiac. Characters are transported there as with pretty much every game to be told that the Gods require them to worship - without specifying that worship, of course, means "nail other people". Failing to do so will eventually mean that via the zodiac tattoos branded on them upon arrival will force them to via aphro. Zodion is very backtag friendly and not at all pushy about forcing people to play out anything they're not comfortable with, and contains a lot of opportunity for world-building, plotting, and character development beyond just putting things in places!

The first is gargleblasted, a panfandom game that takes place on a spaceship! It's good for slice of life, crack and srsbznss - whatever you want, you can typically get! We currently have a wonderful Luffy, Franky & Ace in addition to my Usopp and would love to see more of you around. Thousands of years in the future, Earth's civilization has ceased to exist. It has left traces, however, enough for an alien intelligence from a few galaxies away to gather it together, study, and assemble something of a history. This study, this story is based on the most enduring thing humanity created: fiction.

Not content with merely piecing the the tale together, the intelligence decided to try and recreate it.

After years of development and disaster, these aliens created the city of Taxon, a home for as close an approximation to life from Earth as they can manage. Placed safely in a large cavern on the inside of an abandoned moon, the project is a blend of archaeology and highly advanced programming. With a few lines of code, buildings are built or restored. Plants can grow. Lives can be created. It's not a perfect or exact science; things go wrong often as the intelligence adjusts its methods and adapts new data.

Even so, most days it can be idyllic. Great care has been taken to make sure the citizens can fully enjoy every possible comfort of home. This is their home, after all...

We run at a medium pace in spite of our huge size, the AC is bimonthly with 30 comments a month, and we're backtag-friendly! Your character now has wings on her back and has been captured by a bunch of jerks called the Malnosso. While parts of it may be slice of life scenarios, there are still challenges to overcome such as with the Malnosso and the Third Party Cult, in missions, drafts, and when things hit the fan.

luceti is a panfandom, journal-based game, also known as that place with the wings. Currently, applications are open until 11:59 PM EST on the 7th. This means that you still have a few days to get your apps in if you're interested! The game is generally a chill pace, with a 30 comment AC every other month. Backtagging is a way of life in this game, and there are characters from a variety of fandoms ranging from live action to animated.

Who We Have: The (Eleventh) Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, River Song, and Sarah Jane Smith.

Who We Want: DONNA NOBLE (one is reserved but no idea if she'll app), IDRIS/THE TARDIS, Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones, PRETTY MUCH ANYONE AND EVERYONE.

What the Game is like: Mayfield is a panfandom, community based game with horror elements that's basically as if evil had a baby with the film Pleasantville. Characters are pulled into a town that appears to be the picture perfect version of ideal American life in the 1950's, however, the leaders of the town are hostile to the new inhabitants who have to try to survive the horrible events that happen in the town along with unraveling the mystery of the nature of Mayfield. Characters also must deal with the fact that upon their arrival in Mayfield, they lose all important possessions and special abilities and are essentially normal humans who can only regain their lost possessions and abilities by participation in events. The events at Mayfield range from humorous to horrific and are very well planned by the mods and tend to involve lots of hints and new opportunities to explore character development and CR.

Size is large, with about 3 or 4 posts a day during normal times and quite a flood during events which are about every few months.

@ LUCETIWHAT: Set in an idyllic forest village where everything is free and all the residents have cute little feathery wings, at first glance luceti may seem nice! However, no matter how angelic and peaceful it sounds and can be, in the end, it's pretty rare for anyone to actually enjoy being there- especially considering all initially arrived there against their will, and of course, due to the heavy experimentation, enforced participation in war drafts, and other such things that happen to those trapped there.

WHO'S THERE: Just my Lightning (thestormishere) is the only one left now. :( She's been there for well over a year now and sorely misses her friends! As a side note, she hangs out primarily with Zack from FFVII, so there's that to consider, too. mo_om

WHO WE WANT: Anyone else at all would be awesome, but in particular, I'd really like to see FFXIII-2 characters now- NOEL AND/OR MOG, Serah, Hope, Alyssa...?? Come confuse my poor mid-storyline girl! First game peeps would be amazing as well- particularly Snow or Vanille or Sazh or Fang or-- honestly I'm probably just going to sit here and list everyone who's ever been named, ally and enemy alike. If you play a character who is from XIII or its sequel, get in here!

WHEN: APPS ARE OPEEEEN, which... which means there's really only a couple of days left until they close again, but. ._. Consider?!

@ ASGARDEVENTIDEWHAT: Overseeing a city desperately in need of healing, the gods of asgardeventide have brought in Travelers from all sorts of connected worlds in the hopes of saving it. How? As relationships are formed and emotions run high, life and, more importantly, color is beginning to return to the once completely grey world. Of course, there's a catch: none of the Travelers actually asked to show up there, and... well, any relationship and ensuing emotions will do in the eyes of the gods so long as they're strong- positive or negative. Everyone is subject to the whims of the patron deities in general, who aren't always the most... mature (and in other words, there is an overarching plot that heavily influences the game).

WHO'S THERE: Hope (selfestheim) and Sazh (synergizing) from XIII, and then my Lightning (struckout), Noel (kreissmas), Yeul (ofpaddra), and Caius (noeljustkillme) from XIII-2.

WHO WE WANT: CHO-CO-LI-NA~~ My soul will never be at rest until this game has the single best salesgirl ever, okay? And considering the ability to legitimately run a shop in this game, I think it could work! We're also currently missing Fang, Snow, and Serah, so those lovely people would be super, too?? Or, perhaps you'd like to try someone less friendly to the others? Bring it on! Also, just go up a few comments for the game-wide ATP too. |D;;

@ WITCHESREIGNWHAT: Two decades after the events of Final Fantasy VIII, Time Compression still remains a problem in the daily lives of those at Balamb Garden-- especially since for the last several years, it's been pulling in people not just from other times, but other worlds, other realities as well. With little other choice, most Off-Worlders are enrolled or otherwise employed at the world's most famous school for training SeeDs- that is, mercenaries. NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT KNOWLEDGE OF FFVIII IS NOT NEEDED TO PLAY IN THIS GAME. In general, all the information you'd ever need is laying around on the mod journal somewhere.

WHO'S THERE: My AU version of Lightning for one (subjected), who joined PSICOM rather than Guardian Corps and was then made into a Sanctum l'Cie after the Purge started. She's better than she used to be now, but. Yeah. Otherwise, Cid Raines (fallacies) and Snow (haha_steelguard) are there too.

WHO WE WANT: SERAH! ANYONE!! Personally, I think Hope - from either game - would be pretty cool, on account of the the totally reversed relationship between him and 'Claire,' as well as Noel, to see him interacting with others when... placed in a school setting, haha. In any case, obviously, AUs are welcome, so basically the sky's the limit here.

SUMMARY

Adstringendum is a community-based, multi-fandom game! Currently we have about 180 members with a medium to a-little-fast pace when the events are running. Adstringendum tends to be somewhat slice-of-lifey, and changes depending on what event is running. Last month, we had dinosaurs for half the time and everything was good! Then we had a death plague and everything was bad. So we get most of everything! We make no promises the good ones won't scar your characters, however. Try not to get eaten by a dinosaur, okay?

Ads runs with a tagging system separated into what character is posting, and what character is responding! Make sure to do that, and you'll never miss AC!

skyofdiamonds is a panfandom, post-apocalypse mystery game. Characters wake up from cryogenic sleep in a structure called the Cave and given identities that were supposedly their own, ones they have absolutely no memory of having. As far as anyone knows, there is no "going home". The Caretaker's word is law: refusal to follow his edicts could result in house arrest or even memory rehabilitation. After all, everyone has to start remembering their old life sometime.

Gameplay takes place both in person and over an in-character bulletin board, with an emphasis on prose. Participation in plot events is not mandatory, and characters can certainly ignore it and go about their lives if they wish.

Together with the other Sleepers, it is up to the characters to solve the mystery of the Diamond City and discover just what happened so many years ago. Reactions to events will drive the plot and shape the world around them.

dramadramaduck: Ever wondered what your character would do if forced to become a member of a persistently troublesome internet community? Well, that's the very question the premise asks right off the bat. Characters, from any point in their respective canons, somehow find themselves having to post in order for it let them alone. However, a simple "hello" won't do it. It'll come back. It always does.

Unique in its ability to allow your character to communicate across the multiverse whilst still continuing on with their regularly scheduled canon (as they remain home -- 'lest they become adventurous), it offers large amounts of freedom to test the bounds of your character's canon, the community setting, et cetera. Quite literally loaded with player-run plots and monthly "viruses", what you do is up to you (within reason, of course).

As for general specs? Well: It's medium-pace game despite its rather large size (with the occasional pick-up in speed around viruses). AC requirements rest at 20 comments every two months (posts also count as one comment). You must be at least 15 to play. Adult themes show up with varying degrees of frequency, but it isn't at all a requirement (re: it is not a sex game). No AUs/duplicates are allowed. No OCs. This game is also very backtag friendly! For anything else? Well, the same that's expected at any game. Keep to the rules, etc.

The Game, In a Nutshell!

☀A Victorian-esque, steampunk influenced city surrounded by horrifying magical fog that messes with a character's head. Also includes a low-tech medieval-esque village, an underground city of vice, a pocket dimension full of imported locations and monsters, and an island dedicated to your law and order needs.
☀Multigenre, with survival, horror and mindgamey elements.
☀Minimal or no power-nerfing in most locations and nonpowered characters can gain mist-endowed powers upon arrival. However, there is also...
☀An undercity filled with decadence and crime where no one has superhuman abilities.
☀We allow pets, and equipment to come through with your character or follow them later!
☀Community-based, but with voice mail for private threads, etc.
☀Monthly optional Broadcast Mind event, in which characters' memories, dreams, fantasies, etc. are aired in the Network comm.
☀Generally one or two modplots per month, which vary in length from 2-3 days to a week or more, depending on the plot.
☀Game-wide player-run plots permitted (and encouraged!)
☀Two pieces of activity per month Activity (network posts, logs and long threads all count), with opportunities for saves if you need them.
