Hmm, I've heard about that one!

Due to the setting, if your character is non-human, it may be assumed that during the transition between universes, they were given a bipedal humanoid (though not necessarily human) form.

So what counts as "humanoid"? Could I play a bird as a bird? And what's the stance on ghost characters?

Those are good questions! I'm not sure about the bird thing - the only obviously non-human character in the game so far is a transformer, and I believe the biggest change there was shrinking him down.

Edit: I pinged the mod, she informed me the bird would have to be given a humanoid form/human PB.

As for ghosts, we already have a ghost character (from Being Human) so they should be fine!

Hmm. How about a winged humanoid form? Wouldn't have to have flight/"flight" could be little more than controlling a fall because human bodies aren't shaped well for that.

Cool, cool. Is it zero contact with home, or can letters/phone calls be handwaved?

Hello! Sorry, I wasn't able to log in last night to answer your questions. But I am here now!

You're welcome to do winged humanoid form for your character; we have a transformer who can turn into a jet, so I don't see why we can't have a winged humanoid.

As for contact with home, I think the rule is that, when the character is removed from their canon and into the game, they create a separate timeline of events wherein the people they know and love would notice they're gone - so sure, I'll allow contact with home. Letters would take about two weeks to reach their destinations, and phone calls would have to be facilitated by Eli (the main NPC), so it would be once a month or so, when he comes to visit the settlement.
