Hey all. Guess what game this is for? Luceti. Yeah, I bet this is a surprise after all the links. But there it is. So you're probably going, "Hey Masa, whatcha got for me this time? Cuz I'm gonna ignore it anyway."

WELL FINE. But if you're still reading, here's some facts. YES, we're a journal based game. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, well... I guess you will remain untickled. We're a big game with 300-400 characters, but a pace that is medium to fast, depending on whether an event is on or not. Like backtags? So do we. We're maniacs that do it all the time. Like speedy tagging? Well we got folks who do that too. We're versatile. Kind of our super power.

Also everyone gets wings. Which, yeah, is kinda weird. But they're pretty! So uh, that's cool? I mean, no one is gonna make fun of Wolverine for having wings. Not when you can make fun of him for being short, hairy, and Canadian instead.

What kind of game is Luceti? It's a bit of slice and life, with scientists and experiments, an ongoing war, and the option to send characters on various missions at any time. Though we're a large group, our pace is a steady medium, with spikes during events. Our activity check is thirty comments for the month and the game is extremely back tag friendly. Oh and yeah. Welcome, sirs and madams, to your monthly App This Please! I'll be your host, Princesss Bubblegum.

For today's game, we're going to look at space! That's right, folks, we're talking about gargleblasted. You might think that name sounds silly, and rest assured, the rest of us do too, but when it comes to space, this game is where it's at. So to speak.

And what is this blasting of gargles looking for? ADVENTURE TIME!

That's right! Do you, too, play from a fandom known for bright colors, swords, and brightly-colored swords? In addition, do you want to chuck your character into space? Perfect!

Gargleblasted (known to some as Mostly Harmless) is home to an already existing cast, featuring the likes of Princess Bubblegum, that's me, as well as a supporting cast of Finn the Human, Flame Princess, and Marceline the Vampire Queen. By the way, Marcy, if you're reading this, please return my strawberry jam. I know you took it.

This cast is always looking to expand, and we think you'd fit right in. Especially if you play Jake the Dog, the Ice King (or his mild-mannered alter-ego, Simon,) or any of those wacky genderbents from Fionna and Cake, like Fionna the Human, Cake the Cat, Prince Gumball, or Marshall Lee. If you don't play any of these characters, but still play from Adventure Time, don't worry! We want you anyway. We want you bad.

Currently, reserves are open (as always) and applications put in before the 6th of April will be reviewed in our coming app cycle (on... the 6th of April.) Nobody's on reserve at the moment, so app app app!

So, you say, tell me more about this game! I'm all fired up and ready to go, but just need more details! Well, I'm glad you asked. Gargleblasted is generally a medium-paced game, with a greater focus on tags than posts. It's community-based, and features both a logs community and a network community, for all your logging and/or networking needs! [ Disclaimer: Lumberjacks, no, we don't mean that kind of logging. ]

It is, as mentioned, set in space! Specifically, aboard a city-sized spaceship called the Thor, which picks up characters as refugees after their planets are destroyed. Ooo was turned into a sandwich by an ill-worded wish, and genderbent!Ooo... well, hasn't been destroyed yet, so if you apply from there, you can go wild. Anywho, the Thor visits different planets each month, gives characters various missions or jobs to fulfill each month, and sometimes does weird things. Because it has an Infinite Improbability drive, which runs off of improbability. That also means that this game is set in the universe of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. No knowledge of this setting is required, other than the facts that one: it takes place in space, and two: it's rather silly.

Speaking seriously for a moment, this game fits perfectly with the feel of Adventure Time. It's sometimes serious, sometimes downright silly, and there's always room for action and comedy, both in spades. I've yet to find a game/canon combination that's been more rewarding than this one.

The location is Death City, Nevada, home to Shibusen Technical Institute for Meisters and Weapons. Unfortunately, the city has been torn apart by war. Shinigami-sama, the God of Death, has been killed and leaves a young, inexperienced ruler to take his place. In desperation, the new Shinigami activates BREW, an ancient and mysterious demon artifact created by the former Shinigami and the warrior Eibon. Capable of granting the most desperate and desirable wishes, BREW answers the subconscious wish of the new Shinigami - that is, to rescue Death City and stop the Madness from taking over the world.

Beings from different worlds and universes, of all ages, shapes, sizes, and backgrounds are now being pulled into Death City to aid the war, fitted with the potential to become Meisters and Weapons. There’s no going back. Until the war is won, those brought to Death City cannot be returned home. Will you fight with Shibusen or against it?

smashacademy is a comm-based Super Smash Brothers "High School" game. However, we're not limited to just Nintendo games. In fact, we welcome ALL VIDEO GAME CANONS now! We accept SOME DUPLICATES. Our game is medium-small, pace is slow to moderate but picks up during events. We highly encourage player plots and there's also moderator-run events as well. Despite the "school" setting, we offer plenty of action, adventure, drama and of course, LOTS OF BRAWLING! Smash is not jam-jar (Have you ever wanted to see Ganondorf visit Hocotate? You can make it happen here...), powers are not nerfed, "humanization" of animal characters is your choice and you can switch freely between the two. (It certainly makes things like typing and talking a lot easier, though!)

In the midst of the Reaper War, Aria T’Loak has reclaimed her throne at the top of Omega’s power struggle. But no sooner had Cerberus gone that a much worse fate befell the station -- the Omega Relay is irreparably damaged, cutting off the entire nebula from the rest of the galaxy. No one knows why, or what caused the damage in the first place, but the song remains the same. The station is now in complete seclusion.

And in the ensuing chaos, mysterious automated ships bound for Omega emerge from the Omega-4 Relay, each bearing a crew that appears to be from entirely different universes. None of them know how they’ve arrived, but one thing’s for certain: it’s a one-way trip.

Stuck on Omega with nowhere to go but up, each one of them will have to find their own way to survive. They can do as they please, just so long as they remember Omega’s one rule:

Ω Outsiders is a sci-fi panfandom game with an overarching plot set on Mass Effect’s Omega station following the events of ME3’s Omega DLC. Characters must choose what they plan to do with their stay - whether it be to join up with a group of mercs, start up a shop selling stolen goods, or enter the tangled world of information brokerage. The point is, make yourself useful, or Aria just might decide that she won't be so gracious to newcomers in the future. And those who do prove their worth just might find themselves embroiled in a plot that could change the station forever.
Ω Applications are always open and are processed from the 1st through 7th and 15 through 21st of every month. Reserves are held for the duration of each app round.

When you open your eyes, the rusting skyline of Seattle, Washington greets you. The city has clearly been abandoned for a few years; yet, as you step into the street, you can hear something moving between the crumbling buildings, skittering over the pavement on insectile limbs.

You are not alone. You are not safe.

Welcome to Montauk-1 Allende-18, a panfandom survival horror game set in the abandoned remains of late 1970s Seattle. There will be events at regular intervals, but the game is primarily plot- and exploration-driven, and the direction of the plot can and will be strongly influenced by character actions.

Something about this city, in this time, in this world, has turned it into a sinkhole in multiversal spacetime; any being that falls through a tenuous patch in their own reality is likely to end up here, and that doesn't just mean sapient, relatively humanlike entities from worlds with internally consistent physical laws. The bottom fell out of the non-Euclidean planes of reality first, flooding the city with improbable, hostile entities that have only thrived here - and whose descendants would rather eat you than each other.

The city is surrounded by an impassable barrier, keeping both the monsters and you in - though, that may be pure coincidence, as there seems to be nothing left of the world beyond it, either. And while some of the entities within the city seem like they might be human, it's hard to tell when they open fire on sight.

You are not alone. Nowhere is safe. All you can do is keep moving.

It is the year 3312. In a totalitarian dystopia, your characters are transported into the island community of Exsilium by use of a machine that was commissioned in secret by the Royal Family. Exsilium is inhabited by what was once the Royal Family and their band of now-imprisoned followers, dissenters against the government, displaced immediately following an uprising and failed revolt against a growing governmental entity. They are now known as the Initiative.

The Exsilium Initiative’s ultimate goal is to change the outcome of their present time and usurp the existing totalitarian government by making calculated changes to the events of the past. Namely, by manipulating the outcome of many past wars and political conflicts. These begin in ancient history, spanning the modern history that we know, and even exceeding into our future between 2012 and 3312. With the same machine used to transport characters into Exsilium, those characters will be outfitted appropriately and sent back into periods of time. [...]

You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're deposited on the floor of a stark, sterile, empty medical bay.

ataraxion is a panfandom science-fiction/horror RPG set in a universe not so different from our own. The game is primarily a character-driven jamjar, with an overarching plot that will conceal story elements from both the player base and the PCs. Characters will arrive in-game on the Titan-class colonization ship Tranquility, waking from grav couches located in the ship's medbay. The ship (mysteriously bereft of all original crew members, save two) is heading towards a way home—a deep-space jump point known only as Ataraxia. From there, according to the captain, characters will be able to return to their universes.

This is not a game with a guaranteed happy ending. You might survive, but at what cost?

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! route_29 is a medium-large, medium-paced, journal-based game set in the Johto and Kanto regions of the pokémon games (though with all 649 less legendary pokémon available for capture). It has a warm and welcoming player-base and is pan-fandom, allowing for many different canons to be played there. Travel across the regions, collect badges, breed pokémon, make new friends, and battle the nefarious Team Rocket on your way to becoming a pokémon master! Or, take the darker path and join Team Rocket in its mission to have complete conquest over the world and every pokémon there!

This game masterfully combines the elements of slice-of-life and plot-run games to come together as a game that’s laid back but not enough for you to get bored with it. There are always new challenges with mod and player plots to overcome, though your characters are still free to do their own thing should they choose to with their new friends in the people and the pokémon there.

Here's the deal: Your hometown/planet/previous haunted mental institution? Gone. Kaput. De-freaking-stroyed. The details are sketchy, and the reasoning is completely out the window, but what you do know, is that you don't have anywhere to return. No place to call home anymore.

You're now a refugee on the S.S. Thor, a spacestation floating around the galaxy with the sole mission to rescue vagrants like you. You've been given three things: a (rather stylish) towel, an oddly designed book (which, on the back has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters) and coordinates to some sort of cabin. You have to work for us for a little while, and build up a name for yourself. But before all that, sit down. Have a drink. Take in your surroundings. Get to know everyone else. Oh, and don't worry.

Everyone here? We're mostly harmless.
►gargleblasted is a community based, sandbox game. It's based on "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (or H2G2 for short), but you don't need to know anything about the canon to join! You're welcome to play out pretty much whatever you want, from drama to crack, and let's not forget to punch an alien or two. Every month, the characters can pick a new job, visit the new planet and suffer enjoy the effects of the Improbability Drive (what common people know as "events"). Player plots? We live for them!

►Activity is 25 comments per month, or an open post/log plus a thread. Don't be scared by the size: the pace is a slow/medium, and we've got great backtaggers! otherwise I would've already died sob

►The setting is panfandom! We accept everything under the sun. Tower of Animus is a mid-size, medium paced, AU-friendly panfandom horror game, which takes place in a mysterious tower. After being told their worlds are gone, characters must figure out why they're here and how to escape. Are their homes really entirely gone, or is this a lie meant to make them more complacent? And if this is supposed to be a new home, why is it so dangerous? Hopefully the mysteries of this tower will be revealed, and an escape route made.
