SUMMARY

Terminal Tokyo is a community-based, panfandom game based on the Digimon series! There are roughly 136 members and the pace is slow to medium, depending on whether or not there is an event going on. It is heavily plot-focused with the month of July having had a plot that encompassed nearly the entire month. That is not to say that there aren't slower periods; the month of August is meant to be a recuperation month, allowing for more slice of life scenarios. Characters are given a Digimon partner upon arrival and have the potential to be crested as well, depending on their actions in the game!

There are multiple ways to meet the game's AC:

25 Comments of your own that come from at least 3 threads outside of your own posts and no more than 6. They can come from either themainframe or thefolder.

OR

Two proofs of the following. NOTE: you can do two of the same proof.

1) One post with comments in themainframe.
2) Creation/participation in a log in thefolder.
3) 15 comments from your character in at least 2 different threads in themainframe.
4) 6 comments from your character on a single log post in thefolder.

"Something went wrong, and we need your help." Perhaps this is the first time you heard pleas for help, or perhaps you've answered them many times before. In your own world, or elsewhere... Regardless of if or when, or maybe even how, you have been called to another city in desperate need of your help: Saeng Seong. Something went wrong, though what that something was, how it happened, and how exactly you're supposed to go about fixing it is something you'll have to discover for yourself. The residents have made it clear - until you can help them, they won't, can't, send you home. They need you to help save them, after all. It's something only you can do. The City and its native residents seem to be eager to help you at least, and for all your unwilling arrival, they've certainly done their best to make sure that everyone's stay is as comfortable as they can make it. But don't think you can fix Saeng Seong's problems alone. In fact, this is one adventure you simply can't complete by yourself, no matter how independent or how much of a loner you were up till now. Because in Saeng Seong, if you can't get in touch with people - actual touch - then you may find yourself destabilizing, withering away. It doesn't have to be much; you could probably get by on handshakes if you do it enough. But without keeping in contact with the other new arrivals, you won't make it far. One thing's for sure at least. You'll never be entirely alone…

Rekindle is a panfandom game, with fluffy, slice-of-life elements and a slow-moving underlying plotline that characters can have some impact on. Characters brought to the city will need to keep up a certain "quota" of physical contact with other player characters as they settle into and explore the strange city of Saeng Seong, or else risk losing control of their powers (if they have any) and developing withdrawal symptoms that get progressively more severe.

What's going on in Saeng Seong? Why are they really here, and how can they expedite the process of going home? That's something they can explore and find out. Or perhaps they can just settle down, and find a good person to cuddle with for a while. Either way works!

The ticking reaches you through the darkness. The soft pulse through the metal calls you forward, followed by the waves of heat settling over your skin. Every breath becomes a little more thick, a little more heavy with humidity and temperature as the ticking grows louder. Then, in a snap like a clock breaking into chime, you awaken.

Henlein is a steampunk memory loss prose game where the guilty come to pay for their crimes.

• Upon application, muns choose how many and what type of memories to loose. This gives players the control over the kind of character development they want within the game.


• Memories will be given back based on time spent within the game as well as participation in events. Some memories returned may be false and others may contain the memories of the original inhabitants of the city.


• Returned memories are on physical cogs and may be shared directly between characters, stolen, sold, or destroyed.


• With each death, a character will lose a body part and have it replaced with a mechanized version. These 'upgrades' will reflect the crime for which the character was charged on entry. Murderers may receive sharp new hands, arsonists may gain invulnerability to fire on that new part.


• The city shifts every OOC month, opening new areas and giving access to new resources, and closing off old areas.

With limited resources and criminals all around, will you let the machine change who you are? What are you willing to do to survive? After all, there are none who are innocent in Henlein. It's our goal to push the limits of your character's morals and identity.

You open your eyes and see you’re in a giant winged egg-like building, in a world completely different from your own home. Kiseki is a journal-based, slice-of-life jamjar game, with a small and friendly playerbase! We have 8 players and 29 characters, currently, and always hoping for more. The setting is light-hearted with occasional underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa), and we have player-run plots and game-wide events regularly.

We are a CLAMP-only game, great for minor, underappreciated CLAMP series and characters as well as the popular ones!

Reserves are always open and last for a week. The application itself is simple (no third person!). Game pace can be fast for a small game (during events, usually) but overall is slow to medium-paced. Comments are usually comment-spam, everyone is very backtag friendly, and our bi-monthly AC is low-pressure.

Additionally, we are on Insanejournal, which means 100 free icons! (I’m happy to make icon sets for anyone interested, or to provide HQ scans and raws.)

entranceway is a medium-paced game set in the wonderful world of Wonderland; a magical mansion and its surrounding gardens, forest and sea. Become part of its history or stay on the sidelines and enjoy all the jam in this jar. One day, Good and Evil decided to play a game. Kind of like chess, but bigger.

Good believed that one day, the world would have peace. After all, they’re good--optimism and belief in the better parts of a person’s nature comes with the territory. Evil, on the other hand, scoffed at the idea. People were always going to give in to their baser ideals. Even if they managed to find a time for peace, there was always going to be war again.

So they decided to make a wager.

They would collect them all -- heroes, villains, and everything in between -- and place them in a world that evens the playing field. The guilty would have to pay for their sins, but it would be all of the guilty, not just the evil. They would be forced to redeem themselves together, on an even playing field.

They created a brilliant golden city. They invited the people of the world below and let them do with the city as they will. They left agents of both sides and those in between to watch over them, make sure that they paid off their debt in full. Occasionally, the agents will have their own fun with them, but for the most part the inhabitants were left to their own devices.

That was where things went wrong.

The first wager failed, horribly. The city fell to ruin, and the inhabitants vanished, never to be heard from again. Thousands of years passed, and the city remained empty.

The grand parlor looms in front of you, windows grimy and dimmed with dust. A sense of age hangs around you. A heavy door stands behind you, obviously not the way you came in. It's solid and unmovable when tested, locked tight.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! When Balamb Garden opened its doors to the sudden influx of misplaced individuals forced into the world as a result of Time Compression, it did so out of charity and kindness. Headmaster Cid felt sympathy for these estranged folk, trapped far from their proper homes, on a world where their strange powers were met with hostility and fear.

And so these foreigners trained, and continue to train, as the mercenary elites know as SeeDs. And for some years now, time has marched resolutely on, and offworlders have become more and more integrated as cadets, SeeDs, Instructors, and staff at the Garden.

But no good deed goes unpunished. With its reputation damaged by its openness and its finances bled nearly dry, Balamb has undergone drastic and alarming changes. A new Commander, Erlea Zabala, has gained power as a result of backroom maneuvering, and her decree to Garden is simple: Time to repay us with work and effort. Go out into an unwelcoming world and earn your keep.

Witches Reign is a panfandom, community-based, OC-friendly RP that takes place in the unnamed world of Final Fantasy VIII, twenty-three years after the events of the game. One part school setting, one part political/war drama and one part slice-of-life, we have something for everyone:

Seven hundred years ago, all was still and silent. And then the Tu Vishan shook himself free of the continent and swam. In those seven hundred years, he has not stopped.

In time, he became a refuge. A beacon, a harbour amidst the treacherous seas. The kedan came to him, and they built a city upon him like none the world had ever seen. They called this city Keeliai, or 'Finality' and for generations, the citizenry have both maintained and defended it. It has suffered numerous civil uprisings, and at least one bloody coup, but it still stands, and Tu Vishan still swims.

But Keeliai is not only a city for the living. It is also a gate, one that straddles the In Between of life, dreaming, and death.

And that gate is now swung open.

Tower of Animus is a mid-size, medium to fast paced, AU-friendly panfandom horror game, which takes place in a mysterious tower. After being told their worlds are gone, characters must figure out why they're here and how to escape. Are their homes really entirely gone, or is this a lie meant to make them more complacent? And if this is supposed to be a new home, why is it so dangerous? Hopefully the mysteries of this tower will be revealed, and an escape route made.

It's now the year 3313 C.E., and what's left of the world is all under the control of one single totalitarian regime and its government—the United Earth. Your character is brought into Exsilium, a prison island where government dissenters and revolutionaries against the United Earth were dumped and left to their own devices after an unsuccessful revolution three-hundred years prior. They're brought onto this island in secret by the Initiative, who are an underground organization working undercover in the prison colony and trying to amass an army of Transports (you, specifically) to utilize in an ultimate war against the United Earth. Your character's enlisted with the Initiative as a soldier or a diplomat, and given an enchanted weapon that evolves with them in game. They are trained on a daily basis to be prepared for battles and intellectual confrontations.

exsilium is a science-fiction game that takes place in a dystopian future. characters will join an underground resistance, the initiative, in orchestrating a successful uprising against a totalitarian regime using time travel.

The Nysgods are a peaceful people, deeply invested in magic and science. Until now, they have always kept to themselves, separate from the strife that has plagued the mortal realms.

Today, things are changing.

Tristan, the Nysgod prince, has come of age and he must choose a partner from among the mortal races. In an effort to aid him in this task, the Grasp was created.

Part shadow, part magic, part technology, the Grasp has begun drawing people into the city of Dagaz from all worlds and times touched by the Nysgod people. Your race, gender, age, and species are of no importance. If the Grasp finds something interesting in you, if it thinks you might be a suitable partner for Prince Tristan, you will be found.

Throne of Shadows is a panfandom RPG with a slant toward high fantasy and science fiction, with interactions that will take place in both log and network formats. Taking place in the mythical city of Dagaz, the game guides players through the twists and turns of Nysgod politics as the shocking past of the realm is slowly revealed.

While there is an over-arching metaplot that will be revealed in stages, Throne of Shadows is also a player plot friendly game, allowing players to create their own shenanigans within the confines of the story. We are smut-friendly, although not smut-centric.

About the game;

We are a panfandom jamjar RP with an over-arcing plot, NPC interaction, set in a fantasy world with Norse myth inspiration. Characters are brought to the city of Asgard by the gods, in order to give life to a world that's gone grey and emotionless. As the world blooms, characters will gain supernatural abilities based on their patron god, and will eventually face the Giants in the Battle of Ragnarok. If the world and the characters have grown strong, they might just be able to put off the end of the era of the gods.

SAVE THE EARTH
(A game built around reincarnated characters defending an ordinary Earth from extraordinary danger.)
Save the Earth is a cross between an AU game and a memory loss game; with their universes ended and their souls converted into new bodies, the player characters have lived their entire lives up this point on an Earth that is, for all practical purposes, identical to our own. However, with an otherworldly enemy seeking to conquer the world, regaining the memories, abilities, possessions and personality traits of their prior lives, being unaware of their previous existence - being normal - is slowly becoming an impossibility.

The plot style is designed to be responsive to in-character action. The game will undergo 'Seasons,' with the setting changing as the plot progresses. There are no all powerful NPCs and no self resolving plot points. The player characters are the primary driving force behind what occurs.

Season One revolves around the first awakening reincarnated characters coming to grips with the situation as they face off against the forces attempting to get a foothold in their world, with a focus on keeping their supernatural existence hidden from the public.
