ABOUT THE GAME
capeandcowl is a comm based, medium to fast-pace game set in an alternate universe version of New York known only as ‘the City.’ Characters are brought in to be heroes to this world, with powers and a paycheck included. Mistakes are often made, however, and not everyone brought in fits even the loosest definition of ‘hero.’ Mod and player run plots are plentiful, ranging from serious tragedy to light-hearted crack.

EXIT VOID is a panfandom survival horror game set in the city of Zelien with 1920s flare and a Lovecraftian twist. From time to time there will be cracks in the fabric of reality, allowing characters to visit different canon locations. The stay is never long, though it may just seem like an eternity— and as much as you'll want to go back, Zelien itself has its own share of nightmares, watching and waiting patiently for your return.

Haven is a plot-driven horror game, where the mystery will be revealed through monthly events. Characters wake up in a room with six beds, which means all characters will be sorted into rooms when they are approved. If there aren't six people in your room, it's likely the spots will be filled in future app rounds.

The characters will be subjected to horror themes, which are influenced by a variety of films and games. Players can drive the plot forwards by exploring or investigation.

Each character wakes up with a cell phone, which can be used to make voice or video calls. Strangely, the text function is disabled. Most of the action will take place in havenrpg which is for first person voice, video and action posts. havenlogs is for third person prose, and can be used for open and closed logs.

The Bastion - a fantasy/steampunk panfandom game

The Bastion

Designed by talented mechanics, the Bastion was meant to be both a sanctuary and a defense mechanism at once. Should the world ever fall into war, the Bastion could be activated, giving refugees a save place to flee to. The Bastion was meant to be self-monitoring, and could take care of all the needs of its population without any interference.

However, nobody expected the Calamity. Millions perished in the blink of an eye, and the world itself was torn to shreds. All that remains is the Skyway, a collection of floating lands that occupy the space once inhabited by an entire world. The Calamity was so terrible that the Bastion itself was damaged, and it lacks the power necessary to repair itself.

In order to repair the Bastion, characters will have to search for Cores on the Skyway. They provide the power necessary for the Bastion to repair itself, and each Core brings the Bastion one step closer to being 100% operational. Until then, everyone who survived the Calamity will have to work together to survive and keep the monsters of the Skyway out of the Bastion, lest the last sanctuary of mankind fall to the horrors that lurk outside its borders.

The Bastion is a panfandom, plot-heavy game set in the world of Bastion with a focus on the consequences of choices made by the characters within the game. Characters will be able to shape the setting as they see fit, and ultimately it is up to them to repair the Bastion and make a new home for all living creatures. You do not have to have played Bastion to app into this game.

· Plot-related events happen once every four-to-six weeks. Smaller, mini-events happen in-between those.
· Actions characters take will have an effect on the game itself. Both positive and negative consequences can come from choices made.
· The game has a set ending point. There are several different possible endings to the game, depending on the choices characters make.
· Prior knowledge of Bastion is not necessary; all important terms and game locations are described on the information pages.
· Teamwork is required for survival.

It's now the year 3313 C.E., and what's left of the world is all under the control of one single totalitarian regime and its government—the United Earth. Your character is brought into Exsilium, a prison island where government dissenters and revolutionaries against the United Earth were dumped and left to their own devices after an unsuccessful revolution three-hundred years prior. They're brought onto this island in secret by the Initiative, who are an underground organization working undercover in the prison colony and trying to amass an army of Transports (you, specifically) to utilize in an ultimate war against the United Earth. Your character's enlisted with the Initiative as a soldier or a diplomat, and given an enchanted weapon that evolves with them in game. They are trained on a daily basis to be prepared for battles and intellectual confrontations.

The thing is, the United Earth is too strong for another simple uprising. Their military is literally super-human, and their technology is worlds more advanced than Exsilium's. However, they're running out of the resources needed for their own survival in their dystopian metropolis—but in an effort to make up for it, they're taking their super-human military and invading your characters' worlds to drain them of precious metals and fuels they need to sustain themselves. The Initiative has recently caught wind of this, and they're trying desperately to enlist the help of their Transports in their fight against the United Earth—whose greed knows no bounds, not even outside their own universe.

The Initiative will be sending characters on missions throughout the span of time, in a carefully projected timeline of major and minor world events. The Initiative plans, with your character's help, to weaken the United Earth's power from the past by shattering the foundation on which they've built themselves up and ultimately whittle them down in preparation for a final, successful revolution.

What this means, Metal Gear people, is that there is a dystopian game where most of the world is a border-less, war-fueled nation (that is secretly ruled by a powerful and manipulative military AI) which governs its people with drugs and propaganda. A resistance movement (also consisting of a military AI) is now drawing in soldiers from across time and space to fight a proxy war through history and providing soldiers with VR training . How do we not have a flourishing Metal Gear cast with this premise? So far there is just me as Raiden (circa Rising, but I would love any and all franchise characters).

The location is Death City, Nevada, home to Shibusen Technical Institute for Meisters and Weapons. Unfortunately, the city has been torn apart by war. Shinigami-sama, the God of Death, has been killed and leaves a young, inexperienced ruler to take his place. In desperation, the new Shinigami activates BREW, an ancient and mysterious demon artifact created by the former Shinigami and the warrior Eibon. Capable of granting the most desperate and desirable wishes, BREW answers the subconscious wish of the new Shinigami - that is, to rescue Death City and stop the Madness from taking over the world.

I currently play a lone canon warrior Ib at Exit Void and I would really love either a Mary or Garry. Ib's canon point takes place around the 1.04 Bonus Dungeon, where she's at the "Final Stage". THAT SAID: I am the lone canon warrior for Zettai Karen Children in Haven, playing Hyobu Kyosuke! Haven lets you keep all powers, though you'll sometimes lose them during an event, so any esper who shows up would have access to their full abilities! ... minus psychometry, since that gets nerfed at a little when it comes to reading Haven itself, since whoa spoilers.

But I would absolutely love to have anyone at all from ZKC! Hyobu kind of runs amok and has a mostly bad reputation with everyone he knows, so anyone from home showing up might put a big dent in that.

THE CITY NEVER SLEEPS

The City Never Sleeps, also known as the City for short, is a pan-fandom roleplaying game set in a previously abandoned city which appears to exist somewhere on the East Coast of the United States, although the exact location, year, and even plane of existence are debatable. Without warning or explanation, characters find themselves arriving in the city of Darrow, often by train, with no method of escape.

In the isolated and unsettling city, residents negotiate both their own day-to-day dramas and the City's oddities, including semi-spectral people inhabiting Darrow alongside them, the occasional supernatural occurrence, and unforeseen changes, from minor windfalls to doors that don't lead where they're supposed to. It's up to them to determine how to keep the abandoned City running, whether together or apart.

Rekindle

"Something went wrong, and we need your help." Perhaps this is the first time you heard pleas for help, or perhaps you've answered them many times before. In your own world, or elsewhere... Regardless of if or when, or maybe even how, you have been called to another city in desperate need of your help: Saeng Seong. Something went wrong, though what that something was, how it happened, and how exactly you're supposed to go about fixing it is something you'll have to discover for yourself. The residents have made it clear - until you can help them, they won't, can't, send you home. They need you to help save them, after all. It's something only you can do. The City and its native residents seem to be eager to help you at least, and for all your unwilling arrival, they've certainly done their best to make sure that everyone's stay is as comfortable as they can make it. But don't think you can fix Saeng Seong's problems alone. In fact, this is one adventure you simply can't complete by yourself, no matter how independent or how much of a loner you were up till now. Because in Saeng Seong, if you can't get in touch with people - actual touch - then you may find yourself destabilizing, withering away. It doesn't have to be much; you could probably get by on handshakes if you do it enough. But without keeping in contact with the other new arrivals, you won't make it far. One thing's for sure at least. You'll never be entirely alone…

Rekindle is a panfandom game, with fluffy, slice-of-life elements and a slow-moving underlying plotline that characters can have some impact on. Characters brought to the city will need to keep up a certain "quota" of physical contact with other player characters as they settle into and explore the strange city of Saeng Seong, or else risk losing control of their powers (if they have any) and developing withdrawal symptoms that get progressively more severe.

What's going on in Saeng Seong? Why are they really here, and how can they expedite the process of going home? That's something they can explore and find out. Or perhaps they can just settle down, and find a good person to cuddle with for a while. Either way works!
