A thin line connects each dimension, each world, each human, animal and plant. These lines all connect and form the nexus web - that maintains, sustains and creates life energy. The life energy flows from the Nexus World and death energy flows back in to it to be reborn again.

This never ending cycle has come under threat and the spirit energy of the Nexus World needs help. Those who wish to destroy the Nexus Web and pull apart the seams of the dimensions and worlds have inadvertently given the Nexus hope. By attempting to change the very essence of the web, souls sometimes get pulled inside and attracted to the Nexus World.

As these souls do not belong naturally to the Nexus World, they reawaken and find themselves in a Temple.

Those of the Nexus World all feed the web with life energy and for the newcomers, the same is asked of them. However, the Temple Elders all understand that these newcomers did not arrive here by their own will as those who lived here previously did. They, therefore, created a reward system so that if enough life energy could be created in their central and pivotal world, they would sacrifice the energy required to send them back.

If your character does not want to feed the life energy, they can still carve out a happy existence in the Nexus without pressure to give a helping hand.

THERE ARE NO LOST CAUSES WHEN IT COMES TO LOST SOULS

lastvoyages is highly focused on character development and interactions. It's set on a physics-defying barge in unknown space, where everyone on board is either an inmate or a warden. Wardens are there to redeem inmates in exchange for absolutely anything! The Admiral fulfills their deal once they graduate an inmate. Deals can range from something as simple as wealth and riches to something as selfish (and/or noble) as the return of a deceased loved one. Inmates have died or are near death (canonically or under an invented circumstance), and are in need of a second chance: they get that opportunity on the Barge.

The game is of a medium size and pace, journal based with an easy AC, with several small game wide events a month. It's a CR intensive game, often focusing on the serious side of redeeming morally corrupt or gray characters - but with cracky storylines and events worked in to lighten things up.

Applications are always open! If anyone has questions or concerns about apping a character, we do have a potential apps page, where members can chime in and give input on any character you're thinking of apping. We also have a regular voice test meme!

You wake up suddenly - which is odd, since you don’t remember ever having been asleep. You’re in some sort of brightly lit town - or city, it’s hard to tell - and the little white winged-pompom-bear thing in front of you seems to want your attention. It introduces itself as a moogle, calls you kupo half a dozen times, gives you a small bag of what it deems necessary items, and explains that you’ve woken up in a world called Traverse Town...except you haven’t really woken up at all. As a world, Traverse Town is still asleep, and so are you. Welcome to the realm of dreams.

Revenance is a panfandom game based on Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. While it’d be nice to have some knowledge of Kingdom Hearts, you definitely don’t need it in order to play. Revenance is relatively open-ended: characters can choose a more slice-of-life experience, can focus on raising or training Dream Eaters, or can become involved in the unfolding story, which will take more of an action-adventure bent.

THE STORY
It was the year 2020 when it happened...

A certain group in the scientific community was taking that step forward into the future, aspiring to attain the answer to the universe that we all have sought for thousands of years. The Unified Universe Project was put into action, and that summer the group behind it was to reveal their miraculous invention: the Equator.
As the name states, it was to derive the equation that would answer everything, give the key to the universe and all within it. A complicated project, years in planning, a product of their hopes and dreams. December 31st, 2019, with billions of people across the world watching a live broadcast, their ideas were put to the test, and the machine was activated.

And it could not have gone more wrong.

An equation it did derive, but not to their liking. Bits of the special universe began to expand and collapse, and the space-time that held reality together collapsed, caving and distorting the world into something no one recognized. At least...as a whole. For those that survived, the world they found themselves in was familiar and strange at the same time. Creatures and beings thought never to exist outside of the imagination were suddenly real. The Unified Universe Project sought to explain the mystery, and began to realize that it was no, in fact, that the universe had collapsed or broken in...

...It was that time itself had compressed, and the fluctuations of the every changing and growing universe were pressed into one point, bringing into existence things long gone and things to come.　Peoples from different worlds and different times, billions of years and different universe collapses and rebirths apart, all in the same place. While all the new groups of beings find themselves together, the Unified Universe Project is determined to try and reverse the effects, and return space and time to their normal states. While the confused wander the broken mishmash of landscapes, some beings do not take lightly to have their existence so altered...

Summary

adstringendum is a medium-paced panfandom post-apocalyptic plot-oriented game. Events happen twice monthly and a majority of them are suggested by the players themselves. There is also plenty of opportunity for player plots and ample chance to get involved. In the down time between events, there are more slice-of-life going ons that make for a good balance so it isn't plot-heavy all the time.

Adstringendum accepts both canon and original characters. Applications and reserves are currently open.

Humanity has expanded its borders.

Forming a Confederation of Inhabited Systems with several other races discovered after First Contact, and facing the strain on their home planet, mankind took to the stars, placing colonies first in their own systems, then in friendly systems, and finally in roving colony fleets. The 43rd Scutum-Crux Fleet was designed to colonize any HZ-class planet, with a cityship, three gargantuan agricultural vessels, and a fleet of nearly a dozen warships to protect such easy targets from pirates, slavers, and enemies of the Confederacy.

It had gone well, until a being of immense power, a trickster, decided to 'assist' them on their goal and transported them across the galaxy, to the unexplored portion on the other side of the Galactic Core. The planets they found there were certainly suitable for life, but they were also inhabited. And, regrettably, hostile. Surrounded by unknown races that they couldn't communicate with, the fleet moved on, desperate to find a sanctuary to settle the colony on and regain communications with their superiors.

That was nearly 125 years ago. It is now 0458 A.C. The fleet still moves on, navigating through friendly space and avoiding pirates and enemy war fleets alike.

This is the kind of thing you hear when you wake up. The first thing you'd noticed was the beep of heart monitors. Dozens of them. A blinking light somewhere in your field of vision said 'Awake', and nurses were heading towards you. The room is bright, almost too bright for your eyes, but there are filled beds and people floating in tanks as far as the eye can see.

When the nurses finally reach you, they smile in relief and offer you a wheelchair. They don't speak any language you're familiar with, but you have no trouble understanding them. They say it's because of their sleep-learning systems, that they'll tell you everything at the briefing.

You are, it seems, one of the lucky ones.

Crux Fleet is a space opera, full of adventure, exploration, battles, and possibly a hint of romance. The main influences are Star Trek, Macross, and Star Wars. If you're looking for genres, it's an adventure/exploration game with hints of slice of life and a focus on dealing with new races, hostile and non. We accept OCs, canon OCs, canon characters, canon AUs, and native OCs/AUs.

And, yes, there are flesh-eating, fire-breathing space horses.

luceti is a large, medium-paced game that features an overarching plot that focuses on the mystery of the Malnosso organization, alongside more slice-of-life elements. Your character will have the chance to participate in the plot through fun things like drafts and missions, but in the downtime the village and larger enclosure offer plenty to do. Experiments ranging from silly to serious are sure to keep your character on their toes too!
