Eachdraidh is basically a comm-based, open-world, fantasy game where characters have been chucked into either the Seelie or Unseelie court, to join an ancient battle of Order vs Chaos (and boy is there room for moral conundrum-ing on those fronts with CR and the like). I'd generally say it's a medium-paced game, but can be faster or slower for you depending on things like modplot, CR circles, and what your character is just plain willing to butt into and get involved with! Like August was pretty crazy busy for me on the Bolin front, and this past month's been relatively relaxed, for example. There's usually a monthly mod plot event, and participating in them gives you the chance to ask for a boon for your character (the sky's pretty much the limit there. magic powers, new clothes, pets, trinkets from home, elephants...).
I've found it to be very welcoming and involved in my time here! There's a lot of room for unusual CR, a veritable ton of NPC involvement, and court influence rosters that determine your character's standing in the world (with chances to request individual quests that can up their standing). And AC is really easy to boot: 5 linear log comments or 10 linear network comments per month, with options for doubling up the next month if you can't reach requirements.
It's completely understandable if waiting until January isn't something you're interested in, or if it just doesn't seem like a good fit! I only wanted to poke you just in case.
