▼ ABOUT US

▶ route_29 is a panfandom, medium-paced game set in the wonderful world of Pokémon! Specifically, Route is set in the Gen IV, HeartGold/SoulSilver incarnations of Johto and Kanto, but with an available Pokédex up through Gen VI and plenty of exposure to elements of the other regions through mod-run events!

▶ No prior knowledge of Pokémon canon is necessary; we're very friendly to PokéExperts and complete newbies alike! As a predominantly slice-of-life game with regular mod-run events and plots, your Route experience can be as involved or as low-pressure as you make it; we've got a little something for everyone.

▶ We're also very open to player-run plots and villain-friendly — while participation in Team Rocket isn't mandatory for our more villainous characters, we're glad to put the ruthless organization's resources at their disposal when it comes to wreaking havoc on the nation!

▼ GAME BASICS

▶ Route is a journal-based game, but if the upkeep and maintenance of your journal's friends list is an issue, we keep the community's reading list updated for you so all you have to do is join the communities, the same as in any other game!

▶ We're medium-sized, with around 100 characters currently in play, and we run at a comfortable medium-slow pace: on average you're likely to see two to four new posts per day, but with natural fluctuations in speed — we run a little faster during events, and a little slower periodically. We're also very backtag-friendly!

▶ AC is quite manageable — just three proofs per month, which can be satisfied with any combination of posts, logs, or comment threads (totaling at least 10 comments, 5 from you and 5 from someone else).

▶ Our next app round is next weekend, with the app deadline on the 6th of December, midnight EST. If you're still not sure about Route, we currently have a GLORIOUS FOURTH WALL where you can mingle with our lovely player base and other app hopefuls! We hope to see you soon in the world of Pokémon!

A T A R A X I O N

You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're deposited on the floor of a stark, sterile, empty medical bay.

Don't worry. The disorientation usually wears off in less than thirty-six hours.

Ataraxion is a panfandom science-fiction/psychological horror RPG set in a universe not so different from our own. The game is primarily a character-driven jamjar, with an overarching plot that will conceal story elements from both the player base and the PCs. Characters will arrive in-game on the Titan-class colonization ship Tranquility, waking from grav couches located in the ship's medbay. The ship (mysteriously bereft of all original crew members, save two) is heading towards a way home—a deep-space jump point known only as Ataraxia. From there, according to the captain, characters will be able to return to their universes.

Over two years old, Ataraxion is a slow-paced game with a large plot every second month and a variety of minor monthly occurrences. Our monthly Activity Check is one post or one log or ten comments, and backtagging is welcomed and encouraged. We have characters from a variety of mediums, including television, film, books, webcomics, video games, comics, anime and manga. We love lone canon warriors and accept CR AUs and original characters.

You open your eyes and see you’re in a giant winged egg-like building, in a world completely different from your own home. Smiling women are here to greet you, cheerfully handing you a journal and chirping encouragements to write to those you know. From the doorway, you can smell the sea, hear the wind in the trees, see the long road sprawling out to meet a little city before you. It’s almost peaceful, even though when you try to step out, you’re blocked from leaving by a powerful force. Outside, the world seems bright and warm, and the voices behind you are cheerful. But still, you cannot leave.

ABOUT US
❀ Kiseki is a panfandom slice-of-life jamjar game set in the separate world of Miracle Country, a series of islands with all kinds of magical mishaps and circumstances. It seems a pleasant enough place, aside from some underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle or cursed Storybrooke in Once Upon a Time).

❀ Kiseki is a CLAMP inspired (meaning series such as Card Captor Sakura, X/1999, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and Magic Knight Rayearth – just to name a few), but no prior knowledge of the manga-ka is necessary to join – it’s great for both CLAMP enthusiasts and canon-blind appers.

❀ Kiseki has both game-wide events and player-run plots which tend to run on at least a monthly basis (or sometimes twice a month).

❀ Kiseki is a small game (21 players and 53 characters) with a small and friendly player base, very backtag friendly and accommodating to all tagging-speeds; we have a bi-monthly AC that ranges from 30 to 40 comments total or one open post.

❀ Reserves are always open and last for one week, and the application itself is simple: no third person required!

❀ The game pace is overall medium-paced, sometimes faster during events and comments tend more towards comment-spam rather than prose.

❀ The game is comm-based and gameplay consists of both open logs and journal entries posted through magically-connected paper journals.

❀ We are on insanejournal which means all free accounts get 100 free icons; insanejournal is currently on invite-code only, so please feel free to poke me if you need a code.

By this means the Princess had all the perfections imaginable . . ."

That's how Sleeping Beauty begins. And that is the beginning of the text written on the book that was placed on top of the glass coffin before the coffin was placed in a cavern and the cavern was forgotten. Before lots of things were forgotten, like how water runs and how trees grow and how to put together a person the right way . . .

Your character arrives in the magical world of Aather with only a single memory to their name, assigned to one of fourteen teams (or as a knight tasked with assisting the teams). They must learn to live with their teammates, because together they'll be playing in games to regain their memories and fight the Darkness.

Aather has no in-character network; all interactions are face to face, with an emphasis on commentspam, or mostly short tags. Once or twice a week, games occur—scheduled mini-events where characters compete to win back their memories. There are also "plot" events threaded throughout and between games—characters have the ability to ICly change the course and progress of life in Aather.

Aather has been an active game for 3.5+ years and we're really looking to welcome new players who bring fresh ideas! We have several open slots on a number of teams—so there shouldn't be much of a wait to get placed on a team that suits your character!

Characters will encounter the child god, Zephyr, face-to-face, help them learn, grow, and shape them into a full-fledged god. Zephyr has a name and a form, but they still have much left to figure out about themselves with the help of the characters they bring in. There are also several other gods who occasionally look in on the Meadous and have a tendency to meddle.

Our December event will be a "winter holiday"-themed 4th Wall Event. Any character who has ICly spent any amount of time in an established Game or Dressing room is more than welcome to participate. WELCOME TO PANEM

Katniss Everdeen's spark has set the world of Panem on fire, and the Capitol has been scrambling to beat down the flames ever since. President Snow is presented with two options if he's not to lose everything: Crush the rebellions with force, or pacify their anger. And when you have been murdering people's children for almost 75 years, that is no small task.

However, the Hunger Games cannot just end. The Capitol expects them, thrives off them, and although Snow is willing to pacify the Districts, he won't be seen as weak. He refuses to let them to forget what is waiting for them if they ever make one misstep, and now, it will be on their minds every day.

Now they can pull Tributes from all worlds, all realities, and all times. Unlimited Tributes, and not a drop of Panem's blood will be shed to fuel the rebellion's power. And the Capitol's power, its force, can be broadcast all day, every day.

The city loves the constant excitement, but not everyone is so pleased about it.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! Luceti: Endgame Edition

This isn't an ordinary ATP ad, due to the fact that, after seven long years, luceti is currently set to reach endgame and close over the next few months. The actual end-date has yet to be announced, but for those interesting in short-term hijinks, there's still openings for players new and old.

Currently, apps are perpetually open for new characters. As for characters who have previously been in Luceti, as long as the character is not taken, they can return without filling a full app - just a simple form on the Application page with basic contact/character information such as a canon point and a link to the character's previous Luceti journal(s). And for all characters in general, AC is now a thing of the past; it will only be conducted in the form of a check-in.

As for the game itself, Luceti has been known as "that game with the wings" and is a journal-based jamjar that is primarily slice-of-life, but with an overarching plot and room for player plots. A mysterious force draws characters into this world, where everyone receives tiny wings plus a bar-code on the backs of their necks, and an organization keeps people secured within different enclosures. Luceti is the enclosure that is the focus of the game, and everyone communicates via journals.

Recently, there has been a big plot change via a time travel plot that prevented the world's original factions from forming. Thus, the current setting is like a 'good future' for the world. There is no longer a war, and the Malnosso have been replaced by a relatively benevolent group known as the World of Their Future (or... WTF for short). Characters now have a lot more freedom, including the ability to leave the enclosure, and things like experiments, kidnappings and drafts are gone for the time being. But there are still potential threats out there, such as whatever's waiting in the planet's core...

Premise

Sunshine isn't quite what that word would immediately imply. The word normally brings to mind fluffy kittens and warm summer days. While many things appear to be much brighter, happier, and dare say it, better in places when compared to the dark, abyssal background of canon... that isn't entirely true.

Where there is sunshine, there are shadows, and let it not be forgotten that sunshine burns.

Drastic changes from Naruto canon seem to be good in theory: in Konoha, Uchiha Obito was saved by the Yondaime Hokage and lives on as Hokage of Konoha after his mentor's retirement. Because of this, the Kyuubi was never released on Konoha and the Uchiha never rebelled. They instead thrive within the village and continue to protect the peace. A please that is so much further flung than simply Konoha at this point in the story. There is a solid, cooperative truce between the Five Great Nations, one which has been in place for years.

However, turmoil churns underneath, and five countries are not the entire world. That is not to say that the old regime, and all its problems, is gone however. In Suna, the Yondaime Kazekage was never murdered and still presides over Sunagakure. In Kiri, because the bloodline massacres never came to pass, Yagura has not been overthrown. And hidden away in Otogakure, Orochimaru thrives in full-health, having never had his arms nor powers sealed by Hiruzen.

Is it any surprise that these are a poor mix which is putting the whisper of bloodlust in the ears of those who felt they were deprived their fair share when the Kage nations decided to make peace? No, it's no surprise at all. It would just take a single last spark to set off the Fourth Great Shinobi War, a war which would surpass all others and engulf the entire world in a brutal, deadly fire.

For your character, this could mean a game of politics, battles, secretive missions, and deadly alliances, all leading to the cautious shaping of Sunshine's future. Or, so long as these broiling undertones remain beneath the surface, unsparked, daily life may go on as normal in the warming sunshine of this apparent peace.

Ninja characters will be in prime position to affect the pull of politics and war, while civilian characters are more likely to be successful at avoiding these intricacies if they so choose. Then again, civilians are the cause of many a mission, are they not? Wars have begun over less, and insults are sometimes far too easy to pay. Politics are confined to no one, if you so wish to involve yourself in them. The general world tension is part of the overarching mod plot, which the players are kept generally apprised of, but the player-characters will, through their choices and actions, determine the intensity of this plotted course.

Sunshineverse is panfandom that accepts both original characters and minor characters. The reason for this is simple. The changes to the history mean that there is a lot more room for characters, who would by all accounts be 'dead' in the canon Naruto universe, to exist. Even if they were never from this canon in the first place.

Every character that steps into this game, even Naruto characters, will undergo a back-story overhaul, as decided by their player, to fit the Alternate Timeline of this setting. So if you ever wanted to see what your character would be like if they were a ninja, a shopkeeper, or perhaps a nobleman in a Daimyo's house... well, here's your chance.

A failed invention, science that went horribly wrong, an equation that wasn't meant to be... the space-time that held reality together collapsed, caving and distorting the world into something no one recognized. At least... not as a whole.

For those that survived, the world they found themselves in was familiar and strange at the same time. Creatures and beings thought never to exist outside of the imagination were suddenly real. The scientists sought to explain the mystery, and began to realize that it was no, in fact, that the universe had collapsed or broken in...

...It was that time itself had compressed, and the fluctuations of the every changing and growing universe were pressed into one point, bringing into existence things long gone and things to come.　Peoples from different worlds and different times, billions of years and different universe collapses and rebirths apart, all in the same place.

While all the new groups of beings find themselves together, the Unified Universe Project is determined to try and reverse the effects, and return space and time to their normal states. While the confused wander the broken mishmash of landscapes, some beings do not take lightly to have their existence so altered.

adstringendum is a slow-to-medium paced game set in a ruined, post-apocalyptic city. Even the safe parts of the city aren't as safe as one might hope, and regular (usually bi-monthly) events can make things even more difficult - or at least more interesting. The events can range from light-hearted to very dark, but usually Adstringendum's genre is post-apocalyptic survival with some horror elements.

We are community-based, and while we don't allow AUs or canon OCs, most other characters are welcome. We've been around for awhile, and we're very welcoming to new players! Reserves are currently open, and there is a test drive meme open as well. Apps open on [DATE].

The Warehouse

Welcome to the Warehouse.
The Agents of the Warehouse have been tasked with keeping the world safe from dangerous Artifacts. They travel the world, searching for these objects with mystical powers, and bring them back to the Warehouse for safe storage. Unfortunately, not everyone believes Artifacts should be tucked away and out of the hands of the general public. And some wish to take down the Warehouse altogether.

An Artifact has been broken in two – on accident or on purpose, the Agents haven’t yet figured out. What is clear is that when the Artifact was broken, it tore a hole in the barriers between this reality and all the other universes that exist.

In its broken state, this Artifact has started pulling people from their universes into this one. Innocent lives, ripped from their home, out of space and out of time, with no way back until the Agents find the missing half of the Artifact and make it whole again.

Worse, it seems someone is bent on making not only the Agents’ lives difficult, but the lives of all these people now in the Agents’ care as well. The Agents are scrambling to find the broken part of the Artifact and fix the tear between universes. They are doing all that they can, but it might not be enough.

Welcome, Fellow Traveler! The elevator pitch: Exiles meets Diana Wynne Jones’ Homeward Bounders. If you’re familiar with Sliders or Quantum Leap, there’s a bit of that too.

Synodiporia is an AU-hopping panfandom exploration game where ‘event’ and ‘setting’ are one and the same. Unknown entities have gathered a group of people from across the multi-verse, and sent them on a long, strange journey together, crashing into one world after another, meddling in local affairs, and then whisking them off again. In each world some of the travelers are ‘investigators,’ conscious of the fact that they’re new arrivals in a foreign dimension, and some are ‘infiltrators,’ believing themselves to be natives, immersed in local customs, with implanted memories of a life that never was.

As the travelers progress from world to world, they learn new skills - from the natives or from one another. In prohibition-era Brooklyn, gangsters might teach someone how to shoot a tommy gun. In a fantasy kingdom, you might pick up a little wizardry. A PC from the Persona franchise might teach you how to unlock your own Persona, no matter what canon you’re from. You can also learn to manipulate the psychic network linking everyone together, gaining telepathic or dimensional manipulation abilities. As you change the worlds, the worlds change you.

We accept all original characters as well as alternate universe and previous game versions of characters, and under certain conditions, we also can accept multiple versions of the same character. When you apply, your character can be new to Traveling, or a veteran who’s been doing this for quite some time. More information about veteran Travelers can be found on the Previous Universes & Acquiring Skills pages, as well as suggestions for introing a veteran character here.

Besides that, there will be additional mini-events in pocket universes, player plots, dream explorations, Shadow Selves… and the ongoing investigation into the mysterious forces that drew you here. You’re pawns in a game spanning time and space, but a pawn who advances far enough can make big changes, and there are plenty of secrets to uncover.

Synodiporia’s next app round is from December 1st to December 7th. We have a cap of 100 characters, however we currently have about 45 characters, so we have plenty of room for new faces! We do not currently have reserves, but we highly recommend if you are interested in applying to post to the test drive and get to know some of our current characters.

In a time not so long ago, a new planet named zodion was created in a distant galaxy with the last vestiges of magic bestowed upon the Twelve; a planet created for the sole purpose of housing refugees from multiple planets— multiple galaxies— from the forces of the Rasalhague. It was the most the Twelve could do to escape as the last of their people, and the last who knew of the Rasalhague's true intentions, finding themselves left in dire need and powerless on a small, dark world. ...Long story short, the war has come to an end and the planet of Zodion is gone; destroyed, alongside the majority of the Rasalhague. Now they're traveling to a new home, the planet of ophiuchus originally belonging to the Rasalhague, long since exiled from their solar system for the pollution and destruction of their precious planet.

Ophiuchus is an 18+ SEX GAME continuing the storyline of zodion that centers around sex, or "worship", applied as a creative means for world-building and restoring the life of the planet with monthly events centered around zodiac complementarities and other world-building events. Heavy elements to the plot will be exploration, world-building events for new environments and locations, adaptation to a rural world, and fantasy. (And sex, lots of sex.)

We have a flexible 10+ comment smut activity requirement roughly every other month, and a low to medium activity requirement in general with rewards for more. As-is the game is slow to medium-paced, with reserves regularly scheduled from the 5th~8th of every month, and applications from the 8th~15th. There is also a mandatory HMD every other month that ties into the activity check!

The Bastion

Designed by talented mechanics, the Bastion was meant to be both a sanctuary and a defense mechanism at once. Should the world ever fall into war, the Bastion could be activated, giving refugees a safe place to flee to. The Bastion was meant to be self-monitoring, and could take care of all the needs of its population without any interference.

However, nobody expected the Calamity. Millions perished in the blink of an eye, and the world itself was torn to shreds. All that remains is the Skyway, a collection of floating lands that occupy the space once inhabited by an entire world. The Calamity was so terrible that the Bastion itself was damaged, and it lacks the power necessary to repair itself.

In order to repair the Bastion, characters will have to search for Cores on the Skyway. They provide the power necessary for the Bastion to repair itself, and each Core brings the Bastion one step closer to being 100% operational. Until then, everyone who survived the Calamity will have to work together to survive and keep the monsters of the Skyway out of the Bastion, or else the last sanctuary of mankind will fall to the horrors that lurk outside its borders.

The Bastion is a panfandom, plot-heavy game set in the world of Bastion with a focus on the consequences of choices made by the characters within the game. Characters will be able to shape the setting as they see fit, and ultimately it is up to them to repair the Bastion and make a new home for all living creatures. You do not have to have played Bastion to app into this game.

· While there are some slice-of-life elements in it, this is primarily a plot-driven game.
· There are survival elements to the game. Characters had to scavenge for supplies and look for survivors. The areas characters can search through expand with each plot-related event.
. In addition to the survival elements, the characters are also looking for information on why the Calamity happened, as well as how it happened.
· Game-wide events are designed to fit into the overarching plot of Bastion.
· Plot-related events happen once every four-to-six weeks. Smaller, mini-events happen in-between those.
· Actions characters take will have an effect on the game itself. Both positive and negative consequences can come from choices made.
· The game has a set ending point. There are several different possible endings to the game, depending on the choices characters make.
· Prior knowledge of Bastion is not necessary; all important terms and game locations are described on the information pages.
· Teamwork is required for survival.

That's right, no matter what sort of life you had before you got here, brace yourself - you're now a passenger on the starship Enterprise. Will you try to join Starfleet? Will you try to start your own trading outpost? Or will you just hang around the lounge and grouse?

ten_fwd is a community-based jamjar with a twist game that takes place within the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe. There is an overarching plot that characters are invited to contribute toward: they have been ported to the Enterprise by Q, who's marooned your character in the far future with the TNG crew, and cut their engines off to boot; however, you are also invited to make your own mischief, and most if not all game plots will be optional.

While the ultimate goal is at first to rein in Q, there's going to be plenty of room for slice-of-life shenanigans and missions to distant planets, with organized quarterly events. AC will happen every six months, and if you have any more questions, check out the FAQ.
