So a quick rundown: A vast majority of the gameplay and plot centers around adventure *YAY ADVENTURE*, and slice of life stuff with random events. Players are currently living on an airship traveling across the world of Empyreah, via airships, searching for ancient artifacts called Regalia which are said to have the power to send people back to their own worlds. There is a more underlying plot which will be revealed gradually, and there will also be missions and random events occurring each month or every other month depending on pace.
The game also deals heavily with powers being supported by artifacts known as Bracers, rather than abilities being powered by whatever power source characters have in canon; magic, mana, ki, etc. WIthout the use of these bracers, characters will not be able to use their abilities.

I can offer two games with castmates.

I play in the Avatar cast (Iroh) over at Tu Shanshu/tushanshu. We have a Zuko, but I'd totally dig any Korra characters, since right now we only have a Korra and a Wan. (A bit confused if you mean Admiral Iroh/Zuko's grandson, or the original Iroh in Korra-era.) The game is wrapping up a major plot at the moment, so it will be slow until December, and possibly until January. The mods have informed us that the game is shifting from a battle against evil to an exploration and politics, with plots involving dreams.

Other than that, I play Robin in saudade_rpg which is a tiny game that is a bit slice-of-life, but also features regular mission plots to other worlds. The mods are working on getting longer-running plots: we had one this fall about dream eaters. It's loosely based on Kingdom Hearts, but I'm canon blind and do fine. It's also power-swap, in that characters end up with Final Fantasy style magic. (Wouldn't make that much of a difference to Awakening characters, TBH.)

Have you considered forestcovered? It's a slow to medium paced slice-of-life game, based loosely on Spirited Away - characters come in as debtors working at a resort for spirits, working to pay off their debt and get a wish in return. It's only a tiny bit memory loss: they only forget their names and can get those back later.

The AC is 20 comments every two months, 10 from each. I know our FE:A cast would love an Anna, I personally would love Hinako as an extended castmate (I play Aleph), but anyone would be great!

So, um, I have literally the worst possible castmate to offer, but have you considered tartarusnet? The WATXM cast consists entirely of Toad here, but there's also a big 616 cast if you'd prefer that, and while we have no YJ characters, there are a lot of superpowered teens around, too. It's a horror game, but there's a good mix of events and they're mostly optional. There's a lot of backtagging and the general speed varies, but medium is probably about average? Have you heard about cyclicality? It seems to all of your guidelines. It is an AU game, but you have the option of either having your character arrive from canon or AUing them into the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Essentially, the game is set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender / The Legend of Korra and during the latter show's time period. It's around a slow to medium pace currently, and the AC is 15 comments per month split between at least two threads. It's also very friendly towards minor characters, so I think Mona could do fine there. If you need any more details, feel free to let me know!

Not there with this guy, but you could give forestcovered a look? It's a slice of life fantasy game based on myth, folklore, and Ghibli films, particularly Spirited Away, and it's been very evenly paced and relaxing to keep up with so far! AC is pretty easy: 20 comments every 2 months, 10 each month.

While characters forget their names and are given new ones by the Witch, all the rest of their memories are intact. And although the network is more like an IC bulletin board than a network-network, it's still definitely there. (I screw around with the format and have my character icly doodle all over it aaaahahha)

Hi there!

Might I suggest thegames? We're a robust game based around The Hunger Games universe. Every other month or so, characters are thrown into a death arena to fight to the death. Outside the arena, there's brewing over-arching rebellion plot, mini-plots both player and Mod created, and some minor slice of life shenanigans.

We can be busy in the midst of plots and when arenas open, but even at our busiest everyone is very backtag friendly; and while our AC can look intimating when you first look at it because it's very different from what most games ask for, it's actually very very easy to meet the requirement. (Actions in game are tallied up for "credits," that you can later use for in game purposes. Different actions - tagging out, making a post, reaching certain thread lengths - earn you different amounts of credits. To meet AC you only need 100 credits. Earned in any fashion you choose.)

We do have some castmates for both Mags, obviously, and/or Javert. In fact, our Les Miserables cast is one of the biggest over the whole game.

I would love, love, love to see people from this cute little cartoon! adstringendum is a small game, with a new supernatural/mystery plotline starting up; it's primarily survival, no extreme horror with gore/torture (unless people would like to do that with whatever events come up, but it's nothing mandatory, and I don't see it often). I have this kid character over there myself from the movie Mama, so more friends near her age is muy bueno, haha.
