The King of Conquerors, however, is someone I would very much like to see at empatheias! While we only have Saber and (FSN)Archer, I... well, I'll be honest, I just really want to see Iskander played somewhere. As for the game itself, it is staged upon a floating island, above a desolate land below. Said island, and many functions that are within, are powered by emotions. It even effects the immediate area around them if it is strong enough. Small tasks that can be tackled by a group show up every month, so there is usually something to do.

It takes place in Wonderland as if your character has awoken there, but it's not just slice of life... It's a twisted version of wonderland that can go from SoL to horror events to hilarious events and so on!

It matches the requirements you have listed. empyreanskies is a jam-jar, currently slow to medium paced (depending on player tagging) community based game with a -super- easy AC: just 3 comments out of a 6 comment thread per month! Applications will be open until January 11th; and we all welcome backtagging like beasts.

The basic premise is that the people who are pulled to this world live on an airship and go on adventures traveling across the world searching for ancient artifacts called Regalia which are said to have the power to send people back to their own worlds. There is a more underlying plot which will be revealed gradually, and there will also be missions and random events occurring each month or every other month depending on pace.

The game also deals heavily with powers being supported by artifacts known as Bracers, rather than abilities being powered by whatever power source characters have in canon; magic, mana, ki, etc. WIthout the use of these bracers, characters will not be able to use their abilities. (But we don't like micromanaging people and the use of their abilities so we have a trust system in place for that)

Have you taken a look at ryslig? It's a medium-paced-ish horror game (with a speed flux around the first few days of events) that works under the premise that characters are slowly turning into monsters. It's community based, and from what I've seen, is very backtag friendly. There are no castmates for Dorian, or for Cullen (yet; but I imagine there will soon be an influx given another app round). For Akihiko, there's a Persona cast that includes a Minato, Mitsuru, Ryoji, and Shinjiro.

ataraxion is a sci-fi horror game with a mystery plot that's medium-paced and very backtag friendly, and although it limits some powers if they would be gamebreaking, my unauthorized guess is that Cole's abilities wouldn't be an issue. My other unauthorized guess is that the events would give him a ton to do!

As far as canonmates go, I currently have Fenris in the game (and he'd be SO THRILLED about Cole, haha... ha...), plus we have a Hawke and a Sebastian Vael, and I'm wishing and hoping for an influx of Inquisition characters. And I've adored Cole ever since Asunder came out, so I'd love a chance to throw all my other Ax characters at him, too.

You would not have castmates but I'd love to see any of them, especially your bioware characters at tartarusnet! There are a number of characters that Liara could potentially get along with (I can't stop thinking about how cute Lara from Tomb Raider and Liara could be).

Anyway, the game itself is slow to medium depending on individual tag speeds. It's very backtag friendly and there's no mandatory top level posts for AC. AC can be made up of any 2 of the following: a post, a thread with at least 5 comments from you, or a log with at least 5 comments from you. Plot wise, it's a horror game where you've been brought to the Underworld, marked with your sins, and then are put through tests to see if you can change. Tests are events that vary, sometimes they're things based on the marks, sometimes they're things based on horror movies or games (we had a Mass Effect themed event where people were transformed partially into husks) and sometimes they're just adding something new to the environment and then the event changes based on what people do to whatever was added.

And even though you said you're looking for medium paced or slower, I thought I'd throw it out there that maskormenace has a Mass Effect cast that's always looking for more people! Currently we have Jacob, Kaidan, male Shepard, Thane, and I play Samara. The game is more towards the high end of medium to fast paced though. People are great with backtagging but with events, especially logs, it can get pretty fast and big. AC is pretty easy though, you need two pieces that can be any combination of: a post, 3+ comments from you in a log, or 15+ comments in a thread.
