Hello!! We have a teeny Dangan Ronpa cast at thebastion right now consisting of Aoi (from late chapter 2) and Naegi (from chapter 3), as well as Ibuki from SDR2 (early chapter 3), with a Togami and a Hinata on reserve, and we are all super interested in having more characters from both games or any of the spin-offs in the cast!

The Bastion is based off the video game Bastion but being familiar with the game isn't a necessity at all. The idea is that an apocalyptic event called the Calamity destroyed everyone's homeworlds and characters find their way to the Bastion, a floating island save haven-type deal.

The game's is pretty small and tends to be on the slower side of things, but the pace picks up a lot during events! It's very plot-based with a lot of room for player influence, both in the way plot stuff goes (character choices mean a lot for how events end up going and the mods have been making all kinds of adjustments on their own plans based on player character actions!) and in worldbuilding ways of any scale (Aoi, as an example, used her in-game currency to populate the Bastion with trees that grow donuts; other characters have made more serious changes).

In between events, which have a lot of variety to them—there are dangerous core hunts that involve fighting monsters but just as frequently mean having to come up with clever strategic solutions to keep everyone alive, but there have been diplomatic dealings with other groups of survivors requiring characters better at speaking than punching things—there's a lot of opportunity for slice of life stuff, or you can have your character keep doing dangerous things out on the Skyway; there's a lot of room to make what you want out of things! Powers aren't disabled which obviously isn't really relevant to the Dangans but the Dangans can obtain powers using in-game currency, which Aoi has heaps of because she's been in-game so long so if whoever you app wants to shoot fireballs or whatever she will do them that solid.

Apps are closing at the end of April, but endgame isn't happening until several months after that—there's no set date but the mods scheduled apps closing with the goal of making sure everyone who apped in late would have plenty of time to build CR and get stuff done, so please don't feel put off by that!

Any Dangans at all would be super adored, but in particular I put in my vote for having DR1 characters who died during chapter one or two, Naegi's player wants a Kyouko Kirigiri, and Ibuki's player would be pleased as punch to have any of her classmates!

Apps are processed biweekly and the next processing date is the 11th of April!
