Completely and utterly late to this, but I am trying to lure people into a couple different games...

On one side of the spectrum, there's hfm_ooc - which I'm mostly bringing up for Amythest. We've got Rose, we've got Steven, we've got Greg, and we've got Peridot... and that's it.

The cast list in general is small, but tends to group up in fandoms right now. It's definitely slow paced, with an easy AC.

The basic idea behind it is that people have been drawn into a new world in order to fight a force that takes the form of dark creatures - using magical powers that they've been granted for the purpose. These powers replace whatever powers they previously had.


...Then, on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, is townofsalem. That one's also slow, light AC, and has no real casts. But it's also a mixture of horror, and smut, and monster transformations. It's fun, but definitely not for everyone.

I'm glad you asked~ The mod team got new blood last month, so thing have been shifting pretty dramatically.

This month, the town's been attacked by a dragon-lady. Some people signed up to be kidnapped, and others are either fleeing for their lives or launching a rescue mission depending on their personalities.

Last month, we had a weather event where winds from the forest blew in some pollen from the dryads, creating lust and trying to lure people into the forest. (...Bad idea. Dryads might show you a good time, but they'll also feed you to their trees.)

Day to day things are mostly player driven right now: people are dealing with their gradual transformations, trying to find out the true cause behind their affliction, trying to find a cure...

But the metaplot is getting ready to kick off in a big way. How things will progress will depend on how the people react.

To be honest, we hit a slow patch when our founder got side swiped by real life. With the new mods, though, things are taking off again and we're trying to build the player base up again. Also, there might be an Erza there, who might be me, who might be turning into a two inch fairy. If you've ever wanted to see that.
