AHSOKA TANO star wars rebels

- like games with a network comm + log comms
- also like cames that allow a combination of ac
- slower paced
- easy ac
- cast mates are not necessary
- nor are abilities

There is a Maketh Tua at [community profile] hadriel! It's not a slow game, but it is backtag friendly and meets your other requirements.

Haha, I was just coming here to post this after looking up the AC and stuff, but someone else beat me to it!

It's not slow, but it's not very fast either -- I'd put it at a solid medium pacing that picks up around events, but most folks do backtag stuff well. Maketh's player is a total sweetheart who is particularly good about keeping up with things and finishing threads! We also have a Hux, who isn't really a castmate, but you know. Same universe, at least?

AC is "20 network comments per month or 10 log comments per month or a combination of the two, with log comments counting for 2 network comments." I'm not the fastest player in existence, and it's been pretty easy for me to keep up with, especially since there's a pretty good amount going on at any given month.

I'm happy to answer any questions I can! The latest test drive just went up today if you want to poke around there!

Hmm. I'm not familiar with the game, but I'll give it a look over!

How often to events happen? Once a month, or?

There's been an event just about every month I've been in the game -- usually two, with the event at the start of the month being more of a mini-event to tide us over until the intro log happens. The story is that the gods are trying to incite emotions from the people in the city because they sort of feed on them, and they're trying to use that power to resurrect more gods, so each event is generally tied to one of the gods (currently Hope, Fear, Rage, and Delight).

Just this month, we had a bunch of fireflies come into town that made people happy when they got near -- and happy to the point of intoxication of there were to many of them. Then was the intro log, which brought more fireflies into the city, but these were of the exploding variety. And currently, we have a dreamwalking event going on where dreams can be influenced by one of the four gods, so folks are having lots of fun being forced to visit dreams. We've also had assassin-based events where people were pushed to murder folks, an event where people turned into wendigos, one where half the city was buried alive, a party that lasted for days on end -- there's a wide spectrum, so if one thing isn't up your alley, the next thing might be, and you can always opt out if you're really not feeling something.

+1 come join us, our Maketh is utterly spectacular. Also while I haven't gotten to Rebels yet, I selfishly adore Clone Wars Ahsoka!!

Come check out The Fleet. It might fit what you're looking for.

It's a sci-fi setting - a fleet of alien ships that travel through alien galaxies. All characters are depowered upon arrival, with the opportunity to get their powers back; however, all characters also have the opportunity to gain other kinds of powers, too. Or they can stay non-powered, that's just fine. We are slow to medium pace, we have a meta plot but it allows for slice-of-life elements, too. Our AC amounts to one or two instances of play a month, with additional activity getting your character stuff in game.

We have a TDM, if you want to test it out.

We have a sizable SW cast. Anakin here would love to see his former Padawan again.

I was wondering if I might be able to interest you in [community profile] halloweentown? It's set in Nightmare Before Christmas' Halloween Town and characters can explore other holidays while also turning into the creatures of said holidays.

What's the pacing like there?
onebadapple: (Now what should I do?)

[personal profile] onebadapple 2016-05-22 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
The game just opened in April and has a small taken list so it's slow but it's not a snail's pace.
