ADSTRINGENDUM

A failed invention, science that went horribly wrong, an equation that wasn't meant to be... the space-time that held reality together collapsed, caving and distorting the world into something no one recognized. At least... not as a whole.

For those that survived, the world they found themselves in was familiar and strange at the same time. Creatures and beings thought never to exist outside of the imagination were suddenly real. The scientists sought to explain the mystery, and began to realize that it was no, in fact, that the universe had collapsed or broken in...

...It was that time itself had compressed, and the fluctuations of the every changing and growing universe were pressed into one point, bringing into existence things long gone and things to come.　Peoples from different worlds and different times, billions of years and different universe collapses and rebirths apart, all in the same place.

While all the new groups of beings find themselves together, the Unified Universe Project is determined to try and reverse the effects, and return space and time to their normal states. While the confused wander the broken mishmash of landscapes, some beings do not take lightly to have their existence so altered.

adstringendum is a slow-to-medium paced game set in a ruined, post-apocalyptic city. Even the safe parts of the city aren't as safe as one might hope, and regular (usually bi-monthly) events can make things even more difficult - or at least more interesting. The events can range from light-hearted to very dark, but usually Adstringendum's genre is post-apocalyptic survival with some horror elements.

We are community-based, and while we don't allow AUs or canon OCs, most other characters are welcome. We've been around for awhile, and we're very welcoming to new players! Reserves are currently open, and there is a test drive meme open as well. Apps open on [DATE].

New York City. The Big Apple. Specifically, Manhattan. Twenty-three square miles of city, from the glowing lights of Broadway to the manicured lawns of Central Park. And it's a bit different than you would remember.

The Hudson River, curling around the west side of the island, has a rather unusual habit of changing people who are brave enough to go for a little swim. Walk the streets of the city and you'll see a woman with hair made of snakes, a man roasting chestnuts on the corner with flames from his bare hands, a teenager check the clock and with a shriek of alarm, turn into a pigeon and fly off.

Not everyone tries their luck in the river. A little less than half the population think it's not worth the risk. Everyone knows someone who was "gifted" with acidic saliva or the tendency to burst into flame when excited or any number of equally unpleasant things. But, for most people in Manhattan, being Altered is a basic fact of daily life.

And so it has been for as long as anyone can remember. Very recently, the river has been learning new tricks. It's started spitting out people, from other places, both fantastical and mundane. Odd occurrences are taking place on land as well. People have been going missing, a plague struck Manhattan last fall, and they finally caught targeting Altered natives and Drifters alike. Currently the city has been trying to cope with the aftermath of an alien robot invasion that laid waste to major parts of the city. Tensions are at an all-time and the atmosphere of the city has shifted to one of unease and distrust.

Altered States is a panfandom and OC-friendly roleplaying game set in an alternate version of Manhattan. The game is a modern mix of science fiction and fantasy, with a liberal smattering of dark, gritty, and urban themes. We are prose based, backtag-friendly and have a strong emphasis on character relationships and plot, both moderator and player created. Over the last month we've been running the most plot-intensive storyline the game has seen thus far. Unwanted, otherworldly robots have been wreaking havoc across the city and the aftermath launched Phase Two in the continuing saga. We hope to see you join in the excitement!

THE OMEGAFRIENDS

About Us

In the West Coast city of Venture City, there are Hipsters, Video Game Developers, and quite the preponderance of super-powered individuals! The city’s been in the middle of a Supers boom recently, and last year, former superhero The Protector started organizing an organization for heroically-minded powered individuals - the Omegafriends!

The Omegafriends are a semi-secret organization who help with protecting your normal friends and family from villains, so that you can focus on saving the day and keeping your cover story intact. The former isn’t especially optional, though - because the boom has created piles and piles of supervillains, too, and you’re now one of the best people to stop them.

Wacky Antics, trying to keep your identity secret, strange supervillain schemes, the secret Omegabase - the Omegafriends have a lot on their plates, but they will always save the day!

Omegafriends is a Saturday Morning Cartoon Superhero AU RP about juggling day-to-day life with protecting the city from villainous catastrophe.

We feature a PG Rating, relaxed attitude, modest AC requirement and a strong encouragement for playing heroes, villains, and civilians of all stripes. We even have a special 'guest' system that allows a player to bring a villain in for one month with an extremely short app, for those kinds of concepts that just won't stick around long and are okay with that. Come in expecting goofy superheroic adventures, in general.

THERE ARE NO LOST CAUSES WHEN IT COMES TO LOST SOULS

lastvoyages is highly focused on character development and interactions. It's set on a physics-defying barge in unknown space, where everyone on board is either an inmate or a warden. Wardens are there to redeem inmates in exchange for absolutely anything! The Admiral fulfills their deal once they graduate an inmate. Deals can range from something as simple as wealth and riches to something as selfish (and/or noble) as the return of a deceased loved one. Inmates have died or are near death (canonically or under an invented circumstance), and are in need of a second chance: they get that opportunity on the Barge. The game is of a medium size and pace, journal based with an easy AC, with several small game wide events a month. It's a CR intensive game, often focusing on the serious side of redeeming morally corrupt or gray characters - but with cracky storylines and events worked in to lighten things up. Applications are always open! Ophiuchus is an 18+ SEX GAME that centers around sex, or "worship", applied as a creative means for world-building and restoring the life of the planet with monthly events centered around zodiac complementarities and other world-building events. Heavy elements to the plot will be survival, exploration, adaptation, and fantasy. (And sex, lots of sex.)

There is a flexible 10+ comment smut activity requirement roughly every other month, and a low to medium activity requirement in general with rewards for more. As-is the game is slow to medium-paced, with reserves regularly scheduled from the 5th~8th of every month, and applications from the 8th~15th. There is also a mandatory HMD every other month that ties into the activity check!

Tristan, the Nysgod prince, has come of age and he must choose a partner from among the mortal races. In an effort to aid him in this task, the Grasp was created.

Part shadow, part magic, part technology, the Grasp has begun drawing people into the city of Dagaz from all worlds and times touched by the Nysgod people. Your race, gender, age, and species are of no importance. If the Grasp finds something interesting in you, if it thinks you might be a suitable partner for Prince Tristan, you will be found.

Throne of Shadows is a panfandom RPG with a slant toward high fantasy and science fiction, with interactions that will take place in both log and network formats. Taking place in the mythical city of Dagaz, the game guides players through the twists and turns of Nysgod politics as the shocking past of the realm is slowly revealed.

While there is an over-arching metaplot that will be revealed in stages, Throne of Shadows is also a player plot friendly game, allowing players to create their own shenanigans within the confines of the story. We are smut-friendly, although not smut-centric.

GAME SUMMARY;

Holly Heights is a panfandom roleplay focusing on the simpler things in life. Rainstorms, street fairs, family outings. The only danger to you here is the possibility of a neighbourhood tussle or a minor fender bender going to the old grind stone. School dances and parades are more common here than murders and thefts. Kick back and relax. You don't have to pay your landlord with anything but your presence in his beautiful town. No rent and only the occasional unexpected drop in. He wants everyone to be comfortable. He doesn't want you to leave.

Milliways Bar: A Multifandom Game set within the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Universe

milliways_bar is a medium-fast paced, community-based, prose-based panfandom jamjar game, set within the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Universe. Characters are allowed to move freely from their world to the titular Bar At The End Of The Universe through doors - which on their side of the door might be anything from a porthole to a hole in the ground, and from there can either willingly move back and forth between worlds, stay upstairs at the Bar's inn or be "Bound" or trapped at Milliways without an escape hatch back for any length of time.

ten_fwd is a community-based jamjar with a twist game that takes place within the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe. There is an overarching plot that characters are invited to contribute toward: they have been ported to the Enterprise by Q, who's marooned your character in the far future with the TNG crew, and cut their engines off to boot; however, you are also invited to make your own mischief, and most if not all game plots will be optional.

While the ultimate goal is at first to rein in Q, there's going to be plenty of room for slice-of-life shenanigans and missions to distant planets, with organized quarterly events. AC will happen every six months, and if you have any more questions, check out the FAQ.

There are dog tags around your neck and some kind of digital imprinting on your wrist that seems to glow in the dark and reads: ʀᴇɢɪsᴛᴇʀᴇᴅ ʜᴇʀᴏ. "So, hero," says a woman's voice, her face in shadows as a machine hums into glowing blue life behind her. "You're about to be a part of something bigger than yourself; I hope you're up for it." After months of hunting, I've personally found Rysling the perfect game for Valvatorez. That's, of course, if the mun themselves are also into body horror elements. The levels of horror are some-what controlled by the player! You're not asked to play out tons of transformations in detail, only that your character does transform. Val's currently under the impression that he's still just as vampiric as before, even though he's turning into a fish! Characters who were previously different monster are super fun here imo and I'd love to see anyone from Disgaea.

The CR wouldn't be extremely limited to purely adult characters~ Laharl, Etna, Flonne, Rozalin, Axel, Mao, Raspberyl, and just about any other demon within the series have what normal human characters don't, the understanding what it's like being a demon. Now they just need to learn how to become a new one.....

The Bastion

Designed by talented mechanics, the Bastion was meant to be both a sanctuary and a defense mechanism at once. Should the world ever fall into war, the Bastion could be activated, giving refugees a safe place to flee to. The Bastion was meant to be self-monitoring, and could take care of all the needs of its population without any interference.

However, nobody expected the Calamity. Millions perished in the blink of an eye, and the world itself was torn to shreds. All that remains is the Skyway, a collection of floating lands that occupy the space once inhabited by an entire world. The Calamity was so terrible that the Bastion itself was damaged, and it lacks the power necessary to repair itself.

In order to repair the Bastion, characters will have to search for Cores on the Skyway. They provide the power necessary for the Bastion to repair itself, and each Core brings the Bastion one step closer to being 100% operational. Until then, everyone who survived the Calamity will have to work together to survive and keep the monsters of the Skyway out of the Bastion, or else the last sanctuary of mankind will fall to the horrors that lurk outside its borders.

The Bastion is a panfandom, plot-heavy game set in the world of Bastion with a focus on the consequences of choices made by the characters within the game. Characters will be able to shape the setting as they see fit, and ultimately it is up to them to repair the Bastion and make a new home for all living creatures. You do not have to have played Bastion to app into this game.

· Apps are processed every two weeks. Our next app date is one week from now, on August 2nd.
· While there are some slice-of-life elements in it, this is primarily a plot-driven game.
· There are survival elements to the game. Characters had to scavenge for supplies and look for survivors. The areas characters can search through expand with each plot-related event.
. In addition to the survival elements, the characters are also looking for information on why the Calamity happened, as well as how it happened.
· Game-wide events are designed to fit into the over-arching plot of Bastion.
· Plot-related events happen once every four-to-six weeks. Smaller, mini-events happen in-between those.
· Actions characters take will have an effect on the game itself. Both positive and negative consequences can come from choices made.
· The game has a set ending point. There are several different possible endings to the game, depending on the choices characters make.
· Prior knowledge of Bastion is not necessary; all important terms and game locations are described on the information pages.
· Teamwork is required for survival.

GAME SUMMARY;
Forest Covered is a panfandom slice of life RPG taking a loose base from world mythologies, folklores, and the body of work of Studio Ghibli; particularly Spirited Away.
Characters are indebted to the witch who rules over this island called Koriko, so they would come almost willingly in order to fulfill their debt, as opposed to getting kidnapped. This, of course, gives more ways for players to get creative in making the characters work for the witch.

We have a monthly intro post and mingle post, making it easy for old and new players alike to interact with new characters and more. There's also a monthly event, as well as smaller ones that serve as a prompt for us to get creative around the setting, so finding an activity for your character isn't all that difficult.
The pace is slow to medium, and although heavily log-based (there is a bulletin board which is basically the network in this game) we're very backtag friendly! AC is very lax, you're only required to check in every 2 months with proof of 10 comments of activity from each month.

thewake is a panfandom community based game that currently has a bitty Blazblue cast, and we'd like to have more! Right now we have Nu-13 and Hazama causing massive headaches for everyone else in the game, so more people should come to prove that not everyone from their world is crazy. Like that would ever work.

The basic premise of The Wake is you find yourself in a city called Nautilus, where your objective is to grow and change. Through sheer willpower you can bend the reality of the city to make just about anything you want, which is how characters get to "keep" their powers. It's an awesome place for player driven plots and of course there's the reality storms, AKA the game events, where something about the reality of the city goes haywire and crazy things happen.

Personally I would love to have literally the whole cast. But if I am required to make a list, I would be overjoyed to have: Ragna the Bloodedge, Celica A. Mercury, Noel Vermilion, Jin Kisaragi, Kokonoe, Trinity, Rachel Alucard, and Jubei. But I love the whole darn cast of characters and if you need icons I will make you some.

Welcome to Camp Fuck You Die, a slice of life jamjar game with both serious and cracky aspects to it. Where zombies and purple gorillas run amok and non-players are encouraged to participate through personal comments to the characters and NPCs. Here at the Camp, we strive to create an interactive fandom playstyle that borders on some damn well-constructed stupid. We also have events around once a month to stir the pot, as well as the background of being experiments in a larger game of things within camp.

Apps are ALWAYS OPEN and ALWAYS POSTED on Fridays. Our app system is based on voting you into the community, which can be sort of terrifying ( believe me, I know ), but it's very easy to get in- especially if you get a beta to help you. Apps are anonymous to players as well; only the mods know who's apping who, so that sort of takes away the fear, right? Basically, you email your app to our lovely mods at lolcampappslol @ gmail.com, and we post them up in batches for campers to vote on. You need a 70% to get in ( believe me, this is not hard ). And that's where betas come in. Betas are people already in the game who can show you the ropes on writing a good camp app. There's also a helpful How to apply link just in case you want to cover all your bases.

We provide two formats for apps. There's the first person sample or the in character survey. The in character survey you can mix and match on your own from a pool of questions we've provided, as well as the choice to make up your own question to showcase your character's personality any way you wish.
