▼ ABOUT US

▶ route_29 is a panfandom, medium-paced game set in the wonderful world of Pokémon! Specifically, Route is set in the Gen IV, HeartGold/SoulSilver incarnations of Johto and Kanto, but with an available Pokédex up through Gen V (with Gen VI becoming available in a month-long swarm event starting September 1st! We have made certain that newcomers can hop right in, so come join the fun), and plenty of exposure to elements of the other regions through mod-run events!

▶ No prior knowledge of Pokémon canon is necessary; we're very friendly to PokéExperts and complete newbies alike! As a predominantly slice-of-life game with regular mod-run events and plots, your Route experience can be as involved or as low-pressure as you make it; we've got a little something for everyone.

▶ We're also very open to player-run plots and villain-friendly — while participation in Team Rocket isn't mandatory for our more villainous characters, we're glad to put the ruthless organization's resources at their disposal when it comes to wreaking havoc on the nation!

▼ GAME BASICS

▶ Route is a journal-based game, but if the upkeep and maintenance of your journal's friends list is an issue, we keep the community's reading list updated for you so all you have to do is join the communities, the same as in any other game!

▶ We're medium-sized, with around 100 characters currently in play, and we run at a comfortable medium-slow pace: on average you're likely to see two to four new posts per day, but with natural fluctuations in speed — we run a little faster during events, and a little slower periodically. We're also very backtag-friendly!

▶ AC is quite manageable — just three proofs per month, which can be satisfied with any combination of posts, logs, or comment threads (totaling at least 10 comments, 5 from you and 5 from someone else).

▶ Our next app round is next weekend, with the app deadline on the 6th of September, midnight EST. If you're still not sure about Route, we currently have a GLORIOUS TEST DRIVE where you can mingle with our lovely player base and other app hopefuls! We hope to see you soon in the world of Pokémon!

The Station - A Panfandom Science Fiction Game.

You know how rivers all lead to the ocean? Throughout the universe are Time Rivers, vast flowing amounts of energy leading to and from different universes, piercing the barriers between them. Unfortunately, somehow, you ended up too close to one of the Time Rivers that leads here, the Dead Space. In the Dead Space lies the Station, the last remains of a once proud race. The Station just so happens to be the only civilization for countless light years, and there is no way out of the Dead Space. All the Time Rivers seem to lead in, but none lead out.

The Station is massive, run entirely by a small few and the Station's computer system, and the lone civilization in the Dead Space that seems to be otherwise completely inhospitable - planets with cannibal civilizations, unbreathable atmospheres, horrible creatures, and more. But since people started showing up on the Station, things have gotten more and more strange. Ripples of energy have crossed the Station more than once, and each time, something has gone terribly wrong, or at least, gone weird. Changing minds and bodies, bringing items and people only to take them away, spilling blood.

Bring yourself, bring your ship, bring your companion... but you'll never leave the Dead Space without help from the Station, and it and its people will never survive without you.

thestation is a panfandom, jamjar style science-fiction game set far into the future in a universe where all canons come together. The game's plot is a deep mystery, waiting for players to discover more and more of it through interaction and investigation. Each character will be given a unique scenario upon acceptance of their application of their waking situation when they appear at the Station. We are a small game, slow to medium-paced, and backtagging-friendly. Events range from silly crack to survival horror, mostly player requested and some plot-related. Afterward, you awakened before the Crystal of Fire in the city of Aqures Ixen, with your hand clutched on the very Crystal you found. As if it wasn't strange enough, your clothes changed as well. They are now a reflection of the Jobs you are wielding, mysterious powers granted to you by the Crystal. What does it all mean? Fear not, for you are surrounded by Moogles, small and fluffy creatures who are more than happy to inform you about everything you want to know.

They tell you that you are a Hero of Light! One of the legendary heroes who once fought the Calamity from the Skies and saved the world of Crystallis. Not believing it? Too bad, because people here do believe you are one of the legendary heroes. And the Moogle who told you all of that? Is now following you like your shadow. A Final Fantasy Panfandom RP

Melodies of Life is a Panfandom RP inspired by the Final Fantasy video game franchise. It is open to Canon Characters, Fandom AUs, OCs and Game Imports. Melodies of Life is a plot-centered game with a focus on adventure and exploration. Characters are stripped of their powers and given "Jobs" instead, mysterious powers granted to them by their Crystal. Up to two Jobs can be equipped at once and mastering them may be key to piercing the mystery of this world.

General Game Info

luceti is a journal-based game, known as "the game with the wings". It is a jamjar based on the premise of characters being suddenly trapped within an enclosure known as Luceti, where everyone has a pair of (non-flying) wings and a barcode on their necks. They're watched over by the morally ambiguous organization known as the Malnosso, who run experiments that usually are the cause of in-game events. It is largely considered to be slice-of-life but with openings for player plots, and there is also an ongoing plot which involves the war ravaging in the world outside the enclosure. It is considered to be a medium-paced game (with a spike during events which are usually monthly), and the AC is 30 comments over a one-month period every two months that can be split between three sources (posts and threads).

APPRENTICE WANTED

The allure of the sign is just too strong to resist, isn't it? Why, it seems to dismiss other pressing questions such as WHY AM I HERE? or maybe even HOW DID I GET HERE? or the ever troubling WHY ARE THOSE GNOMES STARING AT ME?

All important questions, but none so fascinating that this sign could not stir some curiousity in you! Last you remember, you'd been walking. Headed nowhere fast with your feet as your guide. It's the sign that brings you back to Earth, and it's almost as if you'd been day dreaming until now. Seems you'd taken a wrong left turn somewhere and come to be, as the Maku Maku call it, 'dirt-roaded'. The surroundings are unfamiliar to you, it appears as if you're in some sort of fantasy land. There are castles on the horizon and critters abound, but the only real lead you have is this sign with a fantastically flashy arrow.

The world of Oglaf is very much like a compilation and parody of fantasy and fairy tales. Your characters have been summoned by the sorceress known as The Mistress in order to liven things up a little. She will take everyone as an apprentice in order to humiliate them allow them to learn magic, but characters may opt out of their apprenticeship and take to the surrounding village. They will be stripped of their powers, but may gain them back through events of both a sexual and magical nature!

Welcome to Isla Empieza, a port town in this pirate inhabited world you're going to be living in for awhile. High Seas is a panfandom RPG that is a one part mod-controlled events (treasure hunts! sea beast attacks! a ticked off Naval force!), a couple parts slice of life (on a ship!), and many, many parts create your own adventure! In this mythical pirate world, the only preexisting city is Isla Empieza. Once you set sail from the island it's located on, the world is your oyster! Where your ship goes, the islands it discovers, all of this is up to you. You have total control over the types of places you want your character to visit.

They went in alone, and they never came back. The hole filled itself in almost as quickly as it had appeared, and left only small traces of a crystalline mineral, of apparently alien origin. Though the mystery has yet to be solved, the nation has mourned, and now life must go on.

The remains of the Alpha Force team look to refill their very prestigious membership. CONDOR is on a hunt for answers. Paranoia rises in the hearts of other heroes - because if the Alpha Force could fail, how could they expect to persevere? And all the while, TRIDENT lurks in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, but are they responsible? Or will they just know an opportunity to strike when they see it?

Sunshineverse: A Panfandom Naruto AU

Sunshineverse Premise

Sunshineverse is about what it sounds like. Everything seems happy, bright, and overall different from the dark abyss that the canon Naruto timeline seems to have spiraled into. Some of the drastic changes that one can expect to see in this game are things like this: Obito Uchiha is the Godaime Hokage, the Uchiha clan lives, the Yondaime Kazekage was never murdered, and Yagura was never overthrown during of the Kiri bloodline massacres... because those massacres never happened. All good things in theory, right? It would appear that way. That, you see, is only on the surface, and surface appearances can be deceiving. Underneath that veneer of the bright and happy is a level of uneasy bitterness that might at any time edge its way into war, if the wrong parties become offended at the wrong time. Political envoys are often closer to being hostages, sometimes ending up trapped in their host village if there is some sort of dispute between the two powers, and they might not even realize it. This, however, is a byplay that can easily be overlooked by a typical shinobi, one who doesn't pick up any plot missions, so if all you wish to play is day to day interactions and missions, then it is easy enough to dodge any broiling undertones... so long as they stay undertones. Civilian characters might be more successful at this, depending on their position in the world, as they are even less likely to deal with those plot missions than a shinobi would be. The general world tension will be part of the overarching mod plot, which the players will be kept generally apprised of, but it's the player characters that will determine if things really get intense. This game is panfandom and accepts both OCs and minor characters. After all, every character that steps into this game, even Naruto characters, will be getting a backstory makeover to fit the Alternate Timeline in this setting, as decided by their player. So have fun, and if you ever wanted to see what your character would be like if they were a ninja... well, here's your chance.

Sunshineverse Details

As the above summary probably showed, we are sort of a mixing pot of genres, but Adventure and Intrigue are probably the closest definitions you'll get, since we have everything from active combat missions, to huge shonen plot possibilities, and even slice of life on the table. Any fandom can be applied for, and if there are any questions about how to convert character powers between fandoms, the mods are always happy to answer them. OCs can be created for the world, or converted to the world, just as any fandom character can be, and we'll treat them all equally. The pace is currently about medium-slow, and we have a 1:1 day ratio... but in it will be up to our players if the speed picks up. We hope to see you there!

ABOUT US
❀ Kiseki is a panfandom slice-of-life jamjar game set in the separate world of Miracle Country, a series of islands with all kinds of magical mishaps and circumstances. It seems a pleasant enough place, aside from some underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle or cursed Storybrooke in Once Upon a Time).

❀ Kiseki is a CLAMP inspired (meaning series such as Card Captor Sakura, X/1999, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and Magic Knight Rayearth – just to name a few), but no prior knowledge of the manga-ka is necessary to join – it’s great for both CLAMP enthusiasts and canon-blind appers.

❀ Kiseki has both game-wide events and player-run plots which tend to run on at least a monthly basis (or sometimes twice a month).

❀ Kiseki is a small game (21 players and 56 characters) with a small and friendly player base, very backtag friendly and accommodating to all tagging-speeds; we have a bi-monthly AC that ranges from 30 to 40 comments total or one open post.

❀ Reserves are always open and last for one week, and the application itself is simple: no third person required!

❀ The game pace is overall medium-paced, sometimes faster during events and comments tend more towards comment-spam rather than prose.

❀ The game is comm-based and gameplay consists of both open logs and journal entries posted through magically-connected paper journals.

Brave New World is a community-based AU Pokémon game focused around exploration, discovery, and plot. You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're deposited on the floor of a stark, sterile, empty medical bay.

Don't worry. The disorientation usually wears off in less than thirty-six hours.

Ataraxion is a panfandom science-fiction/psychological horror RPG set in a universe not so different from our own. The game is primarily a character-driven jamjar, with an overarching plot that will conceal story elements from both the player base and the PCs. Characters will arrive in-game on the Titan-class colonization ship Tranquility, waking from grav couches located in the ship's medbay. The ship (mysteriously bereft of all original crew members, save two) is heading towards a way home—a deep-space jump point known only as Ataraxia. From there, according to the captain, characters will be able to return to their universes.

Over two years old, Ataraxion is a slow-paced game with a large plot every second month and a variety of minor monthly occurrences. Our monthly Activity Check is one post or one log or ten comments, and backtagging is welcomed and encouraged. Welcome to Ryslig Peninsula. You awaken on a hard, uncomfortable bed in a crude hospital room. A single dim lightbulb with a pull-string switch flickers above you. Your clothes are soaking wet, and you're covered in scratches and bruises - thankfully, all minor enough to heal on their own, although you can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with you.

The doctor will tell you you were pulled out of the water by a fisherman on the docks at sunset, just like the rest of them. You're in the port town of Vandare, on Ryslig Peninsula, he'll explain further. You'll be asked if you know where that is, and if you remember how you got here. Your answer will be no - just like the rest of them.

When you are released from the hospital, the townsfolk will look at you with a mixture of fear and pity. Almost anyone will help you if you ask, but some will gently encourage you to try and find shelter elsewhere. If you're lucky, you'll run into someone like you who can explain what has happened. If you're unlucky, you'll run into someone like you who is already too far gone...

Ryslig is a panfandom roleplay with body horror and general speculative fiction themes, based on the premise that all arriving characters are slowly transforming into monsters. About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. Welcome to the Warehouse.
The Agents of the Warehouse have been tasked with keeping the world safe from dangerous Artifacts. They travel the world, searching for these objects with mystical powers, and bring them back to the Warehouse for safe storage. Unfortunately, not everyone believes Artifacts should be tucked away and out of the hands of the general public. And some wish to take down the Warehouse altogether.

An Artifact has been broken in two – on accident or on purpose, the Agents haven’t yet figured out. What is clear is that when the Artifact was broken, it tore a hole in the barriers between this reality and all the other universes that exist.

In its broken state, this Artifact has started pulling people from their universes into this one. Innocent lives, ripped from their home, out of space and out of time, with no way back until the Agents find the missing half of the Artifact and make it whole again.

Worse, it seems someone is bent on making not only the Agents’ lives difficult, but the lives of all these people now in the Agents’ care as well. The Agents are scrambling to find the broken part of the Artifact and fix the tear between universes. They are doing all that they can, but it might not be enough.

To all those the Artifact has pulled to this universe, let us just say: Welcome to the Warehouse.

Space, that final frontier, is where many dream of finding exotic places, new peoples, and a different and more exciting way of life. Unless you were from a time and place where nobody had any idea what those sparkly dots were up there, but even then I bet you wondered.

Of course, none of that prepared you for waking up one morning, not in your bed, but in a random crate smelling of pet dander and ribbon candy. Or a cramped closet with stiletto heels poking you in the back. Or, if you were really unlucky, crammed in a freezer along with somebody's ice pops. After avoiding death by embarrassing suffocation, you'll get treated to your first look at the flying junk heap that you'll now get to call home for an indeterminate amount of time.

Welcome to Outbound Flight! Your mission, according to the angry guy on the public address system, is to explore the furthest reaches of the universe and maybe found the perfect society. Armed with your wits, your skills, and the nifty involuntary tattoo you got somewhere between when you arrived and when you woke up, it's up to you to decide if you'll aid this mission of exploration or hide in your quarters making space moonshine. Maybe you'll play along for the chance to get home.. maybe you'll end up saving the universe.

Why should you join Outbound?

A. We're a small, easygoing game! You can make new friends and interesting cross-canon CR! The pace is medium-to-slow and we are all happy to backtag into the sun.

2. We are the only game that we know of that does not have a quota-based AC. Just check in with a link and an activity summary and you're good to go! Saves you from having to count comments or worry about flunking out when you have a bad month!

III. We have a dynamic metaplot! Events happen bimonthly, and character choices big and small shape the plot. There is also a lot of freedom for players to take on important roles in the ship's day-to-day functioning (or not) -- we are not one of those space games where the NPCs run everything.

Four: It's in space. We are based veeeeeeeery loosely on an obscure Star Wars EU novel, which basically means we're stealing all the cool bits with the Force and lightsabers and ghost ship background and dumping what doesn't suit us to travel a completely original final frontier in style. The game is currently a mix of adventure, exploration, and mystery with a dash of slice of life and the occasional horror thrown in to keep it interesting.

A stranger asked you a question, and because it made sense at the time, you answered with yes. The next thing you knew, you're on a planet called Ajna with no way back home, and an upbeat young lady's thanking you for your highly-valued p— wait, back up.

Here's what happened: you have been consigned to the Cosmic Demolition Crew, and whether you were made fully aware of what you're in for or not, doesn't matter to them. You are now a CDC consignee, and your mission (which you have no choice but to accept) is to help them in their job: that of destroying worlds. The CDC (disease-related references unintended) once stood for Cosmic Development Contractors; they've obviously shed the last two words since they changed management a few... er, very long times ago. No one's really sure. The important part is you're now on their payroll, and until your contract is fulfilled, you're not going anywhere.

It sounds worse than it really is. Your status of employment to the CDC guarantees the safety of your home world from the wrecking ball of the Crew — you're actually kind of a hero. The CDC will also guarantee you one material object of your choice — or a person of choice. They'll pay you what you want, as long as you deliver. And you have to deliver, or so help you, they'll take your paycheck out of your home planet. So buckle up and hang on, or whatever the phrases are where you're from.

To put it in short, consignment is a sci-fi/action-based game where your character has been enlisted to destroy worlds. Upon recruitment, they will be put into a team based on their individual skills, and assigned missions by their team instructors for them to complete. It's a panfandom, Dreamwidth community-based and plot-based game that runs on a calender. Tagging speeds also vary between medium-paced to fast-paced.

While applications have just closed and no date for the next round has been released at the moment, I'll be sure to update anyone who's interested in joining.
