You may not know it, but your husband, daughter, and crazy Time Lord BFF have all accessed an interdimensional, possibly-sentient community called dramadramaduck. Currently Rory’s waiting at home with Amy for the Doctor to return with news of their daughter, while said daughter is off getting arrested for stealing pizza delivery cars and the like.

dramadramaduck is a medium/largish-sized game with varying paces and is community and journal-based. Things tend to pick up around application approvals and viruses/events, but aren’t terribly fast or slow in between. The concept of DDD is “what if characters had access to lj/dw/etc.” While we would prefer that Amy came from just before “Let’s Kill Hitler”, we can work with whichever timey-wimey canon point you want.

What we are:

We are a small, plot heavy game set in an interdimensional rebellion against a colonialist empire that's threatening your dimension. This is a multifaceted conflict, with a lot of room for moral ambiguity and intrigue. We have a focus on taking on the antagonists in a variety of ways that allow all characters to make a difference to the plot, from the completely mundane to the superhuman.

Why you should join us:

-Plot. Plotty plotty plot plot. And it's a plot your character's actions change. What they do decides whether whole dimensions are free or conquered.

-Friendliness to obscure canons and original character: No matter where your character comes from, they will recieve CR and have the chance to make a difference to said plot.

-Flexible, democratically elected and accesible mods: Our mods are elected by vote of all current players. We also vote on what event/mission/plot to take on next.

-Characters may come voluntarily or involuntarily to the setting: Some characters are sucked into the setting. However if you choose you may instead have your character be recruited into the cause from their home dimension.

-Room for villains and morally ambiguous characters: We love our villains! The especially evil or mercenary characters (or characters who genuinely believe the Empire is in the right) may choose to be agents/informants for the antagonists.

-Longevity: we've been going almost a year and a half

-Manageable pace

What we are not:

-A jamjar: While it is difficult for your character to return home, they may leave the setting.

-An action or sex game: While sex and violence do happen, they are not the central focus of the plot. That is not to say, however, that you can't do those things within the setting!

-A crack game: While there's plenty of humor in this game, it tends to be more dry, less YOU HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO A KITTEN ON A SEGWAY. Think more The Boondocks and Hitchiker's Guide, less Ren and Stimpy.

In a nutshell? thusia is a jamjar survival game on Dreamwidth where characters (post some kind of death) are trying to eke out a living in a hostile jungle with the help of the gods that brought them here.

I play a Zelgadis Graywords (imported from a previous game after he got his cure there), and would love to see some of the other cast of Slayers -- Lina, Amelia, Gourry, Xellos, etc. Since Thusia allows two of each character, you could even play a canon Zel... who probably won't be happy with his alternate.

Currently Zel is a lone canon warrior, but we had a Rezo for a while.

-Medium pace (about 10 posts a day or less on average, a bit faster during events), backtagging is loved and encouraged.
-Easy to get CR for obscure/lesser known characters
-Easy to make AC, 30 comments between 3 threads, posts or logs. AC runs the month before apps open.
-A nice mix of an overarching plot, events and player plots. The only limit in what there is to do is your imagination and time available.

WHAT: Set in an idyllic forest village where everything is free and all the residents have cute little feathery wings, at first glance luceti may seem nice! However, no matter how angelic and peaceful it sounds and can be, in the end, it's pretty rare for anyone to actually enjoy being there- especially considering all initially showed up against their will, and of course, due to the heavy experimentation, enforced participation in war drafts, and other such things that happen to those trapped there.

WHO'S THAR: Lightning and Hope have both been around for over a year now, and really miss their friends from home!!

An annoying alarm wakes you from your not-so-kind slumber. You're in a bed; this isn't your room. Actually, you've never seen this place at all. Head downstairs to the nice lady with kind smile handing you a backpack of supplies.

"Good luck on your journey today, honey!" she says. You don't have time to argue; you overslept! (Really? But you just got here.) And she rushes you out of the door. It locks behind you. Lights off. This building cannot be entered again.

And all around you, people you've never met roam, probably just as confused as you. The pokedex in your pocket bleeps. "Welcome to the world of pokémon, young trainer!" it speaks in a mechanical voice. "Are you ready? Your very own pokémon story is about to unfold. you'll face tough times and challenges. A world of dreams and adventure with pokémon awaits."

There's a sign next to a path. It's the only way to escape this puny little city, and that's by taking Route 29.
...but what is that music?

Route 29 is a journal-based roleplay, where your character is taken from your world and given the chance to raise and love a brand new pokemon in the regions of Johto and Kanto. You can start as a trainer, breeder, or rocket grunt.

route_29 is a journal-based, medium-paced game set in the world of Pokémon! Characters travel about as trainers, breeders, or Team Rocket grunts, raising their Pokémon and catching new ones!

We have a phenomenal Digimon cast into which I was enabled last ATP, heh, but would always love to swell our ranks! Currently we've got all the 02 kids, as well as Mimi - I'd love to see the other Chosen, or else some Tamers, Hunters, etc!

We're also in the process of rebuilding a Yu-Gi-Oh! cast! Currently the active characters are Ryou Bakura and Crow, but Malik and Yuugi are waiting to get their apps checked and there's also a Mai on reserve! I'm the Malik app and am particularly interested in Ishtar siblings, a Pharaoh, or a Jounouchi. But anyone is love.

The game is full of Persona 4 spoilers, however. So if you plan to play the game and hate them, wait until you get past the game.

After years of development and disaster, these aliens created the city of Taxon, a home for as close an approximation to life from Earth as they can manage. Placed safely in a large cavern on the inside of an abandoned moon, the project is a blend of archaeology and highly advanced programming. With a few lines of code, buildings are built or restored. Plants can grow. Lives can be created. It's not a perfect or exact science; things go wrong often as the intelligence adjusts its methods and adapts new data.

Even so, most days it can be idyllic. Great care has been taken to make sure the citizens can fully enjoy every possible comfort of home. The city is their home, after all...

About the game: Mayfield is a comm based horror-mystery game. You find your self in 1950's America, the “perfect” happy little town Mayfield. Being placed in a house with people you don't know, powers taken away and maybe even having a job you've never done before you can try and uncover what the heck is going on. Or take a more laid back take and play up the day to day life aspects.
