somarium is a multifandom RP that focuses on the premise of dreams! Characters from all mediums are welcome, but no AU's or original characters. Applications are open during the first week of every month. Reservations always open.

Players can write dreams for their characters and said dreams are ICly posted on the network for others to see and comment or interact with the dreamer. Events are also dictated by a Moon Cycle, which are posted every week. Big events happen during the New and Full Moon cycles that are usually timed to be toward the end of the month.

HI GUYS. There's a fledgling Uncharted cast over at Asgard Eventide, and we'd really love to pull in more castmates!

Here's a little bit about the game:

asgardeventide is a panfandom role playing game set in a Norse Myth-inspired fantasy world. Characters will join teams in the form of God Houses in order to bring life into a grey and empty world. The relationships between characters will give both the world and the characters themselves power, until they must face Ragnarok, the end of days. The game will have an overarcing plot, interactive NPCs, and an optional definite end.

We have Nate, Elena, and Flynn. Hopefully getting a Sully soon.

I can't speak for the other two, but I know I'd really like to see a Chloe (!!!!), Charlie, Talbot, and one or both of the Raja siblings. But hell, just getting in anyone at all would be great.

SUMMARY;

Gargleblasted is a community-based, panfandom game! There are roughly 260 members and the pace is medium to fast, depending on whether or not there is an event going on. It's more or less a sandbox game where you're welcome to play out almost anything you want, from happy and sparkly plots to hilarious crack to sad tear-jerkers or intense action! Not everything is crack in this comm!

Despite the game's large size, it's fairly easy to keep track of everything. It's actually possible not to look at the main community for a few days and still stay on top of things. There are approximately 4-6 posts per day in the main community and 1-2 posts in the log community per day, if that. We're also very back-tag friendly!

Applications are being processed today, but the next application cycle is Saturday, February 18th. Apps will be due on Friday, February 17th at 11:59PM EST.

cfud is a game in dire need of something. And that is a LAST EXILE CAST. Because right now we just have a Dio and we need EVERYONE ELSE.

cfud is GENERALLY a crack zombie camp with potential for many luls, but by no means is anybody obligated to stick to that, because with CR and events comes awesome events and potential for serious happenings and anything you want, really! It's a really open game with tons of potential to play around with ideas and do things that YOU feel like! It's a community-based commentspam game great to just jump into and get some CR going.

paixaorpg is a Kingdom Hearts based, multifandom RPG that takes place in the Castle Oblivion.

The Basics:

- Community and journal based. We make use of both, but you're more than welcome to use the mod journal f-list to check for any journal posts.
- We're a prose heavy game, so the main comm sees most of the use, with %15 or so going to journal comment spamming.
- Jam jar, but with a planned end and possible sequel. (If Nomura can come up with a bazillion sequels, so can we. :|b)
- 30-ish muns and 100 characters-ish in size
- Plot is delicious!
- Relaxed pace, aka slow. We run at 5 RL weeks = 1 In game week.
- Back tag happy! We like finished logs.
- No power nerfs! Only game breaking abilities need to be adjusted for the setting.
- AC is not difficult to pass and quite lenient.

mayfield_rpg is a panfandom horror game set in 1950's American suburbia. Each character is assigned a role in a family unit and is expected to live happily and quietly in the town. Nobody does that though. :V The people who run the town are constantly messing with the characters, and such messing can result in some truly epic events.

As of right now the only characters in game are Hakuno Kishinami(the female protag, whom I play) and Player Saber, but we've also got Sir Gawain app'd and Player Caster on reserve. We also have someone interested in playing Alice!

So who do we want? Everyone. Seriously. I myself am particular to Rani, as I took Hakuno from her route, but anyone and everyone is absolutely welcome.

Soul Campaign is a plot-driven panfandom rp set in the universe of Soul Eater. In short, characters are taken from their home worlds, stripped of their powers and become either a Weapon or a Meister- That is, gaining the ability to transform into a weapon of some sort, or the ability to wield one of these demon weapons. The game's pace varies from slow to medium, depending on the day, time of year, etc, but on average there are at least two to five posts a day, more when application cycles come around, events happen, or people are on breaks from classes/work/etc.

adstringendum is a multi-fandom, medium-paced, post-apocalyptic, community-based game with an average of two, week-long events each month and involved players and characters who will love you to pieces. If you're not fond of communities, there is a journal workaround being utilized as well! It's really probably one of the most friendly group of people I've personally played with. They always try to make everyone feel welcome, and the CR... Oh god, the planning! You'll have as much fun planning as you will playing. While it's a setup that can seem complicated, a good amount of information there is around for those curious and wanting to think of things to do. It's not actually required to go through, read and understand everything in each link, but available for those who are curious about certain details.

Apps are almost always open (they certainly are now!) and are looked over an average of once a week. Player-plots abound, and both crack and serious CR await you. Check it out for yourself. ♥

zodion is an 18+ community based game centered around the western zodiac. characters are marked with a tattoo of their zodiac sign upon entry, and are informed they must engage in worship every four weeks to help the world grow. most aren't so pleased when they find out that worship is sex. but hey, sex fuels the world, right? for those who aren't so willing, the tattoo will act as an 'encouraging' reminder from the gods, and will gradually push characters toward having sex once the first week passes with increasing intensity. first the odd dreams of destruction and cries for help come, and if they still refuse... well, then they might just start behaving a little oddly... but there's no need to actually thread any of it out (or keep constant track of a character's cycle), of course. both handwaving and fading to black is perfectly fine. there is an ongoing plot, but gameplay is mostly slice-of-life with some otherworldly elements thrown into it. characters who don't have canon powers may be given one game-based power of their zodiac sign's element, and this power will grow in strength the more they worship. characters with canon powers can keep one nerfed power to start, which will also become stronger as they worship. so yeah, this worship business influences a lot of things! it affects both powers and the world itself (you can even bring in new small things to the setting through your character's worship).

events tend to be either be of the ~sexy adventures~ kind, or the plot advancing kind.

damned_institute is a comm-based, horror-asylum, prose-based jamjar that has been running for a while. During the day, characters are told their lives as they know it are fake and mere fabrications of their delusional minds. During the night, however, is when the more sinister stuff happens; monsters prowl the hallways that your character is free to explore, patients are taken for experiments and missions alike and there are plenty of opportunities all around to mess with your character.

I've been playing Muroi Seishin for a few months now, and I think it would be amazing to have a few castmates around to keep Muroi some company! Anyone from Shiki would be more than welcome, but Ozaki Toshio, a Kirishiki Sunako and/or a Tatsumi are the characters I'd be most interested in interacting with.

A larger journal-based game that is mid to fast paced! Characters are dropped into the world of Pokémon, specifically the Johto region (Although they may now travel to Kanto). As a Trainer, Breeder, or even a Rocket Grunt, they are allowed to capture Pokémon and travel from city to city, making friends along the way. Of course, with Team Rocket around, there are times when trouble is to be had… Features mod-run events every once in a while, but also a number of smaller-scale player-run ones as well!

imperial_saga is an Alternate Universe political-ish game on Dreamwidth. Most characters can fit their histories into the game with just slight modifications though. The game itself is slow to medium paced.

There's a small FMA cast there right now, but we'd always like to have more. The characters there have based their characters on Brotherhood, but taking impressions from the 2003 anime or Manga wouldn't be a problem. It's AU after all.

Smash Academy is a Panfandom school-life RPG (however, the school thing is really a back drop, player events and plots are a wonderful thing and we like them all the time) centered around the idea of Super Smash Bros. Acceptable series are here!

It is a small game that goes from slow to medium paced. Community based and on DW! Pokemon OCs ARE ACCEPTABLE. We are a very chill RP with a very friendly munbase. Our AC's are very lax and back tagging is acceptable!

Our POKEMON list is verrrryyyy long with all kinds of leader/trainers/Pokemon, but you know what would be cool? If we had some more GYM LEADERS OF ALL REGIONS. Especially UNOVA guys are wanted. That means, N, Hilda, Hilbet, Cheren, Bianca, and Ghetsis! A Silver would be amazing too, especially since we have a fabulous Gold.

PUNCH-OUT!! only has this guy, Little Mac (Wii-verse) so far and would love to see...anybody. Especially a Doc.

CATHERINE cast just has Vincent Brooks for now. A Katherine is tentative, and an expansion of the cast for this wonderful game is wanted as well.

PERSONA 4 just has a Kanji at the very moment and he would kill to have...anyone as well!

I'm probably far too late but I thought I might fancy a try anyway.

We currently have Arthur, Ariadne, Eames, Robert Fischer, and Yusuf. We would absolutely love to polish off our cast with a Cobb, Saito, Nash, Professor Miles, Peter Browning... basically any one else that has the slightest amount of app-ability, we want it!

Welcome to Meridian. I know you're probably angry at me. You probably think that one of the other survivors or I brought you here - but that couldn't be further from the truth. Meridian is and always has been a city a tad too close to other worlds, and the incident just made things more... unstable. In other words, the city brought you here, not I. It's a bit hard to swallow, I know, but it's the truth. If it were otherwise, believe me, I would have sent you home by now.

I'm not sure how to do so, for the record. Sending you home, I mean. Perhaps Meridian will bring you home in its own time. I know this must be distressing, so I hope it does.

Meridian is a panfandom, AU-friendly RP taking place in the abandoned city of Meridian. The city is split into three levels of reality, with the city itself, the First Level, being split in half. Characters will be able to come and go freely between the first two levels, but will find that the split in the first level will hinder some more than others.

The city provides all that characters could need - as long as it doesn't involve technology - and the few remaining residents are eager to bring the new arrivals into their restoration efforts. However, they'll soon find that there's much more to Meridian than just merry attempts to bring the city back to its former glory. The levels are never restful for long, and the effects are inescapable. Yet none of the residents seem aware of this, or of how much of an effect their decisions have on the world.

zodion is an 18+ community-based game featuring themes from Western Zodiac in the land of... well, Zodion, where you need to have sex once every four weeks in order for the world to grow and develop. Characters are branded with the zodiac sign of their birthday (canon or one chosen by the player in application), and depending on whether they have special powers in their canon or not, they are given those accordingly to their astrological sign, so it's pretty nice if your character canonically doesn't have anything flashy. These powers improve and strengthen the longer you stay in Zodion (and the more sex you have aka 'worship' offering for the gods). Any kind of sexual act counts towards improving the condition of both the world of Zodion and also the special 'power' that your character possesses. If your character passes the three-week mark and into the fourth week, however, the brand will release aphrodisiacs into the body, making it pretty impossible for them to go for too long without doing something about it.

Handwaving and fading-to-black are all options for these happenings, and we're always good about backtagging and suchlike! Events are also pretty helpful for getting CR, as they're a mix of plot advancements or sexy adventures. The activity requirements are two options out of: 1 post, 1 log participation, or 15+ comments in a thread.

Brief Description of your game: X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.
