Destiny Strings is a panfandom, plot-oriented, adventure/slice of life community game, based on the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series. You do not need to know about the series to play here! Characters are brought to the mysterious city of Hinoto-Ri to aid in the city survival against the forces that threaten to destroy it...or they can join in on that destruction themselves. The choice is yours.

Characters brought in keep their full powers (unless moderators feel one would not work for plot-related reasons), all their items, even their vehicle of choice. Moreover, the more they stay, the more the city adapts, and you will be able to have pieces of your own homeworld arrive in the city as well.

The world is ever-changing, highly influenced by character interactions, and driven by a central plot that is modified based on the player's decisions. Nothing is ever completely set in stone and how the story ends will be entirely up to you.

You wake up, alone in the dark. There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're deposited on the floor of a stark, sterile, empty medical bay.

Don't worry. The disorientation usually wears off in less than thirty-six hours.

Ataraxion is a panfandom science-fiction/psychological horror RPG set in a universe not so different from our own. The game is primarily a character-driven jamjar, with an overarching plot that will conceal story elements from both the player base and the PCs. Characters will arrive in-game on the Titan-class colonization ship Tranquility, waking from grav couches located in the ship's medbay. The ship (mysteriously bereft of all original crew members, save two) is heading towards a way home—a deep-space jump point known only as Ataraxia. From there, according to the captain, characters will be able to return to their universes.

Over two years old, Ataraxion is a slow-paced game with a large plot every second month and a variety of minor monthly occurrences. Our monthly Activity Check is one post or one log or ten comments, and backtagging is welcomed and encouraged. We have characters from a variety of mediums, including television, film, books, webcomics, video games, comics, anime and manga. We love lone canon warriors and accept CR AUs and original characters.

Premise

Brave New World is an AU game set in the world of Pokémon, but a world much changed from that of the games. Due to the hubris of mankind in their attempt to control, capture and enslave the Legendary Pokémon, mankind was almost wiped out by a Pokémon uprising. Taking inspiration from post-apocalyptic settings and the Shin Megami Tensei series, players take on the role of a new order of Trainers, ones bearing the typing and abilities of Pokémon and eschewing the old technologies, instead emotionally connecting with any Pokémon they wish to align with. Brave New World combines elements of post-apocalyptic settings with that of discovery and exploration, taking place several centuries after the initial fall mankind is once again moving out to explore the world and rediscover the knowledge of the past while striving not to repeat the same mistakes. Brave New World takes place in an original setting and will eventually allow access to all existing non-Legendary Pokémon in the game.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! You open your eyes and see you’re in a giant winged egg-like building, in a world completely different from your own home. Smiling women are here to greet you, cheerfully handing you a journal and chirping encouragements to write to those you know. From the doorway, you can smell the sea, hear the wind in the trees, see the long road sprawling out to meet a little city before you. It’s almost peaceful, even though when you try to step out, you’re blocked from leaving by a powerful force. Outside, the world seems bright and warm, and the voices behind you are cheerful. But still, you cannot leave.

Kiseki is a comm-based, slice-of-life jamjar game, with a small and friendly playerbase! We have 15 players and 39 characters and always hoping for more. The setting is light-hearted with occasional underlying creepiness (think Outo Country in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle or cursed Storybrooke in Once Upon a Time), and we have player-run plots and game-wide events regularly.

We are a CLAMP-inspired game that just very recently OPENED TO PANFANDOM so we now accept almost any canon, not just CLAMP series! The setting has been updated to reflect CLAMP-themes, but accessible enough for canon-blind appers. We’re great for minor, underappreciated CLAMP series and characters as well as the popular ones – and now, hopefully, for other series beyond just CLAMP! Right now we have a growing Once Upon a Time cast, as well as a growing BBC Merlin cast, and the beginnings of a Disney and Kingdom Hearts presence, and would of course love other canons in that vein – such as Disney movies or Sailor Moon – or other new canons not already in game!

Reserves are always open and last for a week. The application itself is simple (no third person!). Game pace can be fast for a small game (during events, usually) but overall is slow to medium-paced. The playing style tends more towards comment-spam rather than prose-writing and the game-pace and player-base is casual and laid back. Comments are usually comment-spam, everyone is very backtag friendly, and our bi-monthly AC is low-pressure.

Sunshineverse Premise

Sunshineverse is about what it sounds like. Everything is happy and bright and very very different from the dark abyss that the canon Naruto timeline has delved into. Some drastic changes one can expect to see are that Obito Uchiha is the Godaime Hokage, the Uchiha clan lives, the Yondaime Kazekage was never murdered, and Yagura was never overthrown during of the Kiri bloodline massacres... because they never happened. All good things, right? It would appear that way. That, unfortunately, is only on the surface. Underneath that is a level of uneasy bitterness that might edge its way into war, if the wrong parties become offended at the wrong time. Political envoys are often closer to being hostages, sometimes ending up trapped in their host village if there is some sort of dispute between the two powers, and they might not even realize it. This, however, is a byplay that can easily be overlooked by a typical shinobi, so if all you wish to play is day to day interactions and missions, then it is easy enough to dodge any broiling undertones... so long as they stay undertones. Civilian characters might be more successful at this. The general tension will be part of the overarching mod plot, but it's the player characters that will determine if things really get intense. This game is panfandom and accepts OCs. After all, every character that steps into this game, even Naruto characters, will be getting a backstory makeover to fit the Alternate Timeline in this Naruto setting, as decided by their player. So have fun, and if you ever wanted to see what your character would be like if they were a ninja... well, here's your chance.

Sunshineverse Details

As the above summary probably showed, we are sort of a mixing pot of genres, but Action/Adventure is probably the closest definition you'll get, since we have everything from active combat missions, to huge shonen plot possibilities, to slice of life on the table. Any fandom can be applied for, and if there are any questions about how to convert character powers between fandoms, the mods are always happy to answer them. OCs can be created for the world, or converted to the world, just as any fandom character can be, and we'll treat them all equally. The pace is currently about medium, and we have a 1:1 day ratio... but in it will be up to our players if the speed picks up. We hope to see you there!

Nothing. It seems like forever, then suddenly, there is light. All around you stand the buildings of a futuristic paradise. It echoes emptily, yet water flows and electricity hums. By your side stands a strange doctor explaining already even though you've just woken up, and offering what people of the modern day will note is similar to a smart phone. Ringing quite impatiently, a voice waits on the other side: "You've arrived. Welcome to our game..."

The multi-verse stands just as surely as people imagine it. Its inhabitants are beings so beyond our mortal scope and ability to behold that they are simply known as gods. We give them a great many names, and imagine them in a great many ways. The only thing everyone can agree on, for the most part, is that they exist. They are our creators, our caretakers, and most prominently, our game masters. We exist for their amusement, and have, from time to time, played parts in a great many of their games. As it stands, three gods that preside over one particular floor of the multi-verse have invited the others for a game of amusement, laying the ultimate trap by invoking the other gods' pride when their game had been declined: "It's perfectly understandable if you think our creations can best yours."

So now you are a pawn in a game. The game is oft spoken of, but never mentioned in detail. Reminders lay everywhere, and for those few that think their gods have abandoned them and left them to their own fate, there are reminders they are everywhere as well. Plots to overthrow these three would-be game masters are in the works with traps having been carefully lain, and all that needs added is the final ingredient: pawns.

3step_paradise is a panfandom roleplay set in the futuristic city of Paradise, a place where the gods play a game with player characters serving as their pawns. Characters can be brought into the game by their god without any explanation, be working with their god as an Advocate, or even arrive on their own terms in some cases. The city isn't the only location, though: just outside the walls is the Outerland, a dangerous, changing landscape yet to be fully explored.

3Step has a laid-back, sandbox feel with monthly, optional events and an emphasis on world building and player-run plots. We're a small, tight-knit community that is paced on the slow-medium side and loves backtagging. We allow AUs, OCs, and even CR from other games. Activity check is once a month. teleios

Teleios is a small, plot-based redemption game that is set in a fantasy world of the same name. Characters rack up a "debt" based on their canon and pre-canon actions, and are brought to Teleios in order to work that debt off by rebuilding the city in order to earn their passage into Utopia.

The game has no network, though it does have P2P and small group calling features. It's primarily action-based, and posts can be made in actionspam or prose formats, and everyone has demonstrated openness to either format. The game runs in real time where 1 day IRL = 1 day in game.

There are fully interactive, regularly available NPCs with whom characters can build CR. There is a metaplot that interacts with characters and players through mission plots that the agents send teams of indebted (player characters) on intermittently. The current pool of characters just returned to the city from the other worlds they escaped to after the metaplot brought war to Teleios.

Reserves are always open, and a reserve is needed to apply. Applications are open through the 30th (they will open again April 15), and all new characters arrive on the 1st of each month.

Seven hundred years ago, great war ravaged the land, decimation lanced across peoples and races and creeds, inexorable. Seven hundred years ago, everything ground to a sudden, bloody halt. Tu Vishan, now known to the people of Keeliai as 'Asti', was one of two great turtles to survive the calamity, and he did what has not been done for millions of years. He freed himself, and he swam. In the years since, he has not stopped.

He is now a beacon, a refuge. A testament to the strength of will that all creatures exert to survive. And on his back is the only city left in on the planet that's free of the dark influence of Malicant, a being so terrible that some have already given the cause of fighting it for lost. The Emperor Eshai, who has reigned in Keeliai for as long as Asti has swam, tried at first to summon heroes to her cause. Her first attempt failed. Instead, she brought the kedan into Konryu. A fierce and warlike species from a dying planet, the improper use of her magics damaged them, and made them what they are today. Her second attempt brought heroes true enough, but they were lost when Sinbrilee, Asti's sister and the other surviving turtle, died and sank to the ocean floor.

Keeliai straddles the three realms of Life, Death and Dreaming. Now revealed to be literal places, Keeliai exists in the plane of 'Life', and Death is currently ruled by Malicant's iron fist.

Arrival in Keeliai is not pleasant. Upon waking, you find yourself in a basin of water, and the Emperor is standing beside you, ensuring that you have survived the transition. He gives you a simple once over, and departs from the room before you regain enough strength to speak. Instead, his attendants flock to you, helping you out of the water with hushed words. Don't mind the Emperor, they say quietly. Had a bit of a rough week, he has. If you ask where you are and how you've come to be here, they'll explain what they can. That you've been brought to Keeliai to fight a great evil, and they hope you're a better warrior than the last bunch. If you try to pursue that line of questioning, though, other kedan will shush the one that spoke, and stiffly inform you that the rest is the Emperor's business.

You are here to fight a war. Just possibly, you are here to bear witness to the end of the universe. Perhaps you'll get a chance to be a hero, or perhaps you'll die trying.

What happens next is up to you.

tushanshu is a community-based panfandom science fiction/fantasy RPG with occasional horror elements and an overarching metaplot. It is a world of consequence and intrigue where character actions can and do have far-reaching effects on the world around them.

Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA), also known as Shibusen (Death Military Department), is a school created by Lord Shinigami in Death City, Nevada. There, Meisters and Weapons are taken in and trained to master their abilities and form partnerships. Bonded together through Soul Resonation, they face corrupted souls and Witches, and fight on behalf of their headmaster to keep the world in order.

Unfortunately, in 2009, war overtakes the world. Lord Shinigami is killed by the Witch Medusa, leaving behind a young and inexperienced ruler - his son to be precise - in charge of maintaining order in his place and trying to bring an end to the clash. In this moment of desperation, Death the Kid accidentally activates the Demon Tool “BREW” with a single, unclear wish:

Rescue Death City and stop the waves of Madness from overtaking the world.

BREW grants the Shinigami’s wish, but not in a way he expected. Through its unknown power, the tool begins dragging in individuals from other worlds. Humans, aliens, those young and old, even those of incomprehensible power are drawn into the war and are bestowed the power of Meisters and Weapons. Beyond Eibon, no one understands how to control BREW; however, what is known is that until the war is over, Guests are trapped.

Fast forward to now. 2010, the War is reaching its climax. Witch assaults are becoming more frequent, three Demon Gods are on the loose, and Shibusen prepares for the final battles even in unfavorable odds. Guests continue to train, take missions, and try to reach Death Scythe status to end the war. Only then will they finally settle the score, either with Shibusen or against them.

As mentioned above, Soul Campaign is a plot-driven, medium-paced, panfandom RP set in the Soul Eater Universe. Don’t know what Soul Eater is? That’s alright! Watching or reading Soul Eater is not necessary to join. Vital information is covered in the FAQs and Rules above!

(A game built around reincarnated characters defending an ordinary Earth from extraordinary danger.)
Save the Earth is a cross between an AU game and a memory loss game; with their universes ended and their souls converted into new bodies, player characters have lived their entire lives up this point on an Earth that is, for all practical purposes, identical to our own. However, with an otherworldly enemy seeking to conquer the world, for those regaining these strange memories, abilities, possessions, and personality traits of their prior lives... being unaware of their previous existence - being normal - is rapidly becoming an impossibility.

The plot style is designed to be responsive to in-character action. The game undergoes 'Seasons,' with the setting undergoing changes as the plot progresses. There are no all powerful NPCs and no self resolving plot points. The player characters are the primary driving force behind what occurs.

We just entered Season Two, following the reveal of the Reincarnates' existence to the world at large... and a new nexus of trouble to be concerned about: Las Vegas. With the forces attempting to get a foothold in their world strengthening, those finding themselves with access to the 'Network' must choose how to present themselves to the rest of the world and what to do with the resources given to them by their past lives.

You can even go home again! Kinda. If you're willing to give up something important. Currently it's a slice-of-life game where characters take on jobs to earn a living, with the odd event, but there are hints that something deeper is going on in the world...

DRAGON HAVEN

Dragon Haven is a pan-fandom, small-sized, comm-based game. It's an infinite world crafted by dragons, tasked with maintaining life and death. All characters that enter do so on dragon-back, rescued from a hostile world to the havens they've created. Once inside the havens, though, anything goes. Villains may be brought in by the playful and curious dragons, while others may cause the world to transform in...interesting ways.

After meeting an activity requirement, players are also allowed - and encouraged! - to apply for pieces of their worlds (or others) to be brought in by the dragons as well. They do love pleasing the community they've begun to create, so plot suggestions are also encouraged.

Players in Dragon Haven can expect to find a vast landscape to explore, plots that not only span regions, but the whole world, in order to keep characters on their toes, a friendly, laid back environment, and a game where the possibilities are nearly limitless.

You've been going about your life as you normally do. Fighting, transforming, flirting, falling in love, winning competitions, attending school, singing your heart out-- whatever it is they normally do. That's when it happens: you get pulled out of your universe--

Okay, no, that's not what happens. Life goes on, just as it always has, but you can't seem to get the internet to leave you alone. Maybe you don't even know what internet is! There's just this really strange duck perched on your computer screen, in your book, taking over your mirror, and it's accompanied by a magical internet community called Drama Drama Duck.

The name might be a little confusing, but it looks like there are other people on this website. Sometimes it'll start recording you unexpectedly, sometimes it will be there for you when you're having a tough time, sometimes it'll straight-up screw with you.

The Community, as it's known by its userbase, is a cross-universe blogging website that won't go away until your character uses it and interacts with other characters from other series (worlds). It looks like Dreamwidth and acts like Dreamwidth, but it's connected to the worlds of multiple canons and allows your characters to meet new people from other universes while still going through canon events. Avert unfortunate events, make your character's life better (or worse) by interacting with other characters, or even just have your character's life ruined by monthly events and viruses!

Wanted: Fakir has definitely been wanted to complete the main quartet. We have an ongoing plot going in-game about Mytho regaining his heart shards, and now that it's entering it's final stages, it would be very interesting to have more characters around to mix things up. Uzura, Autor and Drosselmeyer could all be interesting presences. Really, anyone from this canon who is appable could fit in well here!

General Game Info

luceti is a journal-based game, known as "the game with the wings". It is a jamjar based on the premise of characters being suddenly trapped within an enclosure known as Luceti, where everyone has a pair of (non-flying) wings and a barcode on their necks. They're watched over by the Malnosso, who run experiments that usually are the cause of in-game events. It is largely considered to be slice-of-life but with openings for player plots, and there is also an ongoing plot which involves the war ravaging in the world outside the enclosure. It is considered to be a medium-paced game (with a spike during events which are usually monthly), and the AC is 30 comments that can be split between three sources (posts and threads) which are collected every other month.
