Hey there! From your muselist I see you used to play at route_29, so I don't think I have to give you the whole spiel, but do you think you'd be up to checking it out again? We've got an itty bitty Steven Universe cast consisting of just Lapis and Steven, and I am all for more castmates. I know our Steven would be very excited as well!

Aaaaa as much as I would love to (I love and dearly miss Route, and I would love playing with you again too!), one of the biggest reasons I dropped was just a burn-out on the setting. Having played there for three years already before, I'm not sure if I could make it work again.

Right now we have Chiaki Nanami who would love any Super Dangan Ronpa 2 cast mates at cosmographia! Cosmos is a game actually inspired by Steven Universe, where characters arrive in a town similar to Beach City called Waverly Bay to find they've somehow become a Gem! Each character starts with one power upon arrival and gains a new power during each monthly plot event! These can be the character's original powers or completely new abilities. We're also super backtag friendly!

I think I've already spoken with your buddy up page there, but I definitely wanted to encourage you to look at heyfreemagic because I'd love to have the Human Beings Club together! Everyone gets granted magic powers, which freaks Greg right out, but having Connie around could help him keep grounded.

The game's also open to AU characters and the like, if you wanted to bring others from your muselist in. Everyone you play is someone I'd love to see tbqh.

Ahaha you caught us! Yes that is indeed my Steven and I've been looking at it since you mentioned it to them. I'm surprised it is so small it looks really good! We're gonna keep discussing it I think and see where things fall, but I'm definitely keeping it in mind!

Can I interest you in heyfreemagic? We're DW based, backtag friendly, slow paced and pretty small, and we don't nerf powers so much as replace them.

Essentially, characters are brought in to a city where sentient shadows are attacking by the light god fighting them. Said god gives them some form of magic (in place of extant powers, if they're a powered character) and essentially peaces out, leaving them to figure out how to use their new gift and take out the shadows.

I know our Greg Universe would be ten kinds of thrilled to have Connie; personally, I'm interested in Mabel, but I think any of your offered characters would be fun. :Db

Well I'm definitely already looking into it! Right now my Steven player and I are talking about it, though I might keep it in mind for Mabel too/instead depending on how that pans out! It's very interesting, I've just never played in a game quite this small before so I'm a little tentative myself. But aaaa it looks like a setting I would have a lot of fun with!

I recced this to Steven but, repeating myself down here: would you be interested in an AU Pokémon game? bravenewworld meets your requirements - plus Connie could both raise monster friends and, if you wanted, gain Pokémon abilities herself. The setting is huge so there's lots of freedom to play around in the world and just have fun with Pokémon, but there's also an overarching plot (angry Legendaries, culture clashes between cities, etc.) if you wanted to get involved in that!

You're welcome! It's not always happy funtimes, so fair warning there (the Legendaries are kind of on the fence about humanity so they act out now and then - plus not all the human civilizations are friendly), but for the most part it's full of players who want to build a world together and have fun doing it. I'd love to see any combination of your characters, so I hope you keep liking what you read!
