Ryslig is a body-horror game that centers around the concept of characters slowly turning into monsters -- and struggling with the consequences of that. There's a lot of emphasis on action and making as many terrible puns as possible being really horrible people. What's not fun about that? You know what would make it even more fun? The FFXIII cast.

Haven't you always wondered what Fang would be like as a manticore? Or Snow as a minotaur? The possibilities are ENDLESS! July is app month, too, so if you've been hankering to play some FFXIII and love monsters, you've got perfect timing.

HAVE: just Noel here, a werewolf and currently actual lone wolf from the series!
WANTED: as you can imagine, basically anyone! I have a particular want for characters Noel knows, so Serah, Yeul, Caius, Snow, Lightning, and Hope, but I've played him with characters who don't know him (like Vanille) and that's been fun too!

Enough with the zombies. No more torturous prisons, or otherworldly invaders, or fighting for one's life against a slew of frightening abominations. Your muse is exhausted. Why not let your muse out for some fresh air in the peaceful town of Rendezvous? Ah, now that's the place to go! Rolling green hills, crystal clear mountain spring water, naturally grown crops... Why, if your muse really wanted to, he or she could own their very own farm, free of cost! Wouldn't it be nice to raise cows, or grow hearty vegetables, or spend a lazy day in the shade waiting for the fish to bite your line?

BETA TESTERS WANTED

The game is set to officially open on September 1st. I need people who are willing to play the game from July 7th through August 31st. No applications or reserves are required for beta testers. This will serve as a sort of prologue to the game's beginning, with unlockables being reset at the end of the testing period. Basically, I just want to make sure the game works in practice and not just in theory.

What I need is feedback, and questions to put on the FAQ page that may have escaped my notice. Let me know what works, and what doesn't. If there's a broken link, flag that bad boy. Beta testers are not required to use the optional game mechanics. In exchange for your help, any character used during the beta test will not require an application if you want to remain in the game, and will retain all CR and goods collected during that time.
