You sound like you might like cosmographia! We're a new-ish (only been open about 2 months) game inspired by Steven Universe, where characters arrive in the seaside town of Waverly Bay to find they now have a gemstone irremovably attached to their body. These gems grant magical powers, which they'll need to fight the monsters roaming around!

We already have a good size MLP cast including Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Sunset Shimmer, Aria Blaze, and Equestria Girls!Twilight Sparkle, so Zecora or Rainbow Dash would be extremely welcomed! Cosmos also accepts OCs, fandom OCs, and setting OCs like MMO characters (we have a Final Fantasy XIV character currently) and player character OCs such as the Inklings from Splatoon!

A game that has everything you want, minus some temporary power loss, is thewake. All characters initially lose powers but can learn to get them back by using the ability of Bending, the ability to bend reality in the city to their will.

It's a great game with a great pace, overarching plot and open to player plots, and has Relius Clover here and a Nu-13 in game. Litchi Fay-Ling, Ragna, or Jin would be amazing in game. From any canon point too.

Have you considered Tu Shanshu/tushanshu. Our Avatar cast is in flux, and mostly (all?) Aang-era folks, but we still should have a few. (The downside is that there was a Korra there before, so you'd be inheriting some history.)

The AC is 15 comments a month, and the game is pretty slow and focusing on intrigue and exploration. Extra comments above AC can be used to buy personal plots or clues to the metaplot.

We're a small/slowish game with lots (lots and lots) of plot and some horror elements, but plenty of chance to stay out of the plot and do SoL if you prefer--I'd say we strike a pretty good mix of the two, and it's easy to lean one way or the other based on your preferences. There's no power loss.

AC is 15 comments a month across 3 threads, with more activity earning IC rewards, and we will backtag you 5ever. We tend to be more heavily log-centric, but if you can work with that, I think we hit all of your other preferences? Rhys isn't exactly a castmate just yet, but he is on Tushan's TDM and I'm hoping once things settle down a little for me I'll be able to app him in! There's also very, very tentatively the chance for a pre-sequel Handsome Jack, but no promises on that one.

Tushanshu is a slow-to-medium paced game, with AC being a minimum of 15 comments per month across no more than three threads. Apps are always open and get reviewed every weekend, it's not a sex game, there's no memory loss whatsoever and no limit on characters' abilities or the items they can arrive with (as long as they had the items on their person at pull point). The players are awesome and friendly, too!

Looking for a home for Wheatley from Portal! I'm in CDC already so I won't be looking at Each or Ryslig, and I've also previously played him at Ataraxion, so that's also a no-go. but it's a kind of sci-fi-y game where everyone's turned into "code" of some sort because their world is destroyed and thus transported to a colony on a jungle planet. the colony itself is really advanced, even if the rest of the planet is not. it's got a mix of silliness and horror with events every month.

The game is heyfreemagic, a panfandom jarjam set in a city in which, essentially, evil sentient shadows are invading and attempting to eat the place, and the light god has summoned characters, given them magic, and gone "fight my battles for me please! LIGHT GOD OUT!" and left them there to figure things out and not get eaten.

Also the shadows have been known to make deals with people in much the same way one makes a deal with Satan, so there's that.

I think outer_divide would be a good fit. The closest it has to a castmate is reboot!Bones, but I'm quite sure Kirk would fit in nicely. AC is five prose tags, so there's a heavy prose emphasis in the game. It's small and the playerbase is chill, so it makes a good reintroduction (a few players have used it to get back into DWRP in the past). And there's a lot for a character like Kirk to get involved with from rebuilding a crashed spaceship to getting involved in the local political tensions to a spot of dragon or other monster hunting. Heck, we had a team launch a space mission recently. There's a ton of room for player influence on the plot (one time we broke history!)

Also worth noting that I'd love to see Steve and we do have an MCU cast consisting of Tony, Pepper and Thor along with Molly here from 616.

Finally, there are dinosaurs.

I play Laura at tartarusnet and would love a Warren. I'd love to see either of the other two but I'm selfish and would definitely love to see a Warren most of all. It's a comm based game that's usually more on the slow side especially right now during summer where a lot of the players are pretty busy. Some players tag medium and are more on the boomerang side while others are 1-2 a day. It really varies.

The game itself centers around sins/mistakes characters have made, they're marked with a letter that represents one of those of your choosing. Events are based around either those marks/trying to get characters to grow or they can be just based around video games/movies/books.

Hi! I play mirror!T'Pol over at lastvoyages, and I would LOVE to see more Star Trek characters over there! It can definitely be on the faster side of medium, but we have a focus on character development and growth, so there's some SoL since everyone lives in relatively small confines, but there's also a ton of plot going on all the time, since wardens are there to redeem inmates.
