Premise
For the past few years, the world has become more and more temporally unstable. Rifts in time and space have started opening up all around the world, letting things slip through. Things like monsters, aliens, weird artifacts, strange people from different universes... and you. Dropped onto the busy island of Manhattan, will you side with the agency working to protect the Earth from dangerous supernatural beings, join the rebellion and fight for freedom, or walk your own path? Will you just try to live your life and keep out of trouble, or will you be the one causing the trouble? Either way, you’ll cross paths with more than a few uncommon people in this city, and maybe someday, you’ll even call the big city “home”.

Hey! My friend and I are seriously looking into the game for Gendry and Sansa. But out of curiosity, do you know if the mods would be cool with playing them by their show ages, despite a book-only canon point? We both like to play post-AFFC, but because icons being what they are, playing them at 13 and 15 doesn't quite... work, really. (Especially for Gendry here.)

Also, out of curiosity, aren't apps supposed to be opened til the end of the month? Reserves don't seem to be open either. So we were curious if something was going on that changed that.

Reserves open on the 1st of February and Apps will be open on the 14th. The game was closed off this month for a metaplot thing we were doing, and I've pmed the mod on plurk asking about the age difference. I personally don't think it will be a problem but I have to wait for word back on that. I can keep you and Sansa-mun posted on that if you like?

The age thing will definitely be interesting for me since I play Arya from A Dance With Dragons and she's 11 at that time though Maisie pulls off looking like a kid pretty well lol. I think by Season 3 Sansa says at one point she's 14? so not much of a difference from the book, I don't think. But yeah Gendry looks like a grown man hahaha.

But yes, I think you'll both enjoy the game there's no shortage of things to do. We just got done a huge month long metaplot thing and our mod is pretty fab so there's usually cool things going on. ALSO thing to note that might excite you - Arya has Nymeria as per a gift from the NPCs but there's a missions system where you can get powers/things from home so Arya might actually do this and get Lady back for her!

teleios

Teleios is a small, plot-based redemption game that is set in a fantasy world of the same name. Characters rack up a "debt" based on their canon and pre-canon actions, and are brought to Teleios in order to work that debt off by rebuilding the city in order to earn their passage into Utopia.

The game has no network, though it does have P2P and small group calling features. It's primarily action-based, and posts can be made in actionspam or prose formats, and everyone has demonstrated openness to either format. The game runs in real time where 1 day IRL = 1 day in game.

There are fully interactive, regularly available NPCs with whom characters can build CR. There is a metaplot that interacts with characters and players through mission plots that the agents send teams of indebted (player characters) on intermittently, and it's coming to a head around December and resulting in a two-month apps closure - so get them in now!

Reserves open on the first of February. Applications will open from the 15th-28th, and all new characters arrive on the 1st. This is the first app round of the new metaplot cycle, coming off an app closure - a great time to join!

Banners unfurl, antiquated posters appear on lamp posts, telephone poles, mailboxes, carriage hitches, shop windows - all of them emblazoned with the bright faces of clowns, roaring tigers, mystical tarot - Come, come, they say! Left of Midnight Faire is on the way! Mesmerizing mysteries, they promise, and thrills beyond compare!

Excitement builds, and tents rise in the distance like paper cranes. Lights and flashes and the roar of beasts drive your anticipation, and by the time the wrought iron gates are open you are salivating with apprehension, with the need to see the promised sights, to experience the thrills and chills, the press of the crowd, the sparkling masks. Stepping onto the grounds feels as though you've crossed into another dimension, another time, where excitement abounds and energy hums in the air like electricity. Lights and sounds surround you, entice you toward the many paths that branch toward and away from the main thoroughfare. Will you visit the house of mirrors, of have your fortune told? Or perhaps sample the rich or strange delicacies, rest at the dark and dreary inn, peruse the wares, or perhaps head straight for the knot of commotion in the center -- the main tent, packed full with three rings of dark and exciting entertainment!

The choice is yours, but the longer you stay, the harder it seems to leave, the more these stained tents and angular stalls begin to feel like home. Or, perhaps, this has been home all along...?

Left of Midnight is a panfandom musebox/dressing room RP based around a traveling circus and carnival faire. Every week it appears in a new location, having been advertised several days beforehand, and no matter what world or location the faire ends up in, it always looks the same: surrounded by a deep forest, even if there are no trees in your area, and hung over by perpetual dark, never any brighter than twilight. Once it is open the faire does not close, though some stalls may close briefly for maintenance here and there, but different performers circle in to keep the excitement running wholesale around the clock. All are welcome here, and you can play your character either as a spectator or a participant or perhaps both, if the faire's pull is strong enough to keep them there permanently, for there is no leaving once you have become a part of the family— though strange disappearances are wont to happen on occasion. If your character is a performer, they may either be OU and drawn from their original background, or AUed as part of the faire from the beginning.

Anything goes here, let your imagination run wild, the dark sky is the limit.
