Extra/Fake: OC-only, Fate/Extra 'verse based game

Extra/Fake

A massive, unknown machine, the Moon Cell. The repository of all knowledge and the secrets of magic through science. Found stuck inside a deadly game, seven Servants and their Masters clash against each other and many others in their quest for their deepest, most cherished wish...

Welcome to the Holy Grail Wars. A heavily story driven game taking place in the Nasuverse (in its more popular canon, known as the Fate series). Taking cues from the timeline established in the Extra game and its interquel, all magic has dispersed from the world and the only available method to emulate the effects of mage craft lies within the mysterious Moon Cell. Players take the role of Master or Servant, bound by oath, loyalty or alliance of convenience, the pairs will interect with their partners or their enemies, with scorn or with genuine feelings of respect. A hub world constructed to resemble an academy functions to service the Master groupings until a match has been announced and the game of the Holy Grail Wars commences. Events are also planned at least a week in advance to break the monotony.

But with the Grail War comes sacrifice, and with sacrifice, death. Death will carry more weight here than ever before. Suffice to say, dropping off this mortal coil will bare great consequence. Although to the player, this does not necessarily mean game over.

A greater mystery lies within the ailing Moon Cell. It has begun to malfunction and glitches threaten to unravel reality itself as simple rules as well known as gravity and thought become distorted. And within these glitches, the truth can be found, too...

Sign ups are on an invite-only basis. A tighter commitment than usual is also required as the player base for this game will be quite small and thus, each player may need to pitch in more than usual.
