I'm the exact opposite, haha ;; A friend of mine who is very much into the series got me into it through the anime, and I don't quite have the resources to play the games so I've just stuck with what's been more available for myself.

Aah yes I feel you, I would have loved to played with the old cast. ;_; But now I'm super tempted to bring an idol along with you as I have no restraint lmao.

I've actually kind of missed being in a Pokémon game but didn't want to go back to Route, so I'll definitely give this a closer look! I know a few people on plurk who play here i've just...never actually bothered to look into it beyond "that one pokémon au game".

About how fast would you say "chill" is exactly? I'm not looking for super fast or anything, but if a game is really slow moving I tend to lose interest no matter how much I like the premise.

Maybe we can start in a meme and then see if that scenario spins off into a continuation? Right now it looks like there's a basic plot meme and (interestingly) an airplane meme, if either of those appeal. (Kanade and Tsubasa are also on the musicamagica test drive meme while we wait to see whether that game takes off.)

Also, I make no promises about how Kanade phrases that sentiment, but that can totally happen.

I use ppsspp to emulate the games! currently everything is psp so they can be emulated on the computer, or the phone \o/ I can also throw you ISO files for all the games that have been out so far if you prefer!

You can pretty much go at whatever pace is best for you and people will keep tagging - I usually get at least one tag per thread per day from people, usually more. If you want to go faster, plenty of people are around who like going faster; if you miss a few days that's cool too. There's usually 3-4 new posts a week (unless there's an event - then everyone's tagging the event log) and lots of mingle posts where people tag out all over the place.

...one other unrelated thing I really like about it is that everyone has really fun Pokémon. You can "bond" with 1-2 Pokémon a week (depending on a few factors) and if you ask, the mods will write up a little personality blurb. I've gotten things like "Vulpix is overly proud of her beautiful tails" and "Wooper likes to sing and dance in the rain - he thinks there should be a play about that"....

Hey there!

I'm playing this dork in a musebox kind of thing where characters are getting pulled in through cracks in reality to land in the Rise of the Guardians universe. Everybody gets at least one super power (Tadashi got healing touch. Because of course he did), and they're fighting to defeat the monstrous thing of darkness that's breaking reality...but since it's a musebox, there's plenty of variation on what that means.

Tadashi got yoinked from the fire and then Honey Lemon let him in on the fact that he didn't make it out on his own, so he's currently having a major case of the sad over the fact he's never going to see his stupid genius baby brother again. Either 14-year-old or older Hiro would be awesome! There's also plenty of other canons in the game, and no AC.

Awesome, glad to hear it! It's a really fun game - a good mix of silly stuff like the Pokémon blurbs (...and most of what happens when there aren't events) and darker adventure-type plot twists when Big Plot Events go down (but these are spread out). If you have any questions at all while you're looking things over I'm happy to answer them - there's also a AU Planning post where you can ask for tips/established CR and a Test Drive to give the setting a try.

But yeah this is basically "fun details: the game". With Pokémon.

It's not always happy funtimes, so fair warning there (the Legendaries are kind of on the fence about humanity so they act out now and then - plus not all the human civilizations are friendly), but for the most part it's full of players who want to build a world together and have fun doing it. Reason for unsure status is mostly the fact that Au Ra were just released with the recent expansion, so all we know about the race is what we've been told in game and the lore released prior. But I am still willing to toss her into something no matter.

i've actually been eyeing cerealia since the... last app cycle, i think? but i've been waffling on who to play there, so i'm pretty much sold on the game already. i hadn't even considered mako, but seeing that there's a cast makes it super tempting, especially if the tone of the game matches up with canon well, since that would definitely help things along, given how... interesting... mako is.

so i'm definitely going to keep it in mind!! is there a test drive or anything i could throw her onto when i get her account set up/do a quick canon refresher, or did i already miss my window of opportunity there, out of curiosity?
