Maybe take a look at Marina Nova on Insane Journal? We might be skewing more toward slow paced, but that's kind of eye of the beholder too. We're definitely very backtag friendly! It's an underwater prison with regular events. IJ comes with 100 free icons which is hard to beat. For not much money you can get up to 300 or even 500. There's even a 5000 option in case you never want to be able to decide on an icon to submit a tag!

We have a Tyki Mikk with no exorcists to reign him in! This clearly needs to be righted! Korra is also apping this round. She'll technically be an AU Korra with memories from another game. Also, I have this pink haired princess and her name starts with an E so close enough, right? I'm also pretty sure if you are playing a warden he should be at a prison, so reason enough for everyone, right? But really, cast or no cast anyone would be so welcome!

genessia has a massive Fairy Tail cast that would LOVE a Gajeel, and it's not a horror-based game (though some events occasionally get into horror territory, but it's never permanent). It's a game with some slice-of-life elements, with different events every month that are just now starting to form the metaplot of the game.

I play Haymitch at entranceway and we have Katniss, as well, and a Finnick on the test drive meme right now. It's got a reasonable pace and while the AC looks a little daunting, it's for two months at a time and is very easy to reach (one open post and 4 threads in 2 months). The events are very versatile and offer everything from horror to lighter happenings and I would certainly love to have Johanna around.

The premise is based on the Angel Beats! series meaning that it takes place in an afterlife which takes the form of a high school.

Hey there! Just going off of your settings, I wanted to rec asgardeventide. It's comm-based and neither AU nor memory loss, though it does feature an easy power loss/replacement system. It's very backtag-friendly with a 2:1 OOC:IC day ratio, though the game itself is pretty large -- we're at just about 300 characters at last count.

Unfortunately, there isn't a current Final Fantasy cast, VII or otherwise, but the OOC atmosphere of the game is incredibly friendly and cross canon CR is incredibly easy and fun to build. AC is 30 comments a month spread across at least three posts, and IC contact posts count in that sum.

Here's the basic premise, and here is the no-obligations test drive for the month, in case you're interested in getting a feel for how Rufus might mesh with the game setting or some of the other characters. I'd personally love to see you there -- FFVII is one of my favorite canons, period, and I think Rufus could be a lot of fun there.
