The CITY OF ARIEL is a pan-fandom, dystopian sex game set inside a futuristic city on a ruined world that has seen many cycles of strife over the years. The city's core founders--Ariel, Belenus, Scylla, and [REDACTED]--wanted to build a liberating paradise focused exclusively on sensual pleasure. But the problem with good intentions is just how easily they can become corrupted.

IN THE CITY OF ARIEL, YOU CAN FIND...

★ Generally a slower-paced roleplaying experience. (One in-game day is equal to three days in real time.)
★ Based on community journals, with welcoming players who will respect your preferences and boundaries.
★ Open to original characters. Backtag-friendly. Monthly AC requirement of smut comments. An optional core game mechanic known as Status AC encourages you to finish your smut threads, no matter how long it takes. You'll receive all sorts of meaningful rewards for doing so.
★ Speaking of which, returning characters can recover their original status level with a minimum of fuss involved.
★ Monthly, usually optional events for your sandboxing pleasure. There's also a very bold metaplot that has recently kicked off in earnest with terrorism, a horrific storm, and mysterious technological artifacts. Due to rigorous documentation, it's easy to catch up with what's going on and get involved if you're interested in doing so. It's absolutely your choice to follow the "main campaign" of the game or not.
★ Everything from vanilla to extreme kink is welcome and encouraged via the setting and events!
