Something changed. Maybe you tripped, maybe it seemed like the world momentarily slid out of your grasp. You're the only one that seemed to notice.

You took another step and something slipped, like the world took a step sideways, and without moving at all.

You are here.

The grand parlor looms in front of you, windows grimy and dimmed with dust. A sense of age hangs around you. A heavy door stands behind you, obviously not the way you came in. It's solid and unmovable when tested, locked tight.

Leaving proves impossible. Just surviving will take up much of your attention. The people around you have no more clue than you, but you will need to depend on them now. The day stands ahead of you--time to prepare, perhaps, but night is a constant threat.

About the Game:

Maison de Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! We accept OCs and AUs as well as canon characters.

First off, a shout-out to any horror fandom characters! We definitely want you and your expertise! This is definitely including, but by no means limited to, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil, Coraline, Shadow Hearts, and Haunting Ground!
